This market is so much fun. The crowds are huge but for good reason. I go here every year. Here is the video from last year if you want to see more. Largest Night Market in Bangkok - Kasert University Annual Fair - Thailand 2023 ruclips.net/video/KrpatIAdI_w/видео.html
This fair is not far from my house probably about ten minutes to makkasan district where my parents home but my parents are gone only my siblings still living there. And the last fair carnival was there in the 1970 long time a Go , because I lived here in New England once a year I used to goes to Springfield Massachusetts for a Fair carnival but not any more I can not walks I'm getting too old.
I know makkasan district very well. I pass by it on my way home from work every day. I live about a mile and a half from Kasert on Phanyothin Road. Makkasan has changed a lot with the airport link passing right through it. It was built probably around 2010 or so.
Because I was born in Bangkok the food I lean to eats is originated in Bangkok that the only food I know off, not the north or the south or the neighbors countries I never saw The weirded of the food for the last few years now .
A lot of the markets make food from Japan and Korea. Thais have traveled around and learned how to make it and many dishes have become Thai staples. It’s kind of interesting but at times it’s hard to even see traditional Thai food.
