I used the Philip McKnight method of newspaper and Titebond - on my Les Paul build, and it worked flawlessly. Has not moved in 4 seasons so far.
His method really is the best solution when there's excess slop.
Nice video. Good point on not going past the wood when hammering it in. On a two-point trem, should the screws be snug or do they help set action height?
Along with individual saddle adjustments, they should be used to refine action height. I set the screws just off the surface. Too close and the front edge of the bridge can bind against the body, to high and the posts lose stability.
