4:43 Since you chose to upscale everything to 4k and not match resolution, your color settings will be whatever you select for 4K 23-30Hz. You will end up never having “non-4K”content (or at least that’s how it will perceive your content after upscaling), so you won’t be utilizing YUV 444 10bit on a 1080p movie. You would have to select “match framerate and resolution”.
Everything looks good to me with these settings. It's just personal preference.
Match framerate and resolution, isnt it better that zidoo detects resolution for example 1080p so tv it knows to upscale to 4k? Instead of using match framerate only?
To make sure I understand correctly, when the LLDV signal is activated on the content, is the video processor of the projector completely shut down? For example, on my Sony projector, would I still have the video processing result from the X1 Ultimate?
I wouldn't say it will completely shut down, but the tone mapping will be done on the source device, not on the projector.
@@fivelevels ok but for the rest, everything relating to image processing will still be carried out by the sony? like Digital Contrast Optimizer or Digital Focus Optimizer. i want to buy one but if all i got from my projector are deleted with this devise...

Hi, With the Zidoo Z2000 Pro after adding Movies, Custom Medidata & Poster Art, does the Media Player have a "TRUE OFFLINE MODE" ? Meaning full function & display of saved Movies including Posterwall, Custom Movie Medidata, seen state etc without the need of a internet connection ?

Fantastic, Thankyou ...Currently R_Volution new app for my Zappiti Neo does not support this. Im still running my Media Player in offline mode. I may have to switch to a Zidoo Z2000. (Especially if i want to put any new titles on there. Have you used a late model Zappiti, if so how does the Zidoo compare to Zappiti in picture & sound quality ?.

In reality it's offline only if you block network traffic. The device caches all of it's poster/metadata locally so it will work fine without an Internet connection. There's no special steps needed.
I do have 1 question. How you do the series on zidoo? That's the only problem I have. I already have them on the nas, but on zidoo shows as (a,b,c) and so on. I don't know what season and what episode I am looking atThanks.

If you are using an av receiver you should enable Volume Direct Mode so you aren't changing volume in two places.
It's personal preference, not mandatory.

@@fivelevels when did I say it was mandatory? I said you should enable it. Not even personal preference, there's no reason to be controlling the volume on the device and on the receiver. It just complicates things unnecessarily with two places where volume may be set.
How big external HDD can I connect to my Zidoo Z2000 Pro through the USB 3.0 port? 16 TB or 18 TB?

Hi, no, what I meant is if you're going to use a USB audio device like a USB headset or DAC, or any other related USB audio devices. This setting has nothing to do with external HDD.

I have the 5000. Does this device read external HDDs using USB 3.0 or 2.0? If so, mine isn't reading those devices.

Yes, my Z 1000 pro does have a usb 3.0 in and your 5000 also have one.
@@fivelevels yes I'm using that port to read my HDDs and flash drives but the internal Android software isn't showing the drive. Is there a settings that need to be adjusted??

@@fivelevels both. File manager, it's not discovering the inserted USB drive and in poster wall.

I would pick the Z2000 PRO over the Z2600. Because the price difference is for the extra HDMI-in (NOT OUT) port in the Z2600, which very few people need.

@manuelplb I don't pay much attention to the power supply details except the universal voltage part 100-240v to ensure that it works anywhere in the world.

@@surroundmax534 Go to settings > other > about > Advanced Settings > System > Advanced > Date & Time
Then enable Automatic date & time and select your time zone.
(Make sure your device is connected to the internet)
If the TV is only 1080p compatible whose settings to chose on the display menu?
Just put it on Auto

I Think that if the TV is only 1080p usualy it can play only contents up to 8 bits or 10 bits (I'm not shure) and this way we should chose some option so the player read the original video in dolby vision and deliver it to the standard mode of the TV which for 1080p I think it's HDR@@fivelevels
@@manuelplb I never in my life have seen a 1080p Full HD TV that supports HDR and Dolby Vision.

i am using Zidoo UHD 5000 i think 4k 50_60hz 10 bit / 4k 23_30hz 10 bit / non - 4k 8 bit is better settings for Zidoo
