A man who loved God and planted seeds in a good heart to impact new generation. Wonderful God, beautiful people. Mr. King is a peacemaker. Thank you Mr. King, Thank you our Lord.
As a child who was born in 1950, I was always disturbed by seeing the "white only" signs or "colored entrance" at the movies. I could never figure out "why" & felt very sad. God bless this man for taking a stand!
I grew up in NW Louisiana. Prejudice and discrimination were very prevalent there. I was saddened by this. Where did some white people think it was o.k. to be so cruel to people who have different skin color? My God would NEVER treat any of His children like that!
If this child of God was still alive,i would tell him i love him and give him a big hug. i wish i had a earthly father like him to plant that seed of kindness and compassion in me as a child☝🙌🙏👊😇
I have seen this story done before but it remains one of the most beautiful stories. I too was blessed with a few people in my life as a child that truly made me a better person.
we live in a time that we need the storytellers, the dancers, the magicians, the rebels, the misfits and the choirboys :-) get it on babe, tell us your story
Joy to my heart. How many lives King is still touching, he touched mine today. King and the little boy who he taught to walk in the footsteps of our Lord. Thanks Mr. Walter.
this is what life is about ; until we learn how to love and respect ourselves , we can not love nor respect others , we only have one chance at this life and we are placed here to learn , as well as teach and love , respect others and forgive and until we learn what Mr.King taught and lived , we are alive and living in vain , Mr.King taught this young boy how to live life to the fullest and love and respect others and today this world lacks what Mr.King taught , and this world today needs more people like Mr.King …….. A TRUE MAN OF GOD , WE ALL NEED GOD , AMEN ….. THIS MADE ME SMILE AND CRY ….I PRAY THAT ONE DAY I SHALL MEET MR.KING IN HEAVEN WITH OUR FATHER JESUS , AMEN
i love this story it shows how kindness and acceptance of each other can move mountains, this mens kindness and time with this young boy made sure the boy turned into a kind young men .Clothes may maketh the man ,but love and kindness maketh a good man.
This is an awesome history - this is the second time I have watched it - it's no coincidence that this great man King Brooks shares that title with another very famous King . . .
What a amazing story, I kept tears. In this time of reality tv, and garbage I so wish they would start making ‘ Its a Miracle’ again. Always uplifting, as well as interesting. On a side note since discovering Its a Miracle on youtube I’ve shared with my 8 year old grandson and he loves it! So when he stays with me , before we fall asleep we watch 2-3 together. It’s been a amazing bonding tool and he falls asleep with the wonder of God on his mind.
My heart breaks 💔 I can't believe that life was this bad to African Americans 😢 Am so happy life's not like this anymore , How the African Americans went through this is sure a proven fact of faith! God bless them for overcoming this horrible injustice!
Wow. I can just imagine the great reunion of these two friends in heaven now. Their friendship blossoms even more in heaven. I should like to have the privilege to meet them when I get to heaven. Thank you so much for sharing this true story with such rare beauty.
