@@YaleAppliance1 The new self-diagnostics are neat. It doesn't need to be IOT for that. A unit can report logs and check components without being on the Internet. As a former network admin I don't want my appliances on the Internet. My gripe with appliances specifically, is the focus on form over function. Before major appliances focus on surfing the Internet, the main focus should be on making the item last at least 15 years.
I just paid almost $2000. For this stove, worst purchase I’ve ever made. My belly keeps turning the eyes on and causing the screen control panel to go crazy as if I was rubbing my hands over it like a child would do. I can’t cook at a distance. I couldn’t get the oven controls to prompt so I couldn’t change the temp of the oven. Every video I watched was for a different oven. There isn’t any tuts for this stove only videos that tell me what it looks like and what it can do without tell me how. Customer service kept sending me worthless videos that didn’t tell me anything regarding how to operate it. Manual was worthless too. Tells you to turn off oven and set temp, it did nothing, even with oven on. Air fryer doesn’t get food crispy just hard. And they say so in this video: ruclips.net/video/CkkzCtPWeIY/видео.html The air fryer is the main reason I choose this stove. Oven light keeps flickering on and off.
Can you review the gas version of this?
Does it have venting
No, it does not have a ventilation system.
Is this the LG Studio range?
No, this is the new electric range they are keeping in their mainline.
I do not want my oven to become an IOT. Why would ANYONE want that?
The service aspect is interesting....machine self diagnosing itself
