    Have you been using this with multiple docker containers or mobile dev and if yes, does mem usage turns to yellow or stays at green? I'm thinking of MBA M2 with 24gb ram 512gb ssd. I'm also not editing videos so maybe not going for Pro. Thank you.

    Good video bro I have wanted to get into game dev any suggestions on how to get started.Keep making vids you will become famous I just know it.

    • @si2
      @si2  Год назад +2

      I started by just downloading unity and making random projects to learn how it works. It’s great to hear that you want to get into it!!

    Hi , thanks for the video. I was wondering how it is performing in Unity. Would you recommend it for mobile game development and do you think 8gb would be enough for it? Thank you.

    • @si2
      @si2  2 года назад +1

      Hey, I actually used 8gb before, but I found it to not be enough, and now I use 16gb. I think 16gb is better for you. And yes, it is great for unity, it runs well.

      @@si2 Great, I was wondering the same thing! I think I will also get 512gb for future proofing. It gets expensive but I think this is the perfect everyday laptop. My father has the 14 inch macbook pro M1 and it’s quite bulky.

    • @si2
      @si2  2 года назад

      @@jonathansaindon788 Yes indeed, I have 512gb and I do think that is the perfect amount. It is also quite a bit thinner than the 14 inch M1 pro. Thank you for watching!!

    Hi, I have a question about my current laptop. Here are the specifications of my laptop: ASUS 15.6 OLED laptop - Intel Core i9 - NVIDIA RTX 3050 6GB with 16GB memory - 1TB SSD - black. However, I've been experiencing some issues within the first 2 months, such as encountering BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) for no reason and experiencing random restarts. This laptop cost me $1,200.
    Now, I'm considering getting a MacBook that can be used for both gaming and programming in Unity. Can you recommend a suitable MacBook model for these purposes?

    • @si2
      @si2  Год назад

      If you are using it for gaming, it is probably better for you to go with a windows laptop. But if I had to recommend a MacBook, the MacBooks pros with M2 pro have a 120hz screen and are pretty good at running games.

    hi.i'm going to buy a macbook for software development,school,daily work.I also want to start unity course in summer and develop a game.Is macbook air (16gb ram 512gb ssd) enough for all this work? or should i get macbook pro 14 base model (10cpu 16gpu 16gb ram 512gb ssd).The computer I will buy should last me for at least 5 years.(maybe 4).
    I don't know anything about macbooks.

    • @si2
      @si2  Год назад +2

      It’s actually a really good time to buy the 14 inch pro since it just got updated (a few weeks ago) and is using the new m2, if you have the budget, I would recommend the 14 inch pro.

    What about unity and unreal Engine running on it is it smooth 60fps capped?

    • @si2
      @si2  Год назад

      Yeah, I personally use Unity pretty often, and it runs very well without any performance issues, although unreal engine often struggles to even work at a usable fps. If you use unreal pretty often, then I would recommend an m2 pro device, otherwise m2 air is best. Thanks for watching!!
