His voice sounds just like his papa’s. Deliverance and renewing the mind takes time. Each of us has to walk out our own salvation. The more he walks with Jesus, the more like him he will become. Some people forget they had a past or their journey to holiness.

When Eve ate the fruit she probably assumed God lied to her because nothing happened to her. It took Adam to eat from the fruit before both of their eyes were opened. Jesus was tempted in every way and never sinned. When we are in Christ we no longer have sin because he is sinless. Our flesh is sin nature and so there is no way for us to be sinless except by the atonement of his blood. If we believe our ability to not sin is why we are saved then we don't actually believe the Gospel. If we transgress in even one of the 613 laws then we have transgressed in all of them. We are dead to the law and alive to the spirit. Not by the will of the flesh but the power of the Holy Spirit. Have a beautiful and blessed day 🙏

The very fact that you don't have to be sinless or perfect to be saved should kind of let you know that Jesus wasn't saying to that woman "go, but if you ever sin again in any way shape or form you're unforgiven" he was saying go.. you're forgiven.. "let's not do that anymore".. Jesus will literally start a work in you whilst we are still filthy sinners and slowly work with us and eliminate things he disapproves of.. I've noticed I naturally just don't even want to do things I use to so called love or be addicted to. And thats Jesus. Its not my strength or my effort to not sin. He does that over time. Give Jesus permission to work in you and take the ride. He will blow your mind. People really do over complicate this stuff with so much denominational based religious beliefs and disagreements. We can't change on our own. Jesus will do that for you. At least he did for me. And if he'd do it for me he'll do it for you. Thats why so many of you still struggle so bad with stopping doing certain things.. because you're taking it upon yourself and your own strength to stop doing it. No.. no no no. Give Jesus permission.. and he will do it. Have faith and he will. Thats just who he is what he does. Thats when you see miracles happen when you stop trying to do the work and allow him to do it for you.
Amen brother yes that is true I can testify I grew up in a religious household I grew up in a Christian household I lived in sin I was addicted to porn in a young age I lived in sexual sin there’s one micrale that changed me I saw a demonic spirit when I was 14 my mom told me to say in the name of Jesus I said it I saw how powerful Christ is I gives up porn when I was sophomore 15 year old and when I was sophomore God revealed himself to me I saw and I cried and when I was a senior I was 17 I watched a hell video and I felt a Holy Spirit eviction I repented I give my life to Christ ever since then I found my true joy my true purpose and all is through Christ my life is his Christ is God and it says in John 14:6 he is the way the truth and the life no one comes to the father by through him there’s many doors he opened to my life i graduated high school he opened college opportunities and jobs for me he saved my sister from her near death experience and he is the source of my help he will come back again he’s our Lord he will never forsake us when we in Christ there’s is no condemnation and also we know who he is cause the Holy Spirit will reveal to us all we go to do is pray for Chet that he will grow more in Christ
I have been learning more about the “Turn the other cheek.” statement as well. In the Roman culture, they would hit those they deemed unworthy or peasant or something detested with one side of their hand. This statement made it where they have to also hit you with the other side that is for those they consider equal. Therefore they had to show you that you were on their same level. Make your point clear that you are equal and not lesser in value to them.
So first of all, I have to say that before and for a little bit after I got saved a year ago, I HATED worship and praise! As Chet said, I found it corny, lame, and performative at best... I actually got baptized and found my spiritual family at a black Baptist Church and I learned the absolute joy of praising our Heavenly Father with singing and praise there! I go to a mostly white church now but I KEPT the energy that ultimately comes from the Holy Spirit and it's my favorite part of church now. For real. A girl who hated it and now I don't care how I look to anyone else. I close my eyes and it's between me and God!!! ❤❤❤

I so appreciate this message today! I cringe when I listen to so many mega churches preaching this overwhelming lovable Jesus. Yes, God so loves us but He is also to be feared and you can not pull the wool over His eyes.
You can be so vulnerable when you're new in Christ! A bad church, false teachings, losing friends, and IMO, the biggest risk - keeping up New Age practices and thinking they are compatible with Christianity - are all tools Satan uses to pull people back into the world. Pray for all new believers.

