One of ABBA´s best songs - and one of Popmusics greatest classics! And the emotions it brings at the ABBA Voyage concert in London as it ends the show are hard to describe! I was there a month ago and it was one of the highlights of the show! Amazing!!!
I intentionally avoid to get aware of the tracklist till i get there, even though i know most of the songs being included. But having TWTIA near the end i understand why i read comments by people stating they end up in tears.Oh my.....
Absolute Masterpiece! Björn lyrics... 👌 Agnetha awesome leading vocals... 👌 Benny on amazing piano...👌 Frida backing vocals...👌 SOLID BREAKUP HIT! ❤️🅰️🅱️🅱️🅰️! Take care... See ya! Love ❤️ from Chile 🇨🇱🤗👍
I remember the first time i ever heard this song. It was a Sunday morning after a party the night before. People were slowly coming to life with hangovers and it was announced on the radio 'this is the new song from ABBA and Agnetha has never sounded so good'. I shouted for hush in the room and listened quietly. When it finished the kitchen was still quiet and I said 'OMG thats stunning'. I made my excuses and ran upstairs, locked myself in the bathroom and cried.
ps. needless to mention how i felt when the 'waiting was over" back on 2nd Sept.'21.My eyes were burning and got dried from the tears. And it double happened when the new album blasted to no1 almost everywhere! That magical 'adrenalized' feeling is unforgetable.
....anounced on the radio''this is the new Abba song...."My Godness. That phrase was always giving me a sheer excitement back then whenever a dj was anouncing and playing the 'new ABBA song"!.I recall the feeling of euphoria in autumn '79 when i unsuspiciously got presented to the 'new' Abba single 'Gimme,Gimme,Gimme".I nearly swooned
Simply Stunning❤......Björn apparently wrote this song in the throes of his breakup and ultimate divorce from Agnetha. She was reportedly mortified that he wanted her to sing it, but he insisted that she had to...and that her genuine emotions would bring an extra level to her performance.

Fantastic vocals, my favourite song of all time
One of my favourites. Another is The Day Before You Came. Love ABBA.
This is the song that made me a forever ABBA fan.
That was one of the best reactions I've ever seen to this song.

From their last album, "The Visitors", listen to the title trak "The Visitors" is completely different from what you've heard so far
There is a magnificent recent cover by Allie Sherlock worth checking out imo
It's actually not "Winner Takes All"
it's "The Winner Takes It All"
just how it's written there...

This is a real-life song about their relationships within the group and the switches that took place between them.
No , you aré absolutly wrong in all
Don't lie about ABBA and their personal life

but your words aren't the same of these cited
although they didn't switch within the band. Two couples became four people. They didn't just swap partners or anything like that.
@@terrykemp1876 Yes that's the accurate discription.
Please react to Bee Gees Too Much Heaven.
Try the name of the game!!
this really happened to her.
sure you probably have heard a couple songs from them you just did not know who it was
This song along with others around this time will not be respected or loved properly unless you lived the years.
FFS let more than three words pass before stopping the song. You can't react to something you don't hear a complete phrase of!
