    Thank you. I have the same problem on #5. Working on pulling the motor R360

      I guess it’s more tricky on R series because lacking of space under the hood.

    so i took of the intake this morning and there is oil, do you know how i can fix this? thank you!

    • @HETPEZB
      @HETPEZB  Год назад

      I’m not sure, but I think PCV /oil separator could be faulty. The black thing on the passengers side head in the back of the motor.

    • @jasoncruz3237
      @jasoncruz3237 Год назад

      i think there is something but the PCV i already changed, while i had the intake off there was lots of oil coming out the gaskets, also when i look in to the block i see oil sitting on the back of the valves the intake it self had lots of oil inside, its looking like it maybe pointing to the piston rings, there is a Blow-by happen. the oil stick doesnt pop out of its place.... Really appericate your replys by the way Thank you

      Try to do a compression test as well as a leak down test. Should give you then an idea, if the rings are bad. Leak down test I guess is even more important than compression.

      its all back together all i could do was clean the intake as there was the oil issues hopefully from before but now all clean, my last opyion is now its back toghter do an engine oil flush just in case there is a block passage and the pressure test, if rings are needed can the up oil pan be removed from under the car to get to the pistons and i pull them out from the top?.

    great videos!! at the moment i bought same clk 350 with burning oil issues im getting oil puddles sitting on top of all 6 pistons, i stripped down to as far as the stem valve seals while engine still in car, put it back together but again oil has returned to all 6 cylinders do you think all 6 pistion oil rings have failed?

    • @HETPEZB
      @HETPEZB  Год назад +1

      Are you sure the oil goes through the pistons and not from intake?

    • @jasoncruz3237
      @jasoncruz3237 Год назад

      @@HETPEZB im not sure all i know is i removed all spark plugs and put the scope down to check all the cylinders and each one had oil puddle sitting on each one, what do you recommend for my next step? iwas going to strip back down but this time remove cylinder head but i dont think i need to because im sure the headgasket if fine as there is no oil/water mixing anywhere in the system.

    • @jasoncruz3237
      @jasoncruz3237 Год назад

      i do have pictures of the amount sitting on top if you like to see, do you mean coming from the intake valves?

    • @jasoncruz3237
      @jasoncruz3237 Год назад

      also looking at the the top of the head in your video compared to mine is worlds apart, yours are so clean! so far its had new valve stem seals, new pcv.

      i was also think to pull the engine and put a clk55 block which i can get but im not sure if the 7g trans from mine will marry the 55 block.

    i just donated my clk350, should be on copart soon. let me know if you get one from california

    • @HETPEZB
      @HETPEZB  Год назад

      The shipping from California is too expensive to get to the east coast :) probably close to $1.5-2k. Why did you donate your CLK?

      @@HETPEZB transmission needed rebuild and parts are expensive or unavailable, the dash instrument cluster stopped working, engine has balance shaft issue, other stuff, basically it would cost less to buy another car.
