It doesn't though... those were just games invented by an indie developer, as mentioned in FNAF Help Wanted. Never happened... (jk, more like sweeped under the rug, but still.)
And the lore found throughout the mall suggests that there's been many problems and lawsuits because of lack of safety; so it does makes sense to have a ton of security bots - especially with a "thief/intruder" in a bunny suit running around and since it is the night shift.

Honestly, genius move by Moondrop. He knew Gregory had eyes on him and just acted like his AI was zonking out so the kid would let his guard down. 4D Chess right there.
I have to say, the opening cutscene I think is the best part of the game. It absolutely NAILS the vibe that they were going for.

Does he actually get hacked? In all the endings I've seen he either escapes with Gregory or ends up disassembled. Including the ending where Glitchtrap v2.0 ends up in the fire with Molten(?) Freddy.

I *adore* the way they scaled the environments in this game, everything looks too big and bright and cavernous, it looks like a nightmare version of how big malls/playplaces/etc. feel as a small child. Fells very liminal.
SPOILER WARNING:
Ikr. Not everything about this game was stellar like the bugs and the afton boss fight, but the world, they music, the afton ending, it’s so amazing O can’t call the game bad. I’d give it a 7.5 out of ten for good gameplay and a stellar world but everything else is a mixed bag.

I love the 80s vibes. I was born in the 2000s, but where I'm from, people are pretty much still living in the 80's. Granted, this turns its ugly side alot of the times (with arrogance, an inability to accept the new generation, etc etc) but I actually feel really nostalgic for these things because they were elements of my childhood too:D I love all the movies, music, aesthetics, and I just like the style as a whole.

ohhh that's neat. i'm rewatching the series from the start cause i kept trying to watch it at night & falling asleep lol. but that means RUIN (spoilers i guess if you somehow haven't seen ruin yet) is fresh in my mind and the ending whenever the mimic is copying gregory it *literally* steals that exact line & the way gregory says is when he tells freddy "ugh the stupid door is stuck". didn't notice that it's the same exact clip that cassie hears at the end, that's a nice little tie in. ☺️☺️

No wonder Freddy wasn't affected... his software crashed onstage and he rebooted in SAFE MODE.
Safe Mode is a barebones minimum version of an OS, literally running an OS on the most skeletal amount of programming necessary. If there's an outside or third party program running, it'll often be disabled by simply never having booted up due to not being in the absolute critical read-only core files Safe Mode only accesses.
So if, say, a virus hijacks your computer, booting in Safe Mode can oftentimes bypass it and allow it to function normally, which gives YOU the chance to run scans, data repairs, resets, and whatever to try and fix it and eradicate the virus.
I'm saying, Glamrock Freddy has the virus, but since he booted in Safe Mode, it's just harmlessly in his unaccessed data files and not actually affecting him until he does a full bootup. Which is why he's not hostile... ALL the animatronics are usually as friendly as Freddy, but the virus is altering their programming because they are in FULL BOOT MODE.
makes me wonder if he'll realize he's in safe mode and go to do a full boot and gets caught by whatever drove the others berserk, so you don't have him to help anymore.

I just beat this game a couple days ago. Its fun, frustrating, but fun.
When you first get Freddy out if his room, abd go back to look at the other animatronics, they're...well, they just seem very off.
Plus don't leave the Daycare unless you get the item in there. If you don't, you'll need a glitch to get back inside.
I'm depressed and don't feel safe at home sometimes and watching markaplier makes me feel safe :)
