Before we knew my mom was really sick, my blind BFF brought her guide dog with her to visit. That dog would NOT leave my mom alone. My mom's kidneys had given out. She was turning septic. Years later, my brother was in the same position as our mom had been. We had 2 pet dogs by then. Both of them practically smothered my brother. When we finally got my brother to the doctor, they sent him to the hospital. He refused an ambulance, and I drove him there. When we arrived, late because he wouldn't go in right away, they'd reassigned his ICU room, because they thought he hadn't made it. That was 2 years ago. My brother isn't "healthy". But he's still very much alive, when they kept only giving him weeks to months to live. Our dogs pushed him to get help. Dogs are miracles. I believe God places them in our lives to help us, even when we don't realize we need the help. 💜💜💜
I totally agree. We've had dogs that try to cure or family members by taking on their illnesses, unfortunately they cannot take it away from the human but believe The dogs feel this is their job in life. And probably help to some degree

I heard a story of a man who had a heart attack and he was out with his dog when it happened and they were out in the woods and his dog drug him to help and saved his life. And some ppl think animals are dumb, Pooh. I just love these story's.
I always said no to my kids wanting a dog. At 16 years old I finally told my daughter yes. O Lord how I love Mona my pit bull baby girl. She softened my heart. I was so frustrated and focused on life’s problems. Slowly circumstances changed and my love for Mona was instant and deep.

We had a dog who absolutely thought he was a mailman. He would play around until we got mail. He would take that mail nd sit next to it until our dad came home. No one was allowed to touch it until dad came home. Lol even if it didn't belong to dad.
Your dog "new" that you had a dis-ease and she also knows that you are "greatful" for her saving you life... that is the beauty of animals... THEY KNOW... because THEY are NOT obstructed by MIND... they are just PURE LOVE AND CARING....
For me God spelt backwards is Dog... And dogs have highly developed senses... There is nothing they can't sense from danger to a bad person. Dogs are the greatest gift to man with their unswerving loyalty, love and eternal faithfulness. Nothing like a dog. Nothing like animals. We need to be more sensitive loving n compassionate to all beings and exist in harmony together.

Absolutely. .. Pay attention to what your pets tell you. It's not enough for them to understand just our words and commands. It is also imperative we understand their body language and their expressions. Communication has to work both ways.

9 years ago I was feeling exhausted with pressure in the middle of my chest. For 3 days my terrier Angel jumped on the bed during my siesta and put both paws right there. I asked her to stop because it was painful. Then I had the heart attack - emergency surgery at 11 p.m., 4 bypasses. Angel knew.
Serendipity moments, found a dog on the side of the road at 2 am! Tick infested, shoestring around her neck, we weren't able to keep,BUT GOD HAD OTHER PLANS, 3 months later, after hiding her in plain site, we brought a house we weren't have been looking for, EXCEPT WE want to keep the dog!! Sheriff sale house, Barn close to town, 25 years later still ❤️ ING THE HOME all because of the DOG!
Cancer even before you say... because I had a white German Shepherd dog do the same thing and it was skin cancer years before I actually was diagnosed. The dog owners both said the dog had done that to several people they knew with resulting medical conditions that were unknown to prior. For someone whose mother called her Dr. Doolittle you sure didn't have a clue of Mia's message. Why not a steak and not the poisoning pancake?
Cancer don't discriminate nor needs no invitation, my Aunty had a double mastectomy and fought that disease for over 14yrs and finally lost her battle when it spread all over!!! 😢😢😢
We now know that dogs can in fact detect when something's amiss in the body. Nobody seems to know why..but isn't it wonderful that Mia was able to do this for her beloved human??

Cancer smells like a baby. The reason is the cells grow Rapidly, like a baby, and they produce a chemical that creates that smell. My spouse had a cancer that I could smell in the Lymph glands.

When will people understand dogs have special senses? That is why they are used for rescue and to help police force and in the army .. They are now being trained to help diabetics and alert patients just before their blood sugar levels drop. Dogs have alerted owners about house fires, babies in danger etc. When your dog is behaving strangely and out of the ordinary - know your dog is desperately trying to convey something to you.
