Just want to make something clear... "Nation of Islam" is not Islam. Nation of Islam has VERY different beliefs to what 99.9% of Muslims believe. Malcom X was first a member of the Nation of Islam but then converted to actual Islam after his pilgrimage to Mecca. And it goes against where God said he is which is above His throne in a manner that befits Him. Also, it goes against the belief that Muhammed pbuh was the final messenger. This was great to see. Islam really changes lives. I agree that some of these brothers may not articulate the benefits to their lives but i could tell they've come from dark places and have found peace.
My father's friend grew up in a similar environment which also led him to Islam. He was once a Catholic pastor after the Vietnam war then became a monk. After that, he went agnostic for a while then studied Islam which later reverted.

I guess I'm just so focused on the present and only about my specific community and what goes on around me. I feel like a lot of people may have a similar mindset. I've been watching you for so long now and you're my favorite youtuber at the moment. You've educated me on different places all over the country, and taught me about all different sorts of religions. You've found a way to turn stuff that I found uninteresting into something super interesting.

You can't record music, or drill music its haram, and fasting is not only limited to not eating and drinking, your eyes,ears,mouth, etc also must fast. What you see could brake your fast ( porn, thinking about sexual stuff about someone, and etc) the five daily prayers to, there's alot you need to know or do for your fast to be accepted.

I believe this is my first time bumping into this channel & also seeing the Muslims in Chicago.

The point is that during the jumuah u should listen carefully to the imam without talking to anyone then pray your salat in خشوع (in focus) then go about your day !!

Man this opened my eyes to a lot of things! Bro thank you for the enlightenment for real thank you so much it has really opened my eyes and especially my heart to a lot! I have a lot of Muslims friends and I can honestly say they never forced anything on me and they have alway been peaceful and helping but watching this really helped me understand more and more of the message that Islam has tried for so long to show us the way!
If you want to understand a bit more about Islam then I'd recommend a youtube channel called One Message Foundation. It's basically street discussions between a Muslim and random non-Muslims who are curious. I guarantee you'll find it very interesting!