I agree with Chad. Jesus did not have a mean (unkind) bone in his body. Yes He was tempted in every way like we are but he never submitted to temptation like we have. In John 2:25 Jesus said he did not entrust himself to people for he knew all people. He knew what was in all people. We have a sin nature. Jesus did not have a sin nature that is why he is called the second Adam (Romans 5:12). I pray Chad has mature biblically solid believers in his life to help him.

Let us pray that all recieve the gift of the holy ghost/spirit as promised from our Lord with the evidence of speaking in tongues/heavenly language. (Acts 2:38) walking with Jesus is not easy but He will make our way through any and everything as long as we have faith and obey. We must put in our work by fasting, praying, reading the holy word and actually living it all day every day with all that we are.
Look at His creation. How perfectly made everything is. Yes, humans are fallen... but look at the universe, the solar systems, the design of trees, the design of the human eye, the woman's womb... the way that everything has answer even if we arent smart enough to figure it out. Look at the world around us, everything screams that there was a creator. Everything shows that there is good and evil. If there is evil, there must be good. And who is the only one that is good... God. He is the answer to everything. He is the truth, the way, and the life. One other thing... why is it that everyone is always searching for something... they can never fill that void in them that they all know is there... until Jesus. Nothing fills that void except Him. I no longer have to search! Thank you Jesus! Now i just have to keep my eyes fixed on Him.

Be careful also what you're reading, who you listen to. There are still false teachers who are prominent in the churches and many are televised, writing books and begging for money. JESUS DID NOT DIE IN VAIN! and the wimpy world message is meant to make you believe He did. We are NOT divine. If we are born again, it is our soul that is born again, but it is still housed in the old sinful body. THAT'S why we fall short. THAT'S why we fail. THAT'S why we're tempted. We will not be divine until we are raptured. Jesus told us that there will be many false teachers, so be vigilant, steadfast, and persevere. Also your words and deeds should glorify God. Don't take His name in vain, and stop cursing! It's vulgar. And stop doing things that would not make God proud. You are not THAT special, but your language and your deeds can make others see you as special, and want what you have. They want what makes you different. They don't want what makes you the same. Be a terrific example for your spouse and children. I love when pastors take the time to speak the gospel at a funeral. It's the perfect time.
People don't like hearing there is only one way to salvation through Christ because then that makes them feel excluded. But God is God. He gets to decide how He's going to save mankind from their sin! There's only one way to find forgiveness. Through the shedding of innocent blood ( that's why in the Old Testament God established with Israel the ritual sacrifice of animals to cover sin. When Jesus died he paid for all sin for all time). Since Jesus is God incarnate and He never sinned, His blood is the only blood that cleanses sin. Being good doesn't balance out the bad. You cant be good enough to undo what you did. Even if you just sinned once...like a lie. ( and le'ts be honest, all of us have done way more than that. We've all fallen short of perfection by miles and miles) But if you only sinned once, that can't be undone no matter how much good you do. The Bible says, " all our good works are like filthy rags." What I don't get is why people are mad cause their religion is not accepted by God. Frankly, we should be thankful He provided any way at all! He didn't have to come to earth and suffer and die a horrible death for a bunch of ungrateful people like us! But His love compelled Him! And we have free will. We can reject His sacrifice if we want to....but we need to know...there is NO OTHER WAY. So walk into eternity knowing you rejected the one and only way....Or....Choose Him and believe in who He said He was and trust in His sacrifice to pay for your sin! Have eternal life with Christ! It seems like a no brainer!
What a lot of people don’t realize when they bring up the fact of other religions and them not knowing Jesus is that those countries actually do know about Jesus, and in those countries there are true believers. Don’t get it twisted just because we live in America and we claim Christianity doesn’t make us true believers.
I spent 50k on a religion degree so I could study all the world religions and figure out which one was correct. Christianity was the only one that didn't contradict itself and made logical sense.

