@@robyjacker Nah, this title fucked it. He could've just used another title and it'd be fine. 70% of these are super normal things even beginners know.
A tip for anyone using fl, at around the 10:30 mark he mentions reversing melody but keeping the same, well, melody. We can do this really easily with the shortcut Alt+ Y for midi patterns. Pierre Bourne uses this a lot
Absolutely amazing pace of the video, let me say ADHD friendly, you got me focused for the whole 17 minutes, yet still was able to get the point across and educate me! Thanks! Masterful work!
Quick tip for a free replacement for shaper box on fl studio: when you create an automation, click on the top left, select articular tool, and select create sequence. That way can create for instance the stutter effect. Shoutout to synthet for this one
Ed, there's this musician called tn-shi. they make artcore music, and their stuff is some of the craziest but interesting and genuinely GOOD songs I've heard. try listening to Synthesis by em!
14:16 if you want an examole of a song that dies this really well, The Feeling of Drifting Apart by Quadeca does this in the outro and it creates a really intense, emotional atmosphere
Fregging awesome man. I recorded some foley samples myself, like opening a beer bottle, hitting a mug with a spoon, using a plastic box with rubberbands as a bass guitar and even recorded me snapping my fingers, ah of my nephews playtoy cars, I sampled too. And I recorded tons of pther stuff on my phone to make something with it one day or maybe I'll collect and do a big sample pack
He didn't say that. His point was that learning the fundamentals allows you to better understand your mix so you can buy plugins with intention without it becoming a waste of money.

Artcore got some heat. Quadxross MOAE:. Nagiha (I don't have a Japanese keyboard), AAAA (Again, no Japanese keyboard)
@@kimyona9746 release cut piano. beautiful thing that is
That doesn't really sound like art core but it's still extremely cool to listen to nonetheless.
tn-shi mentioned hell yeah
Artcore becoming popular and I am happy about it 😊
ive recently started making music and your channel is helping a lot :) thanks ed
