A friend of mine just had a liver transplant one week ago. She’s 63 years old and has liver cancer. The only way to save her life was to give her a new liver because the chance of the cancer coming back was almost 100%. She waited six months before she can go on the donor list and as of January 1 she officially went on that list. By January 12th she had a new liver❤

Wonderful!!!! I signed up to donate after seeing a harvest (at age 18). I never expected that I would need a liver transplant.
    I am so fortunate.
Thank you for sharing. I wish we would all be automatically signed up.
I’m so pleased that you made it ❤️

My story is very close to this.....I fell into coma for almost 2 months. I got sick so quick without warning that I only had a day or two. I got my life liver from a young man, which isnt as easy as people might think....I was 40 and 5' 7" and weighed 140(healthy) blood type A+....the donor has to be the same body size, same size organ, same blood type....so it's not as simple as I thought before my ordeal.
