As someone who beated mh freedom for the first time a few weeks ago i disagree. Old mh wasn't really difficult, it was just obnoxious, they have just been slowly moving away from that over the years.

I don't mean that they are bad of course lol. I enjoyed the experience once i got used to it. Im even going through freedom unite rn and im enjoying it a bit more, probably bc i can actually use my main weapon in that game lol.

1st and 2nd gen rathalos was such a PAIN I hated every second of every moment I had to hunt him down

@@SkojSkull I found out going at them with the longsword was a good option aswell and just bringing stuff to spam craft flashes if your lucky with the animations chosen while flashed you’ll have them dead or ready for capture before you use your last flash
All you needed was the power of the cat girl outfit to take the Rathalos down xD

I think MH1 only real competition for the crown of hardest MH game is dos, based on what I've seen from jakob monster hunter it's basically MH1 squared mechanically but with slighty less jank controlls, unfortunately it's quite hard to get your hands on
Yeah Ive heard that it is definitely a real grind for that game 😂 it's more on the survival side of things! For myself it'll definitely be a game I would want to play with others and not tackle solo from the get go 😅

Chepalos is no fun
Its become so much easier after 4th gen.
There is a reason why Cephadrome walled me when I originally played OG MH. It isnt really hard, it is just grindy and chasing the monsters around got on my young self's nerves.
I can imagine yeah 😂 that was why I prepared so much for this fight lol!
@@SkojSkull I tried to prepare XD I got my cool drinks and sonic bombs, but there is only so much prep you can do without the internet screaming at you . . . literally XD