Here’s two things. I know who Elvis Presley is, but I never knew the man. Many people say they know God…..but they only know who he is. They have no relationship with him at all. There is only ONE way to “know” God and that’s to have a personal relationship with Him. If you believe the God who’s described in scripture, then you will follow His ways. I just saw a Video of a mother whose son ran from the police. When she was called to the scene her language was f this and f that…..then almost in the same breath she had to let her son and the cops know that she’s a Christian. Can I say….NO CHRISTIAN TALKS WITH THAT KIND OF FOUL LANGUAGE. If you are a believer then you will follow the commandments that Jesus laid down. Speaking like a sailor is NOT Christian. So straighten up Christians….or stop naming the name of Christ. Grow up spiritually. If you have a foul mouth then ask the God of the Bible to heal you and deliver you from this behavior.
The word says if you love me you will obey my commandments. If someone who keeps cheating on you says they love you would you believe them ? I think as Christian’s we need to know what believe (obey and to be committed to) and love means
I got saved and started reading the Bible like Oct- Nov 2023 and was Baptized in December. Because of my Father's strength I quit drugs, alcohol, I try not to cuss, I do not watch or listen to anything that I do not think Jesus would like lol, I Pray, Fast and Worship. However, I do still smoke and cuss here and there I cuss but oh my gosh smoking is so hard to quit. Is it normal to anyone that it is taking me this long to quit smoking? My Husband smokes and he is not where I am Faith wise yet but I see it rubbing off on him lol. Not blaming him at all or anything just saying it does make it a little tougher. I have a fantastic Husband but we both struggle with smoking. Anyone else in here where it took this long? Thank You Prayers and Lots of Love to all of those truly seeking Christ. I quit. Got saved and started smoking again. Well actually vaping. I got convicted a lot. I did that for probably four months until I just tossed it one day. It’s been over a year for me, and probably eight months my husband.

I find it funny that you say “unrepentant love”as if God’s love is somehow dependent upon behavior. David said in his psalms “if I descend into the depths of hell you will find me, if I rise above the stars you are there”. Also, John said in his letters “beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God, and everyone who Loveth is born of God and knoweth God. He that loveth not Knoweth not God, for God is love”
There are a few things (non-salvific) that we speak on within the body of Christ. One of those things is Jesus being “tempted”. Let’s crack that one open a little bit, shall we? What exactly does it MEAN, to be “tempted”? To be “tempted” to sin, and to “desire” to sin, are often used interchangeably, and they should not be. Temptation, comes from THE TEMPER (satan) himself. It is the attempt of the enemy and his cohorts whom he sends on demonic assignment to INFLUENCE/CONVINCE someone to commit sin. That is NOT the same thing as a person according to their OWN FREE WILL envisioning/plotting/planning/wanting/wishing that they could retaliate and get away with it. Jesus was indeed TEMPTED by the tempter (satan) himself to sin, but it was never even CLOSE. Not in the same way that it is for all of us. Another thing to consider: Is that because Jesus was born of a virgin, directly from the seed of the Holy Spirit (NOT OF ADAM). He WAS NOT conformed to the patterns of this world as WE ALL WERE (B.C.). Therefore, He DID NOT have to be (Rom. 12:2) “transformed by the renewing of His mind”, as WE ALL MUST. Jesus had a completely different understanding, perspective, and agenda than we all grew up with. FULLY GOD, FULLY MAN. But NNNOT fully man like you and I. But rather, fully man just as Adam was BEFORE SIN entered the world. (Perfect, & WITHOUT a “sinful nature”.) Jesus didn’t *only* pay OUR sin debt, He SPECIFICALLY paid ADAM’S sin debt. As Adam was who screwed it up for the rest of us, who being his descendants, we inherited the sinful nature from him. And then Jesus made RIGHT, what Adam made wrong. Plus obviously what WE all made wrong as well. Again this stuff is all “non-salvific”. But it’s worth a deep-dive study and meditating on. I hope this helps/blesses someone in some way and doesn’t get taken out of context. 😅To be clear: I understand fully that without the precious blood of the Lamb of God who taketh away the sin of the world applied to my account, like everyone else I’d be separated from my Father for eternity. The description of being consumed by zeal for God’s house is applied to Jesus in John 2. Jesus had just proved Himself to be very zealous for the house (or temple) of the Lord. He had “cleansed” the temple of the wicked men who were extorting and cheating worshipers: “When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, Jesus went up to Jerusalem. In the temple courts he found people selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money. So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. To those who sold doves he said, ‘Get these out of here! Stop turning my Father’s house into a market!’” (John 2:13-16). Upon seeing Jesus’ actions in the temple, “His disciples remembered that it is written: ‘Zeal for your house will consume me’” (verse 17).

