Yeah the F-16 I got is basically the late model V2... I don't have the full stabs..but what I do got is the motor improvement I did for myself I'm running a 3200-4100 kv.. and I'm using 150 amp..ESC. it would run on the 6s or 8s..lipo. the motor is actually a cyclone tornado.. we collected at 172. MPH. With the 8S..4500 milliamp.lipo not bad for a late model V2 F-16... The motor that was in it was excellent I just wanted to go faster..... I wish I had the full stabs.. but that's okay.. mine is a lot faster.lol. I will be putting some video on RUclips with my F-16... But let me tell everybody Don't blink... And I'm running to 12 blade fan but it is aluminum.... Plastic won't hold up on those kind of RPMs... All right see everybody at the field.. but remember freewing. Is the best!!!!
Yep, still foam hinges. Freewing does supply you with some plastic hinges if you want to install them. Totally agree with you, i wish they put them on from the factory.
Real good! I've done 3 flights with it. I'll fly it more tomorrow. Right now, it flies great. Tracks super smooth. Feels better than my old v2. I'm slowly bringing the cg back to where it was on my old v2. But just doing it gradual. Once that's done, next will be adding some up on both ailerons when i apply up elevator. On my V2, that mix gave me a bit more stability when in high alpha. When flying normal patterns (no high alpha) it feels more plane and stable than my v2. I really like it so far. I'll probably do another video once it's tweaked and tuned the way i like it.
Yep, doesn't have one. I don't normally run gyros but I finally installed one in my T33 just to see the difference. And it does make a difference. In stabilize mode (same as AS3X on Spektrum) it does noticably smooth out a flight especially in gusty conditions. Next test is on this plane or my Rafale to check how it helps for high alpha flights.
Man those full flying stabs look perfect for a 70mm of this size. I have the eflite/Fms 70mm, and it’s limited on high alpha because it has hinges
Fantastic flight!
Veeeery nice maiden :))))
Congrats on a great maiden. Those are the best... It doesn't hurt that you are a really good pilot.. Congrats...
thank you. I'm happy. You are amazing too! I have registered!
I'm thinking of buying the V3 version.
@@hk3694 wouldn’t say amazing. But appreciate it. 😀
@@SteffenRC Thank you to everyone
The landing had some serious high alpha!

Nice Maiden. Did you use 6s 4000? Thx.
SMC High Voltage 6s 3800. Great powerful batteries
Are the hinges still foam or have they finally fitted proper plastic hinges? Thanks
Yep, still foam hinges. Freewing does supply you with some plastic hinges if you want to install them. Totally agree with you, i wish they put them on from the factory.
You could use foamtac...
Vid on how you did the full stabs??
I did nothing! It's the new version of the Freewing 70mm F-16. It comes that way. Available through MotionRC

you dont need a gyro
