I recently made my first braggot. I enjoyed it and tasted very cider-like? And the clarity was amazing even with the first one two weeks after bottling. It was a 50/50 blend of wildflower and orange blossom honey.
The concentrated honey won't naturally ferment due to the extreme osmotic pressure - it's a stone-cold yeast killer! I'm kinda surprised it didn't gradually dissolve into the wort/must though. Ah well, sounds like a delicious and happy accident!
@@GreigMcGill I wonder if given enough time, that honey blob (my current nickname) would be consumed by the yeast. Maybe the yeast finally ran out of steam.
Come for the beer, stay for the dad jokes. Great video guys! Thanks!
Great video again guys, I'm going to make one myself now.
