- I was among the first in the world to test out a ridiculous minigun Nerf doesn’t have - and it is nuts. The best X shot is the vigilante, if only they had used just one barrel, and designed a pump action auto loader and used the lower as storage it would be perfect.

Honestly, while I like the blaster, the Crusher seems like it would benefit from having a large drum to feed from rather than a chain. For instance, I’ve never really liked the Magnum Superdrum because it was an ergonomic mess due to the drums size, and the drum wasn’t held in really solidly either. This, on the other hand, would benefit largely from having drum due to it being out of the way underneath the blaster, while still being much easier to load than a chain. I get that the chain looks cool, more resembling an actual minigun, but I’m thinking more practically. Overall a cool blaster I may pick up! Great vid btw!

It’s decent, but occasionally I find it get jammed or the reloading gets stuck. I brought it to a nerf war and ended up using my side grade most of the time

For me, the reason I don't like this blaster, or honestly, any dart minigun, is the slow fire rate and fact that the projectile comes from the center of the barrels and not the barrels.
In practice it should be easy, but I guess there too many factors against mass production of a proper minigun.

The Nerf Rival Prometheus kinda feels like a Warhammer 40k Heavy Bolter and i really like its performance and insane ammo capacity.
What they need now is for them to make dart m249s or other belt fed guns. Make the belt removable, give the consumer a second belt, and make it somewhat speedy to load the darts. Also, battery powered to give it a reasonable fire rate without burning through ammo.
Do all that and profit.

Since this gun is so frustrating to reload, I've come up with a war plan
Primary Gun: Your Primary of Choice
Sidearm: Your Pistol of Choice
and finally, your Thirdary weapon (as in secondary but for 3): The X-Shot Crusher

X-Shot may be a budget version of Nerf but they are definitely some serious competition when it comes to performance, aesthetics, and affordability for their products. They're also generous with how much ammo is included with their guns.

There was a nerf gun that was similar to a mini gun. I think it was called hailfire. It holds up to 8 magazines that you pulled a lever to swap between. The lever part barely worked half the time though

I've seen mini dart guns similar to this. The vulcan, 2 by buzz bee, air zone's punisher, & adventure forces Enforcer (has the closest resemblance)

The good thing is because it's slam fire, it will be faster than most full auto chain blasters and it doesn't need to be reved or batteries so it's win win. Can't wait!

To fix the reloading just buy 2 crushers now you have 2 belts disconnect the first belt then place the 2nd faster loading now

My friend had a red version of The X-Shot Crusher I think, I liked it, but I was very sad when I found out it wasn't full-auto, and you had to fire using a handle prime. But hey, I'm grateful that this spectacular gun exists...
Although there is the Nerf Titan, a minigun in the Nerf company, full-auto, *50 round dart drum.* It is a little expensive, sure, but if you want a full auto minigun-style blaster, the Titan is all I can think of.

I had the Nerf chain gun as a kid, it wasn't cheap and ate through batteries like i did sugary cereal lol
Even then when the batteries got low the firerate and power was severely reduced, you could still manually chamber each round, but only with a tiny knob on the side so you weren't very maneuverable.
Due to this it didnt see much action action and that bothered me, i never got to use it as much as i should have...
But that's all in retrospect, however i know if i had this blaster instead it would have also been the crown jewel of my collection except ide actually use it ALL THE TIME.
And ide still have the chain gun to hope for, and if i did get it, the mini gun would be there for those dark days without batteries lol

the reload issue could be fixed if the belt was removable and zuru sold separate belts so you could just take the old belt out and put the new one in
U just don't connect the belt u leave it hanging let it fall out after the 35 bullets refill put it back in and off u go again

It be even more cool if they actually came out of the other barrels instead of a middle barrel. And the fact that you have to Cock it for every shot just completely defeats the purpose of it being a minigun.
I still await the day my childhood dream can come true of getting an actual foam blaster minigun. One that actually keep spinning when you hold down the trigger even if you need a battery, and actually has the darts come out of the other bears instead of a middle one.
For me the biggest steelmaker would be just having to Cock it every single time. It's not even a machine gun, the mini gun parts are a hundred per-cent aesthetic.
agreed. they might aswell just have removed the spinning barrel and added one long barrel in the middle. the spinning barrel is afterall purely for looks and serve no purpose.

The crusher jams so often
I like this the blaster, but i wish it was completely full auto and wish it could have snap together belts to make reloading faster by replacing the belts and making it longer.

I could honestly not give a shit about reloading, it comes with the territory of these types of toys, but what I would have really liked to see is some type of small motor that allowed you to hold down the trigger and continuously fire rather than having to cock it with every shot
If you could remove the belt and get more, you could just keep several with you and quickly change them out. That would be epic
they should make a motorized version of the crusher for full heavy status
