WhetstoneWays I could agree, but why is everyone always talking about Parker & Koe. Doesn’t make sense

Mind blowing song and lyrics. I only think of one man that I gave my heart to when I hear this song so I’m taking the stance for the woman’s version of this song. I’ve made a lot of changes along the way struggling with anxiety and depression my whole life from child hood traumas relationship traumas and I had triggers that spun my depression and anxiety out of control. So I’m glad I started my journey when we finalized the divorce last year 2021. It takes maturity to realize we both were wounded souls that loved each other but didn’t know how to control our own issues. I just new I needed to do the work and be the best version of me, I was tired of feeling the way I felt every day and knew I was the #1 reason for feeling it I allowed people to make me feel unworthy and not loved or valued. Now my depression and high anxiety is now nonexistent! You don’t see it in the moment but the worst pain can be your blessing you may not understand why it happened while it brings you to your knees and forces you find your happiness within one day at a time. I set hard line boundaries with my loved ones and did a-lot of self talk to be gentle with my own heart and soul and mind and changed my mind set and started to do self love self care and realized along the way my own worth and I learned to not need validation or love from anyone to exist here 🥰 I don’t allow people to cross the line with me anymore……I know who I am now 🥰

I totally agree the music I’ve heard in the last month has been some of the best I’ve heard in the last 10years and it’s all artists that I didn’t really know.. I feel like i did as a kid growing up.. it’s an amazing feeling!

Is there also a reference to the Ray LaMontagne song, "Jolene", or am I reaching?

Jason Bragg yeah, you’re right. “I still don’t know what love means” is a line from “Jolene”.

Ray LaMontagne? “I still don’t know what love means “ man that hurt me… This song speaks to me on a cellular level! Sooo many mistakes but I’m learning.
