I loved your beautiful culture, warm and welcoming people we literally had to fight with a local egyptian to take our money for the icecream we bought. Alhamdulillah he took it but i can describe egypt as a very beautiful country with a beautiful culture only if egypt had a better economy it would say that egypt would be dubai number 2 or even better than dubai i did stay in ismailia but all i can say egypt is a flower of arabia.
Simply put...being a Muslim raised in the West...this is shocking to me. In the West, I felt like I was always the enemy for simply being Muslim. Things aren't bad in the daily, but Islamophobic sentiment isn't surprising to come across. I am so intrigued by Russia now. I am beginning to question so much of how the West paints the Russians ..

но последнее время в России раскачивают настроения против многих мигрантов-мусульман именно потому что они пытаются навязать свою религию везде, а ведут себя ужасно. если вы мусульманин, но не говорите, что все должны быть как вы или вести себя слишком нагло, то к вам будут относиться хорошо. русские люди весьма сдержаны в эмоциях и стараются не нарушать личные границы (есть и такие, но это считается неприличным)
если вы вдруг надумаете посетить Россию не как турист, а именно переехать жить сюда, то вам следует выучить русский язык иначе к вам могут относиться предвзято, потому что очень долгое время (~1990-2010) происходило много террактов от мусульман, так что русские люди всё ещё немного бояться мусульман, если так можно выразиться, и в связи с этим могут относиться немного враждебно при первой встрече
но если вы попали в беду, очень много людей, которые вам помогут не смотря ни на что, даже если они не до конца будут понимать язык 🤝

I am a Moslem. I meet a lot of foreigners online. Most Russians and eastern Europeans are more accepting of me than Americans or some other European countries such as Germany or France
because french and germans know muslims way better than eastern europe since their countries have been turned into playground and grape party by muslims.

Heyy ! I'm a romanian 🇷🇴 ,from of course Romania. And yes, we eastern europeans are in fact respectable towards other religions such as Islam. For example in Romania in the Dobrogea region we have many muslim turks who live there and embrace their culture and cuisine along with the orthodox lipovan russians.
What I'm trying to say is we accept and respect every religion equally and love the culture you all have.

Hello there, brothers.
I am Muslim from Russia and want to clarify something about Islam and Muslims in Russia.
Firstly, you should know that Russia is very diverse culturally and ethnically.
Secondly, there 2 main groups of ethnicities in Russia which are historically Muslim: Tatars are the 1 group and most of Northern Caucasian ethnicities are the 2 (there are more than a 100 of them, although individually each of these ethnicities are small in numbers).
And this 2 groups of Muslims are practically non related at all.
Thirdly, in Northern Caucasian region people praise their customs and traditions above the Deen, and that is a bad thing obviously.
Fourthly, Russia has a really bad experience with 'Islamist' thugs (sponsored by West and Saudies, by the way), so secular society has a very suspicious eye on us, Muslims.
Fifthly, ethnic russians are quite racists, actually. Especially against ethnicities from Caucasian region (both Northern and Southern) and from different -stans (like Uzbekistan, Tajikistan). And russians see Islam more like culturally-specific thing to that groups.
Sixthly, we have a lot of Muslim work-migrants from Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. And I, actually, understand ethnic russian quite well, because that immigrants often misbehave (to put it lightly). This particular group of Muslims in Russia makes very, very poor image of Islam.

Muslims and Russians are brothers. They have a common thoughts of blood, sweat and tears for hardworking. It was the West that wanted to divide them against each other. Just like they use Chechen. Ultimately, they prevail.

I love Russians. Despite how they are portrayed in certain parts of the world, most of them seem like very hospitable, welcoming, and accepting people. And tbh, I think you would have a much easier time as a Muslim in Russia than any western country.
Unfortunately it is not true, man.
Being a Muslim in Russia nowadays means that cops will check you on every metro station, check you bags, your documents. They often times pick on you, you are always the first suspect if something bad happens. It's much harder to find an apartment, cause a lot of owners put something like "ONLY FOR SLAVIC PEOPLE" in description or don't want to have any buisness with you as soon as they hear your name and origin. People make jokes about you being a terrorist or a suicide bomber every day, lol. While jokes are pretty funny (gotta admit), there are almost no limits. For example if you are black, you will be often called n-word or hear jokes about slavery or your skin color. Some Russians, mostly older ones, will very often refer to Central Asian Muslims as "our lesser brothers" which may sound okay for westerners, but a native speaker understands that it's the exact same term used to refer to animals. There is also some kind of passive racism everywhere, often discussions are built based on non-spoken stigma that Muslims = less inteligent, aggressive, dirty, and non-respectful. You can notice it even in this video, the woman was asked what does she think about Muslims and she immediately started with "that are not as bad" as if it is assumed otherwise in general. Outsiders cannot get a full picture from just RUclips videos such as this.
Hatred of others is less in Russia. Most of the people are calm. It is much more in some of the western countries. In our country India, hatred of others has increased a lot in past few decades 😢

As a Muslim That has lived in Russia, not all Russians are racist, I personally had not a single bad encounter, but I did live in the bigger cities, and the people they say are behaving badly , I agree some individuals don't know how to act like civilised people, 90% Russians that I have interacted with had 3 Nationalities that behave very badly, I will not name them otherwise I would be classed as a hater or ethnic hater, If you ever have a chance to visit Russia, I recommend, Good people and A historic land, you may encounter those Nationalities yourselves and judge.
Me as a Dutchmen find that Russian people are always so straight to the point also maybe because their language. Like the Frysk people for example from our province Friesland.
