im 29 i have early stage cirrhosis from an autoimmune disorder .
Im starting to feel tired more and more now. Growing more and more confused slur my words a lot.
Whats the outcome for me? My specialist says im fine and to keep eating regularly and maintain monthly bloodwork.

    • @villanelle5279

james hutton get a second opinion. You may have auto-immune hepatitis which can then lead to primary sclerosing colongitus. My husband has both of these diseases and is getting a liver transplant on Wednesday. Don’t just go on the opinion of one doctor. Of course eating well and exercise play a key role in feeling better, but you may need medication to help you as well as further testing to check how severe your liver damage may be. You may end up having flare ups that will land you in the hospital for several days at a time on a regular basis. Please take care of yourself and seek a second opinion

@LS Sigmarsson you can take part of a living person's liver and it will regrow back to normal. The person receiving the transplant will have it regrow back to normal also
