Dottie Parton condensation does not come from within. It is moisture drawn to the cold surface of the cup. It only collects on the outside. Epoxy can get wet. It’s ok
When I first started I didn't have a Cup Turner. I did the hang method and the big bottles of bubbles from the dollar store works great for the 30 oz tumbler and a spray paint can works for the 20 oz
Love this! Another idea, that I personally use, is the dental pack from DT. You can use the tongue scraper for scraping the fine details and also the pic for weeding. Then I use the toothbrush for flicking paint.....so I feel like I get my money's worth
I love how you explain everything and cover what I would ask. Thank you for this and all other videos. I’m a newbie so I’m totally trying this hang method.
Loved the tutorial, the colors are so pretty together, i have some plastic tumblers but have been afraid to try epoxy and glitter on them but your tutorials give me the confidence to try them thank you so much❤️
I love the tissue paper Idea. I bought a bunch of these $1 tree water bottles in all colors. I just haven't gotten to working on them yet. Thank you again for your video I love watching them.
Deni Lavergne-Chamberlain yay!!! Check out my other tutorials and join my FB group! The link is in the drop down menu! This is such a rad hobby to get into!
Glad I came accross this video. I bought several plastic tumblers from Wally World this summer and I was just going to lightly etch them to get the glitter to adhere better but I like the idea of the tissue paper.
Don't be afraid to use transfer paper, that's what it's made for! And one little trick: when you work tissue paper, just tear it instead of cutting it with scissors. The edges won't show cause the fibers will lay down prettier! 😁 Where do you get your epoxy? I find it pretty expensive ......everywhere I've checked 🤐 Nice work and good explanations !
The tumbler came out pretty!! That hang method intimidates me! 😂I would be so nervous that I wouldn’t know how many layers of epoxy to apply😩😂thanks for sharing!!
Dollar tree sells Mod Podge and Alene’s tacky glue. That dollar tree glue is always dried out every time I bought it. However the dollar tree glitter is the bomb I wish they sold more colors. This water bottle is fire 🔥!!
I always enjoy watching your videos... I wish I could come watch you in person and maybe make a tumbler together. Keep doing what you do... you’re awesome!!
Im a stay at home mom I would love to try this out, thank you for your video, I would love to see more affordable tutorials like this:) Edit: subscribed right away!!
@LittleLee and Rose, Great video! This is my second or third time watching it. How has Ms. Debbie's water bottle held up since you gave it to her about 6 months ago? Still going strong? Any usage or washing tips; any do's or don't's I can learn from or be aware of before endeavoring this for my daughter? Thanks! (Asking and varifying because the gal that does our metal bottles swears epoxy won't stick to plastic.)
At first I thought this was too long to watch. I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed your tutorial from beginning to end, and learned quite a bit! #newsubscriber 🤗
Hi! This turned out so fun! I love the afffect of the turquoise paper! Still? I'm super curious about what your original idea was going to be. Also, would something like this work without the tissue paper, if you left the clear bottle exposed, only added glitter and then applied the epoxy? Would the epoxy help create a window affect on the transparent bottle, with or without glitter, but probably with?
Thank you for this video. Subscribed! I am a newbie and learned a lot! I bought supplies to make my first tumbler, not knowing it could be done with 1.00 plastic tumblers. 💖
And join my FB group! Tons of help and support! I also am starting to add my designs to the group files! The link to join is in the drop down menu under each of my tutorials!
Super cool and practical. Just one question.... In most of your videos I notice you list a rotary drill. What is that used for? I ordered one from Amazon after watching one of your videos but never seen where you used it. Thanks in advance.
Trenell Evans I go live in my FB group and show how to do repairs and fix issues! It will be your beeeeest friend! A bun lands on your epoxy you can remove it with the drill! Screw up a decal that is sealed under epoxy? Grind it out with the drill, replace it and epoxy over it!
Do you have to worry about the cup sweating if you put in a very cold drink on a hot day? I don't know much about resin and I wonder if the condensation would affect it negatively. Love this tutorial seeing as I am just starting out and the supplies can definitely get expensive. Thank you!
Great tutorial! Just wondering if the hang method causes it not to be as smooth as with the spinner. It was hard to tell if it was smooth due to the tissue paper technique. Tfs! It looks fun but too pricy for me to start a new hobby so I will watch others! Your turned out beautifully! tfs! Hugs- Christine
What epoxy do you use? Could you post a link to one you like? I've been reading reviews on some and it says they yellow over time? I'm going to attempt my fist project with it so I'm not sure which to use.
Shannah Shaver all the supplies and links to purchase (I found links with very good prices) are in the description in the drop down menu under the video😉
And you need an actual Chemical VOC mask. The one I gave you the link to is the exact same one as mine (but this one is even less expensive than where I bought mine!)
Carolyn Hollingsworth whoever told you that doesn’t understand science. That’s not how condensation works lol ... it is on the outside only . Epoxy can get wet. It’s ok
This is adorable! I've never done this, and your video just came up on my suggested list. Could I use decal letters from dollar tree? I don't have anything to cut letters out.
9 layers of epoxy? Is that typical for hang method cups? I'm interested in trying this but I know I don't have enough time for that many layers and dry/cure time in between each...
Yes ,it takes more layers. If you want it to be a faster process grab a turner and you can do 2+ layers to complete because you can use more epoxy www.littleleeandrose.com/product/littlelee-and-rose-cup-turner
Would you be able to share here or on your Facebook page about your business how you got started. What you charge and any tips for someone starting out? All of your videos are very original, efficient and informative
Loved the video!!! Question for you. By chance have you ever used the wall decalsfrom the dollar store? I don't have a vinyl machine yet and wanted to try something like this.
My daughter made two from dollor general the clear cast made a bubble all around the bottom before I try how do you keep it from doing that it's like the epoxy works it self to bottom and builds up
After carefully looking into this I would block your pets from the curing session. maybe put the spinner in your bathroom with the door closed. (heat will help the cure time) can your use your bedroom and open the windows with the door closed? If so, I would make your bedroom area a work area as well. Just a suggestion from a small space crafter. Take into consideration that pet hair will move in the air and your item(s) may attract the pet hair. There is really a space for crafters in small spaces if you think outside the box. Good luck and Happy Crafting.
How does the cup hold up with condensation from cold drinks forming on the outside of the cup? Will that make the epoxy separate from the cup?
Dottie Parton condensation does not come from within. It is moisture drawn to the cold surface of the cup. It only collects on the outside. Epoxy can get wet. It’s ok
LittleLee and Rose do you have a link for the bottles?