Thanks for sharing that wonderful story...That's the way Jesus want's us to b.He preached to that extent, died, rose from the dead, sealing His love toward us! Shalom
What a wonderful story. I have a similar one. I remember the vegetable vendors coming by in their wagons. My special memory is of the young woman who babysat me and did ironing, misc. chores, etc. She would always buy us fruit or sugar cane. We especially loved the sugar cane! Being the only one not yet in school, she would walk me the few blocks between her house and mine, where I would play hopscotch and jump rope with the (then called colored) children in her neighborhood. Not once did I feel uncomfortable and always felt safe with her. She was so kind. She also attended the same church, however, she had to sit in the balcony. I wish I could remember her name but being so young at the time, sad to say, I don't. But I can still see her face and taste that sugar cane! I hope her life was blessed. ❤️
This story has made my heart open up a mile wide. It makes me want to talk to strangers more, and get to know my Brothers, and Sisters in Christ. I hope before I go I have a story to tell like this one
I have a similar story a lil different but never the less just as important . I am caucasian my dear friend/sister was one of the first 5 african Americans in our community of 1200 people in the 70s. At the time my mother was not only bipolar but was also dieing of cancer. My stepfather was turning on me due to my mother who was hard as heck on me was leaving me money in her will along with this my stepmother was bashing my mother and real father was trying and did get out of paying the remaining child support that he promised to honour the last 8 mos.I was dumbfounded by all of their behavior and it broke my heart over and over. My "Queen" and I did EVERYTHING together for years through high school and her mother ,an english teacher treated me like for the first time in my life, I was valued by having our prom dinner at there home by having my 18th birthday party ,and my first baby shower at their home. To this day I have never forgotten the love they gave me. When my dear friends father passed I had no way of attending his funeral until a bad storm hit and I prayed and found I had an extra day of vacation on my way turning back around to go to his service my friend his daughter broke down and was not able to make it not only did the pouring let up as I exited the freeway the sun shone through a perfect set of cloud shaped wings .The minister at the veterans memorial stated that this would be her 3rd srrvice for the day and each time she began the service it would stop pouring and the sun would shine. Today 40 years later we are still the dearest of friends and I thank god for her and her family everyday
This story is so priceless that I never want to ever forget this for all the rest of eternity. This is beautiful beyond what words can say or express. Thank you, thank you, thank you forever for sharing with us a precious treasure that is beyond what anyone could put a value on. This story will live forever...............Amen..................
This story is so awesome it should be told, because we all need that right now. For what has happened in the USA and if it can happen for one person it can happen for many. Blessings to King Brooks
When he said that he held the baby for two hours, that made me teary eyed ! I hate prejudice !! Blessings to this man and his wonderful story of love ! Blessings from California ! 🕊️
This story touched my heart, brought tears tot my eyes. Why can’t this been shown on all tv channels, to teach our children kindness and love one another!!!
I always believed that racism starts form home, if his mother had said to him not to go riding with Mr King or tell him how black and ugly he is or worthless black people, this story would have turned differently .Thank you so very much.
Its not just about whites and what they say. Its about black thinking whites owe them something. You have too many young black men. That you'd think we're slaves themselves, and the world owes them something.
I'm from Mexico but I lived in the United states for more than 20 years and I met some of the most wonderful people ever; white and black no matter to me, I just got to loved them , and I miss my friends. God Bless the American people.
What a beautiful story of love and compassion. What a reminder that when we love each other like the Father intended it really is enough to change a life.
Such a blessing to view this video ... It is a message of love so deep it makes the heart cry ... For me the person that really made an outstanding gift of love is Walter's mom ...if she had not been free at the heart Walter would never have had the opportunity to ride the wagon ... So thank you mom for being so kind ... Thank you Walter for sharing !!! Thank you God for the life of King and this story . Blessings !!! It's wonderful !!!
It's a wonderful lesson story that can touch peoples life, so nice to watch. I cannot control my tears falling down. Memories are there and sealed in the heart of this man
I truly have no idea why I watched this clip twice in two different days. There's some thing very heartwarming and beautiful about this story. I remember a segment of a show called Sanford and son In that episode Sanford said that under this skin there is a human being. Those words are so deep that even after forty years I haven't been able to fully grasp the true meaning of it. May God bless you Mr. King where ever you are in heave.
That was such a beautiful and inspiring story and it's about something that everyone should do is see and treat each other and God has meant for Him for us to treat each other is with love and prayers and respect and kindness regardless of the color of our skin.
Sometimes we forget what the lord has provided for us.Lord,I do not wish to ask you for anything, but simply thank you for all that i have(your grace alone)😊🙏
This story has changed my perspective about people, there are very wonderful people who belongs to God in every race, tribe and religion, thanks to God I stopped by and watched this video, it is the greatest story ive come across in a while, we all want to be accepted by God when we depart this world and this is a good example, greetings from Botswana to all people like king and this lovely grandfather here all over the world, we are just so tiny like a speck of dust to think that we can own this huge galaxy and make awkward laws, we pass on and the earth remains
O what a wonderful God we serve, for God to place that nephew there at the right place at the right time, for him to give that dear man peace about his friend where about. My God you are amazing. Thank you Lord.
