I’ve never worked in business before in my entire life (Was an athlete, than archaeology, I’ve had a weird path) and I’m about to start as an advisor at a mutual company. I’ve passed my health and life exam but it’s been daunting to think about as of recent. I start in a month or so but thank you for inspiring more hope in me and reminding me why I took this job. I want to help people, and connect with people, as well as feeling like I’m putting out the best effort in a day I can achieve.
I love your videos - thanks for sharing your thoughts. How much of being a Financial Advisor is selling insurance? My fear is that I will be hired by a firm and forced into selling insurance policies rather than work with clients toward their goals. Is there a way to avoid the first route?

Yea there is; You don’t have sell products you don’t want to.
