Man lijiye apne kisi dukan pe 1000/- debit/credit card se payment Kiya. Ab us dukandar payment gateway company ko 1000/- ka 1% matlab 10/- ab tak deta tha. Ab se 10/- + gst 18% = 11.80/- Dena parega.18% gst ab tak 2000/- se jyada payment karnepar leta tha. Ye sabko pata nehi hai. That mean consumer will pay a total amount of Rs.45 (27+18) to the government on taxes and the actual value of good will be Rs.55. Delivery charges, handling charges, plateform fee, surge charges are excluded in it. Tax terrorism of Indian government is just started.

Simple explanation-
Suppose you have purchased a product of 2000rs, then you have to 0.5-2% payment gateway charges i.e. 40rs (@2%) and GST will levied on this 40rs i.e. 7.2, GST will not levied on 2000rs. Then 47.2 Rs you will have to pay.
