I got a couple cheap ones and a goosky s1 recently to try to learn on. Got a goosky s2 because I loved the s1. I'm right there with you wanting to practice as much as possible, but I feel I'm still not even close to doing any tricks like that. The s1 is a great helicopter if you have a decent sized yard and can't make it to a field all the time, but I would say get a lot of batteries cause they go quickly in the s1.
@@nickarganbright7218 don’t worry about flying 3D. Practice practice practice! Get really comfortable and be able to put that helicopter where you want it at all times. Then start learning inverted and so on. Don’t rush and you will be a much better pilot!
Love watching this machine fly with awesome sound of the turbine, looking forward to your next with high head speed, blades and turbine should sound really good together
I love flying this machine. It’s just a different flying and it does so well. I’m gonna do some special throttle curves, and I think I can keep the engine and its rpm range better which will give me more power and better flights.
You know I've been waiting for this, lol. I'd say for a first time, not turned all the way up, it moved along at a very good clip! No wagging, nothing.
It was very smooth! I think it can definitely go faster as the engine was in the lower RPM no making full power so I’m going to mess with curves and get the engine to start (at least try) in the power band RPM.
I love speed as well! Just wait for the next build project! It will be coming out very soon. So I fly at an Air Force Base. Their practice range is behind the flying field. Lol.
@@HuevosAzules I’m excited! I just finished wiring it all up. Now soldering the ESC connectors and then FBL setup! Should be able to maiden this weekend! Just in time for my new Tron to get here….
what a beauty of a Heli & that sound of the Jet…. I did indeed see some smoke when it was no longer cooled (surely that peak heat can't hurt?) back in the day when we got the first cars with turbos. After a fast drive on the highway, it was advisable to drive quietly for a while to get the Turbo to cool down (in the dark you could see it glowing) times have changed / the turbos last longer
It feels a little heavy, but really not that bad at all! You really notice it if you load the head up, but I’m going to do a custom throttle curve and try to keep the engine at its optimal RPM.
Jeff, do you name your helicopters 🚁? This one sure flies nicely, guess it balanced out easily ? I miss the smell of kerosene !Bluetoothed the sound of the turbine to the stereo 👍🏻. I wonder 💭 who will be the first to build a turbine powered gyrocopter 🤔 kinda a Mad Max thing. Thank you for teaching myself and many, others so much about helicopters 🚁, I mentioned the Torrington style thrust bearing the other day just to help spread the knowledge, they also have a needle bearing version but it’s for a thrust only application, whereas the caged ball bearing style is good for both thrust and radial / axial loads. Have a great day. 😊
No, I don’t name any of them lol so actually, it is extremely nose heavy. Maybe in the future I will design a different frame and flip the engine around but it wise fantastic. Really could not ask for a better flying turbine helicopter. Wouldn’t that be awesome! Bluetooth smell. Kerosene smells amazing when it’s being burned. Out of a turbine. It’s like the smell of Nitro! The two best smells ever! I try to learn something new every day! I am a firm believer that you can never know everything and you could never stop learning or at least you should not stop learning
Having just got a Goosky S2 as my first heli, seeing stuff like this flown really motivates me to practice and improve
you have a fantastic little helicopter to learn and practice with. Stick with it keep practicing and you’ll be able to fly anything you want.

Absolutely amazing skill that heli flies smoothly 🤙
Thank you! It does fly amazing. Very smooth and solid.
GOSH I LOVE THIS ONE!
@@sdssteward it’s awesome!
Nothing beats that sound!!!!
No it does not!

I hope you told those people your heli aint target practise 😅

I was hoping to see more of the Tron build, but I can't complain with the turbine always a good show
I am working on the last part of the Tron video as I write this comment back to you lol

...still love it,sir❣🚁
Me too! It’s amazing! Way better then I thought it would be.

It's got good speed, and acceleration . It doesn't look like it's flying heavy.

Blue Smoke after landing?? Need DEF! 😂
Yeah… definitely not getting any DEF! 🤣
Great flight bro, i'd like to drag race ya with my M1.😁

does the turbine feel heavier in the air then a 700 size electric
I would say it feels about the same weight wise but you noticed it in the torque. A turbine does not have the torque that an electric has.
Heck yes CRANK IT UP. Sorry that's the automotive part of me . LOL.
It’s definitely gonna get cranked up very soon! Lol
Wow .........
It’s amazing!
but you need 88 for a time jump...
Yes that you do! Lol
