Is Bret the greatest in ring performer of all time? Let us know in the comments below!
Not the greatest, but certainly a great.
Yes he the greatest. No body will ever match Bret ability.
As time goes by .. all will agree... as the saying goes.. 'best there ever will be'
He didn't draw so no
@@bigolebot Bret will all ways be Millon time better than Hogan and Cena. They don't come close to Bret.
Bret's comedic chops are really underrated. His dry dead-pan humor reminds me of Bill Murray in a way.
Or Roy Keane
'' whose phone is that ? ''@@aliofly
because they are both equally old and dry. lol
Canadians have the beat sense of humor.
And in a way is harrison ford
“A cement truck filled with barf” gave me the biggest LOL I’ve had in a long time
Bret being a heel in the US and a face in Canada was such an awesome way to do business. As a kid even though he was a heel i still had a reason to like Bret
I loved Bret turning heel and forming the Hart Foundation. It gave Jim Neidhart a job, too.
He turned heel twice in the WWE
@@horizontoday7874 did he come in as a face then turn heel when he teamed with Anvil and Jimmy Hart?
@@clivet3252 Correct
Like with Bischoff, I could listen to Bret talk all day. Another great video.
U are joking
1997 was a great year in wwf
And wcw
Yup. WCW had started to get pay off from what they cooked up in the previous year, and WWF was starting to really cook then with some underrated storylines. By the time November/December '97 had rolled around, we had all the foundational elements for the storm that became WWF's attitude era. Especially with the introduction of KANE, and Stone Cold's return with a new brawl-focused offense. Those rivalries lasted quite a few years too (minus Bret vs Austin because Bret was out in Nov). And the theme music? I'll be here all night if I start on about Jim Johnston's talent putting so much together to convey messages to the audience about the characters.
Turning heel in America led to Bret's best (albeit short) run as a wrestler. WCW landed on a winning ticket and Eric Bischoff didn't know how to cash it in.
3:51 it’s nice to see Bret and Shawn have common ground 😅
If Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart in 97 could agree on something, you best believe it was true.
Undertaker said the same thing about vader too
Not to mention his pumches are like totally real 😂😂😂
I remember this time as a kid, living Canada, and how it felt like a soccer match between fans. When it came to Canada vs USA. Kinda surreal moment. And for me, the peak of Bret Hart just as a character in general.
Ah, yes. Back when it was still real to me damnit.
Shawn 'I lost my smile' Michaels fans moaning in the comments about Bret.
Bret Hart is the best! 🩷🤍
Bret's deadpan comedic delivery is something else. 🤣
Didn't Bret wrestle Taker in England shortly after Bret won his 5th Title? Or was that a different year?
Yup, One Night Only
Yep, face vs face
Bret is hilarious. Great storyteller
I thought the Canada vs USA was some of the best stuff in 1997. One week pro Hart, next week pro Austin. Good Shit!!!
I remember the guys he was supposed to wrestle as a babyface were Vader, Mankind and Steve Austin opposed to Shawn Michaels, Undertaker and Steve Austin.
Bret Hart and Shawn Micheals did not like working with Vader because he worked stiff and stunk. Vader should have at least washed his gear in the sink of his hotel. Not sure his style could have been altered. He seemed to like hurting people.
Bret in Canada and the rest of the world = YEAH
Bret in America =Boooooo
Forever an absolute badass! 😎
Dude get a brain
No one else could have or will ever pull that off ever again
Such a unique talent is the Hitman
But weren’t most house shows in America? Or he wasn’t working them? They sell a lot of merch at those shows
Heel Bret is best Bret
Bret and stone cold was the best storyline written.
Didn't realize he was even a heel.
Poor Leon 😂😂 R.I.P.
The best there is......
Wasn't much of a comprise as he still found himself working with Vader near summers end going into the fall. 🤦♂️🤣
Austin wasn't a face at the time but I can understand Bret's misrecollection. He should remember that though because that was the big deal about the Wrestlemania he's talking about and that was the double turn in the I Quit match vs Austin
so vader basically smells how i always imagined
he reminds me if ray from trailer park boys
Im surprised Mankind, Farrooq and the Nation along with Triple H weren't on that list.
They must have been
He was persuaded by not facing vader maybe all he saw was vader 😂
Bret complains about how bad Vader smelled
Fans: 🤣
Shawn complains about how bad Vader smells
Fans: OMG what a diva! 😡
vince screwed vince
It will never get old watching Bret cut promos talking about America "is one big giant toilet bowl" . 😊🚽
"No. Im not gonna let him beat me in Canada" - Bret Hart
That doesn't work for me brother
typical bret hart hater, hbk disrespected him after bret said he had no problem dropping the title to him at survivor series, had hbk not been suck a prick back then Montreal would never had happened.
@@willjohnboyBoo hoo shawn was mean to him. The boss said drop the belt do your job,Bret. Big cry baby.
False quote.
@@Absolutelyruddyuseless how many times did shawn drop the belt? He handed back more belts than anyone in history
What was the word he said...barsh??
Barf, also known as puke or vomit. It's an 80s term 😄😄😄
Bret Cornette and jin Ross clear their throats way too much for me it sounds gross🤮
Shame that heel turn from Bret still didn't draw any money... Him and shawn would still be mid carders if the steroid stuff never happened
I love Bret I do I really do but bro really takes himself wayyy too seriously seriously lol. You are only as big as the promotion promoting you allows you to be lol
Bret hart is the biggest egomaniac lol
Hulk hogan and the kliq have entered the chat 😂
@@willjohnboy I always thought it was hilarious Kliq would call other people marks or Razor had so much beef with Bret. Bret does take it too serious, that cage match with Nash he should've just took his finish.
@@mecha2001nope. Bret was a popular babyface It would make him look bad if it looked like a heel Diesel has beaten him clean
Shows how much you know about the history of the biz
@RaulRamirez-jv4rn notice how shawn rock stone cold cena etc, they don't bury their peers, they're professional. Bret hart just whines all day about goldberg hogan etc who were bigger stars than him
I wish Goldberg would superkick Bret again. Finally shut him up
Dear lord, this complains so much it makes me cringe…
