Yes, everything is easy once you know how. The ladle is a good method if you want your poached eggs to look round and pretty. I still like my son's method, who is a chef, were you swirl the boiling water and drop in the raw egg and cook for two minutes. But thanks for the tip!

Cuz it wont be round? But thats the way I do it actually and its fine. I'll put my egg in a ramekin or a small coffe cup and set it in boiling water so the water comes half way up the side of the cup or whatever, just making sure it doesnt overflow into the cup and get 2 much on the egg, altho I guess that wouldnt hurt it. Either way it comes out like a disc kinda but its fine 4 me! Just never microwave an egg unless u like and overcooked yolk lol
