It actually does have a lift in addition to the factory air suspension. We used the Rock Road Outfitters 2.5" lift kit. This part of the build was fairly inexpesensive. Unless the price changed, it was about $1000 for the kit. We modfied it for use with the air lift system by welding a second sensor tab to the passenger control arm. The install only took a few hours, very straightforward.
@@JeepWL4xEBuild-zo2dl Looks great. I've contacted River Adventure for a quote to get the lift installed (I'm also in AZ). Can you elaborate a little more on the box weld work needed? Thanks a lot.
Hi @arniecabral, Regarding the box weld modification, it depends on your tire size. I wanted a 34" tire, so River removed the box weld and cleaned up the rest of the wheel well. The guys at River did all of that work, so you are in good hands; they can walk you through all the decision points. Curious, what are you looking to do with the wheel tire package?
@@JeepWL4xEBuild-zo2dl after seeing your jeep, I definitely want to do the 34” on either 18x9 or 17x9 KMCs. Leaning 18s so I don’t need to shave calipers. RRO kit has been ordered, and a local shop going to do the lift (River Outdoors quoted an outrageous price to do install on a non air ride, so won’t be taking it there unfortunately). That means we will need to figure out the box weld (hammer down?) and wheel well cutting on our own. Thanks again for all the information.
@JeepWL4xEBuild-zo2dl also, your description says +12..did you mean -12? Also, is your model the L version? While I did buy the RRO kit, I am now noticing their site interchanges the L and non L models, so I have wrote them to confirm this will work on a non-L variant.
If only these were body on frame like the 4runners. It would be a beast.
looks great! Maybe a slight too much poke for me but thats personal preference. good stuff
Love it ❤
How did you do the lift with the Quadra-lift air suspension?
I have several other videos posted, one specfically addresses your quesiton. I believe it's called Round 3.
How much did you spend on the lift and installation
There is no lift installation, its factory air suspension

Hey do you have any rubbing?
No rubbing issues at all. Note: We did modify the box weld and inner-fender.
