I remember being absolutely surprised and shocked at seeing Janet releasing so much pain and anger in this film. I definitely believe that she was letting out all of that pain over the death of her brother. Seeing that also reminded me of the only collaboration that she and Michael did together, which was "Scream."

Her scene was just so powerful and when I first saw this film and her scene, I was just so shock to see that side of her. And at the time I didn’t know it was a reflection of her grieving over Michael. But now that I’m older and I’ve watched this movie so many times, I fully understand now why that scene was so well portrayed 🙂🙂🙂

The thing that really gets me Janet and Michael were so much alike in the sense that even when talking about heavy and sad things they have this tendency to lighten their voices and smile. As one who grew up in a pretty abusive household where I was told don’t cry or show emotion my heart breaks for her because I know how bad that mentality can be extremely detrimental to letting go and moving on.

WOW. I’d been thinking about this since I first saw the scene way back on day one in 2011. I finally come up here to see if I’m wrong for thinking this, and look what I find!