You’re exactly right. He’s only began his journey as a follower of Christ. He has much to learn. Even Saul of Tarsus had to be discipled by the Silas, Jesus disciples and of course the Holy Spirit before he was sent to begin his ministry.

Just at the begaining he acted like he was ashamed to say Jesus is his peace....alot of baby Christians do this....when we grow with the Lord threw reading the Bible we learn and Jesus is the 1st answer when asked what changed you....I pray he grows in the word.

If we believe our ability to not sin is why we are saved then we don't actually believe the Gospel.
If we transgress in even one of the 613 laws then we have transgressed in all of them.
We are dead to the law and alive to the spirit.
Not by the will of the flesh but the power of the Holy Spirit.

The very fact that you don't have to be sinless or perfect to be saved should kind of let you know that Jesus wasn't saying to that woman "go, but if you ever sin again in any way shape or form you're unforgiven" he was saying go.. you're forgiven.. "let's not do that anymore".. Jesus will literally start a work in you whilst we are still filthy sinners and slowly work with us and eliminate things he disapproves of.. I've noticed I naturally just don't even want to do things I use to so called love or be addicted to. And thats Jesus. Its not my strength or my effort to not sin. He does that over time. Give Jesus permission to work in you and take the ride. He will blow your mind. People really do over complicate this stuff with so much denominational based religious beliefs and disagreements. We can't change on our own. Jesus will do that for you. At least he did for me. And if he'd do it for me he'll do it for you. Thats why so many of you still struggle so bad with stopping doing certain things.. because you're taking it upon yourself and your own strength to stop doing it. No.. no no no. Give Jesus permission.. and he will do it. Have faith and he will. Thats just who he is what he does. Thats when you see miracles happen when you stop trying to do the work and allow him to do it for you.
Amen brother yes that is true I can testify I grew up in a religious household I grew up in a Christian household I lived in sin I was addicted to porn in a young age I lived in sexual sin there’s one micrale that changed me I saw a demonic spirit when I was 14 my mom told me to say in the name of Jesus I said it I saw how powerful Christ is I gives up porn when I was sophomore 15 year old and when I was sophomore God revealed himself to me I saw and I cried and when I was a senior I was 17 I watched a hell video and I felt a Holy Spirit eviction I repented I give my life to Christ ever since then I found my true joy my true purpose and all is through Christ my life is his Christ is God and it says in John 14:6 he is the way the truth and the life no one comes to the father by through him there’s many doors he opened to my life i graduated high school he opened college opportunities and jobs for me he saved my sister from her near death experience and he is the source of my help he will come back again he’s our Lord he will never forsake us when we in Christ there’s is no condemnation and also we know who he is cause the Holy Spirit will reveal to us all we go to do is pray for Chet that he will grow more in Christ