I love the tissue paper Idea. I bought a bunch of these $1 tree water bottles in all colors. I just haven't gotten to working on them yet. Thank you again for your video I love watching them.
So cute. Easy idea for Christmas. I have triplets too but mine just turned 28. Miss my littles though. Enjoy them, they grow-to fast.
Another awesome tutorial. I’m expecting my supplies from Amazon today. Maybe this is cup to start with. I really appreciate your neat working area.
That is so cute! I've never done the hang method & am fairly new at customizing tumblers and am finding your videos so helpful! Thank you!!
Dollar store has paper towel holders that work well.
Diane Humphrey why didn’t I think to bring out my paper towel holder? Thanks for the idea lol

I really like how this turned out!
I can't wait to try this with tan glitter to make a beach scene.

Just fyi i used that contact paper and also use the clear one as transfer tape and works good. Thanks for your video.

When u do a cup with the hang down method, do u still need to torch it to pop bubbles?
Does the epoxy have an effect on the plastic? Does it penetrate?

Bravo... Bravo!! great job sis
My first experience with glittering & epoxy was an epic FAIL. lol. I'm here to see the technique you used. Maybe I'll try again one day.
I've never used epoxy before. Where do you buy it at and what kind do you use? What kind of mask do you wear, just a regular paper one?
Shannah Shaver all the supplies and links to purchase (I found links with very good prices) are in the description in the drop down menu under the video😉
And you need an actual Chemical VOC mask. The one I gave you the link to is the exact same one as mine (but this one is even less expensive than where I bought mine!)

Can you please show how to diy glitter Starbucks tumbler?
I've never commented, but I really enjoyed your video. Thank you. I wanna try this.
Thanks for the tips!
I adore your wall background!!! What is it? How did you do it?
Rachel Kwasniak wallpapered!
I loved this video, thank you!
You can use clear contact paper to transfer that! It works just fine!!
Dollar store napkin holder the wire type) can be used as drying rack
Thank you for sharing. you teach well
Maybe I missed something, but what is the purpose of the paper on the plastic tumbler. Is it just for the color?
Nikki Robinson yo add color and make it opaque not transparent. It is just for texture and color but you don’t have to use it!
@@LittleLeeandRose oh ok.. Thank you
awesome cup but i was told that you could not epoxy or glitter a cup that was not double walled. because of the condensation. is this true?
Carolyn Hollingsworth whoever told you that doesn’t understand science. That’s not how condensation works lol ... it is on the outside only . Epoxy can get wet. It’s ok
@@LittleLeeandRose ty for the quick responce i will try one . again ty

Rubbing alcoholic spritz it on
Does it look just as nice without the decal?
Love this video first timer here ☺️

Katie Lee yes absolutely! I do all the time!
Join my FB group! Lots of support and inspiration! The link is in the drop down menu under the tutorial!
would you be able to just use glitter glue for top and bottom.
How long do you wait in between the layers of hang method before adding another layer of epoxy
Does this method create air bubbles at all? Or do you pop them while you are pushing the epoxy down?
Sarah Miller I have not had an issue with bubbles because the layer of epoxy is too thin for bubbles but if you have an issue you can torch it
9 layers of epoxy? Is that typical for hang method cups? I'm interested in trying this but I know I don't have enough time for that many layers and dry/cure time in between each...

I had no clue about the tissue paper!
great video =)
one other question..... is the tissue paper necessary for the glittered tumbler? What is the difference when you do not use tissue paper?
Your page is awesome!!! So glad I found it!!! 🤩
So cool
Thank you for this video. You made it look not as scary. Lol where do you get the epoxy from? Do you have a specific brand?
Steph Berti You can get it the craft store, like Michael’s, Joann or Hobby Lobby
Love it
How long do you wait before adding more coats of epoxy?
