to be fair that was more skill based and stationary, this game is open world and extremely dark without adjusting your settings
@@kazuo635 I guess I can't knock on Mark for missing that. I remember WAY back, when playing Star Wars: Dark Forces, that sewer mission and going around in circles and I would always enter a room that looked empty, but there was a receding stairwell against the wall on the other side of the room and graphics being what they were back in 1993-1995, you couldn't see the stairwell unless you were literally on top of it. The layout of the brick walls perfectly matched the brick walls inside the stair well and there was no shading effect to give it a 3D dimension. It was basically the optical illusion from Last Crusade where Indy couldn't see the invisible bridge until he was right on it.

Chica's AI is horribly broken. She teleports, she runs way too fast, she teleports, she can grab you through walls, she TELEPORTS
The wall thing is a bug, the teleport thing I can explain. The way the zones are designed, each area has its own Chica. Kinda like how each area in Pokemon Sun/Moon has its own set Lillie/Hau etc
She also teleports.
Seriously broken, but the game just released so we’ll have to give them time to fix all the bugs
From a gameplay perspective, she teleports to punish you for running around and ignoring stealthy gameplay. She has to teleport since she is the only enemy that can punish you, as opposed to other games where multiple enemies can be alerted around the map when you break stealth.

He has met most of the actual threats before, via other games. He has never met the non-hostile enemies outside of this game.
Think of it as a hunter, would they be more afraid of an alien they have zero knowledge of (even if friendly) or a moose they know is hostile, but knows what to expect.
