    Serious question.
If you are not inspired, why would you be embarking on this jurny?

I think the one you are referring to is Pylar Glacier contrast paint.

I am stuck at the point where I have no clue what I want my tyranids to look like, i am quite new to the hobby so when I look at google for ideas it is overwhelming and my anxiety goes bonkers so I get stuck in that endless cycle

I'm still stuck on coming up with a different color scheme for my sisters of battle that won't be just a copy of someone else's.
So far I have two ideas in mind but I need to get some test models and see how they play out.

    Great video!
I land somewhere in the middle of following the boxart and coming up with my own stuff. I have two armies, Grey Knights and Custodes. For my Custodes i went with a metallic blue as their armor, and silver/gold for various details as well as red for their capes, hair etc. Its fairly close to the Shadowkeeper scheme, but different enough i know its "my scheme".
On the other hand for my Grey Knights i 99% box art. For some reason i can not imagine these guys being any other color than a metallic blue

Can isopropyl alcohol damage the plastic of a GW mini, or dissolve the paint?

Isopropyl is safe for the minis. it will strip off the paint. Just whatever you do DON'T put them in acetone that will turn them into goo

This is sorta how I did my first army
I started with yellow AdMech with pink armor, decided I hated it, then changed the yellow to seafoam green
Now I have a fully painted AdMech army
    Success through errors I say

I often don't even strip. Repriming over them is usually fine.

Thank you! I'm working on trying to get a whole army in that scheme. I envisioned them as either subterranean or from a world that doesn't get much sunlight. Mainly I just like the briar queens chill contrast paint a lot. I'm halfway through a guide on how I paint them!