I have been learning more about the “Turn the other cheek.” statement as well. In the Roman culture, they would hit those they deemed unworthy or peasant or something detested with one side of their hand. This statement made it where they have to also hit you with the other side that is for those they consider equal. Therefore they had to show you that you were on their same level. Make your point clear that you are equal and not lesser in value to them.
So first of all, I have to say that before and for a little bit after I got saved a year ago, I HATED worship and praise! As Chet said, I found it corny, lame, and performative at best... I actually got baptized and found my spiritual family at a black Baptist Church and I learned the absolute joy of praising our Heavenly Father with singing and praise there! I go to a mostly white church now but I KEPT the energy that ultimately comes from the Holy Spirit and it's my favorite part of church now. For real. A girl who hated it and now I don't care how I look to anyone else. I close my eyes and it's between me and God!!! ❤❤❤

I agree with Chad. Jesus did not have a mean (unkind) bone in his body. Yes He was tempted in every way like we are but he never submitted to temptation like we have. In John 2:25 Jesus said he did not entrust himself to people for he knew all people. He knew what was in all people. We have a sin nature. Let us pray that all recieve the gift of the holy ghost/spirit as promised from our Lord with the evidence of speaking in tongues/heavenly language. (Acts 2:38) walking with Jesus is not easy but He will make our way through any and everything as long as we have faith and obey. We must put in our work by fasting, praying, reading the holy word and actually living it all day every day with all that we are.
Look at His creation. How perfectly made everything is. Yes, humans are fallen... but look at the universe, the solar systems, the design of trees, the design of the human eye, the woman's womb... the way that everything has answer even if we arent smart enough to figure it out. Look at the world around us, everything screams that there was a creator. Everything shows that there is good and evil. If there is evil, there must be good. And who is the only one that is good... God. He is the answer to everything. He is the truth, the way, and the life. One other thing... why is it that everyone is always searching for something... they can never fill that void in them that they all know is there... until Jesus. Nothing fills that void except Him. I no longer have to search! Thank you Jesus! Now i just have to keep my eyes fixed on Him.

Be careful also what you're reading, who you listen to. There are still false teachers who are prominent in the churches and many are televised, writing books and begging for money. JESUS DID NOT DIE IN VAIN! and the wimpy world message is meant to make you believe He did. We are NOT divine. If we are born again, it is our soul that is born again, but it is still housed in the old sinful body. THAT'S why we fall short. THAT'S why we fail. THAT'S why we're tempted. We will not be divine until we are raptured. Jesus told us that there will be many false teachers, so be vigilant, steadfast, and persevere. Also your words and deeds should glorify God. Don't take His name in vain, and stop cursing! It's vulgar. And stop doing things that would not make God proud. You are not THAT special, but your language and your deeds can make others see you as special, and want what you have. They want what makes you different. They don't want what makes you the same. Be a terrific example for your spouse and children. I love when pastors take the time to speak the gospel at a funeral. It's the perfect time.

People don't like hearing there is only one way to salvation through Christ because then that makes them feel excluded. But God is God. He gets to decide how He's going to save mankind from their sin! There's only one way to find forgiveness. Through the shedding of innocent blood ( that's why in the Old Testament God established with Israel the ritual sacrifice of animals to cover sin. When Jesus died he paid for all sin for all time). Since Jesus is God incarnate and He never sinned, His blood is the only blood that cleanses sin. Being good doesn't balance out the bad. You cant be good enough to undo what you did. Even if you just sinned once...like a lie. ( and le'ts be honest, all of us have done way more than that. We've all fallen short of perfection by miles and miles) But if you only sinned once, that can't be undone no matter how much good you do. The Bible says, " all our good works are like filthy rags." What I don't get is why people are mad cause their religion is not accepted by God. Frankly, we should be thankful He provided any way at all! He didn't have to come to earth and suffer and die a horrible death for a bunch of ungrateful people like us! But His love compelled Him! And we have free will. We can reject His sacrifice if we want to....but we need to know...there is NO OTHER WAY. So walk into eternity knowing you rejected the one and only way....Or....Choose Him and believe in who He said He was and trust in His sacrifice to pay for your sin! Have eternal life with Christ! It seems like a no brainer!