Beautiful, simply beautiful!! I love this story!! Mr. Walter and Mr. Brooks are great men! Don't judge by color of the skin, "King gave me formula to live by and to love by" they were both a blessing to one another that's how it should always be!!!
What a heartfelt love story . The tears flowed with joy. May walter.and mr brook family continues to be bless. Should be a movie . God love brings peace and joy. So touching . Godspeed to all of god children.
Thanks dear dady for the touching story. It will change multitudes of souls. God bless you for sharing ua life. God bless your mum and dad for bringing you up in good intergrating spirit. There are not many of u in the world. Thanks oh Lord and bless U

I see that Walter passed away in Aug 2009 aged 90, I guess he and King Brook's are now finally together bathing in the glory of The King of Kings.
Awww

Beautiful story
This story made me teary eyed. I’m just sad Walter never got to see King again but what a miracle for him to have met his great nephew.
What a legacy!!!!
What a blessed friendship they had! Thank you Jesus for bringing King and Walter together!
A mentor for a young boy. Heartwarming.
ONE RACE.....HUMAN🌹 What a beautiful story.
Yes, God's children.
In a world where there seems to be nothing new under the sun, this story should be made into a movie. It needs to reach a larger audience.
Bethany Hanna
Amen❤️❣️
100% agreed
I agree as well
agreed! I'd love to see a movie about this
Totally agree. 💖
King Brooks built a beautiful legacy in both families. =)
Walter is the best person ever... why can’t everyone be like him?? The world would be so nice!!!!
As a child who was born in 1950, I was always disturbed by seeing the "white only" signs or "colored entrance" at the movies. I could never figure out "why" & felt very sad. God bless this man for taking a stand!
Where did you grow up?
I as born in 1950, as well, near San Francisco, California, and I never saw a sign like that in all my life.
People are stupid for not knowing that people are people..
I grew up in NW Louisiana. Prejudice and discrimination were very prevalent there. I was saddened by this. Where did some white people think it was o.k. to be so cruel to people who have different skin color? My God would NEVER treat any of His children like that!
Luckily you did not grow up in S Africa
May King Brook's soul rest in peace. Walter is such a kind hearted person, we need more people like them in this cruel world
We need more people like the both if them.
So beautiful. Plant the seed.Thank you Father.
Amen
If this child of God was still alive,i would tell him i love him and give him a big hug. i wish i had a earthly father like him to plant that seed of kindness and compassion in me as a child☝🙌🙏👊😇
THIS WHOLE STROY AND VIDEO DESERVE NOBLE AWARD, THIS MUCH I CAN SAY
This is a great story! What a precious memory and legacy he gave that young boy who grew up to love GOD and others as he did.
What a wonderful story, he loved him and felt the love of God around him.
A beautiful story! My dad taught me that ALL men are created equal and deserve a fair chance in life to prove themselves! 👍
Your dad is a very wise man.
Or just to live their own lives.
I am so blessed by this. Crying my eyes out to see such beautiful people. Jesus Christ is Lord. And He is beautiful!
Amen Praise God
Such a wonderful, touching story. I want to pass it on. That man must have raised some wonderful children.
Share it far and wide

A little update to this story. Walter and King are together again. Walter passed away in 2009 at the ripe old age of 90.

What a wonderful story. I have a similar one. I remember the vegetable vendors coming by in their wagons. My special memory is of the young woman who babysat me and did ironing, misc. chores, etc. She would always buy us fruit or sugar cane. We especially loved the sugar cane! Kindness and charity begins at home. Credit goes to mom too.
You are so right, I thought about that. His mother was so kind !
Its not just about whites and what they say. Its about black thinking whites owe them something. You have too many young black men. That you'd think we're slaves themselves, and the world owes them something.
Wow, love respect and appreciation..... Tears filled my eye half way through the video.. wow.
