    Nice rebuild!
edit: My dad is a car painter, and the first thing he ever taught me about painting is to never change orientation. In your case the stripe was caused by running around the bonnet to get it painted from the other side. That either meant you couldnt fully paint that stripe or the color particles had a different orientation.
In his shop, my dad uses stands that the bonnet hook into so its hanging vertically and thus being much easier to paint. Dont get discouraged. Painting just needs tons of prep and a clean working environment.

Ah very interesting. I thought about trying to hang it but I was scared of getting runs so I just laid it flat. Thanks for the comment.

@@AlwaysBored123 Shouldnt be scared about it, because you paint it thin enough with some cure time in between layers that its not going to run. It requires some practice but everyday you learn something.

Not a bad car , I never had a vehicle that got more then 20 mpg lol , I have a 2011 Crown Vic that averages 20 and my 2015 Tacoma the best it ever got is 18 . I had to replace the exact same body parts when I got mine but painted it in a dirt floor barn with spray bombs and I know nothing about painting cars , luckly its white and ya cant tell how bad it is from a distance .

That's awesome. This was the first time I've painted anything other than spray cans. Let's just say I learned a lot lol.

@AlwaysBored123 the stuff that got left in it was the bad stuff. That thing was slam packed full of tools of all kinds. Heath had a field day pulling them out.

The parts vehicle was half price from all of the tools.

Man I looked high and low for matching factory panels and I couldn't find any anywhere. Plus I needed that frame weldment anyway so I just did it this way.