What a lot of people don’t realize when they bring up the fact of other religions and them not knowing Jesus is that those countries actually do know about Jesus, and in those countries there are true believers. Here’s two things. I know who Elvis Presley is, but I never knew the man. Many people say they know God…..but they only know who he is. They have no relationship with him at all. There is only ONE way to “know” God and that’s to have a personal relationship with Him. If you believe the God who’s described in scripture, then you will follow His ways. When she was called to the scene her language was f this and f that…..then almost in the same breath she had to let her son and the cops know that she’s a Christian. I got saved and started reading the Bible like Oct- Nov 2023 and was Baptized in December. Because of my Father's strength I quit drugs, alcohol, I try not to cuss, I do not watch or listen to anything that I do not think Jesus would like lol, I Pray, Fast and Worship. However, I do still smoke and cuss here and there I cuss but oh my gosh smoking is so hard to quit. Is it normal to anyone that it is taking me this long to quit smoking? My Husband smokes and he is not where I am Faith wise yet but I see it rubbing off on him lol. Not blaming him at all or anything just saying it does make it a little tougher. I have a fantastic Husband but we both struggle with smoking. Anyone else in here where it took this long? Thank You Prayers and Lots of Love to all of those truly seeking Christ. Best thing I ever did outside of my Family. Glory to God!! Thank You Father God!

I quit. Got saved and started smoking again. Well actually vaping. I got convicted a lot. I did that for probably four months until I just tossed it one day. It’s been over a year for me, and probably eight months my husband.

I find it funny that you say “unrepentant love”as if God’s love is somehow dependent upon behavior. David said in his psalms “if I descend into the depths of hell you will find me, if I rise above the stars you are there”. Also, John said in his letters “beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God, and everyone who Loveth is born of God and knoweth God. He that loveth not Knoweth not God, for God is love”
There are a few things (non-salvific) that we speak on within the body of Christ. One of those things is Jesus being “tempted”. Let’s crack that one open a little bit, shall we? What exactly does it MEAN, to be “tempted”? To be “tempted” to sin, and to “desire” to sin, are often used interchangeably, and they should not be. Temptation, comes from THE TEMPER (satan) himself. It is the attempt of the enemy and his cohorts whom he sends on demonic assignment to INFLUENCE/CONVINCE someone to commit sin. That is NOT the same thing as a person according to their OWN FREE WILL envisioning/plotting/planning/wanting/wishing that they could retaliate and get away with it. Jesus was indeed TEMPTED by the tempter (satan) himself to sin, but it was never even CLOSE. Not in the same way that it is for all of us.
Another thing to consider: Is that because Jesus was born of a virgin, directly from the seed of the Holy Spirit (NOT OF ADAM). He WAS NOT conformed to the patterns of this world as WE ALL WERE (B.C.). Therefore, He DID NOT have to be (Rom. 12:2) “transformed by the renewing of His mind”, as WE ALL MUST.
Jesus had a completely different understanding, perspective, and agenda than we all grew up with. FULLY GOD, FULLY MAN. But NNNOT fully man like you and I. But rather, fully man just as Adam was BEFORE SIN entered the world. (Perfect, & WITHOUT a “sinful nature”.)
Jesus didn’t *only* pay OUR sin debt, He SPECIFICALLY paid ADAM’S sin debt. As Adam was who screwed it up for the rest of us, who being his descendants, we inherited the sinful nature from him. And then Jesus made RIGHT, what Adam made wrong. Plus obviously what WE all made wrong as well.
Again this stuff is all “non-salvific”. But it’s worth a deep-dive study and meditating on. I hope this helps/blesses someone in some way and doesn’t get taken out of context. 😅To be clear: I understand fully that without the precious blood of the Lamb of God who taketh away the sin of the world applied to my account, like everyone else I’d be separated from my Father for eternity.

The description of being consumed by zeal for God’s house is applied to Jesus in John 2. Jesus had just proved Himself to be very zealous for the house (or temple) of the Lord.
