  • What? A pick that costs ₱3,000?!!! I recently heard about this pick, it was hard to find and after days of searching I discovered there are very few sellers and got one immediately for 380RMB but at Blue Chip Pick's website it is priced only $35. Is there really something special about this pick? Check out the video.

    Just got a TD35 today and played a Martin D-28 with it. Four hours later, still playing. I genuinely have never heard the guitar sound so good before, in 20 years. Absolutely weird, but it really is special. At 0.89, it feels much chunkier than my usual 0.73, but is just right somehow. Love it.

      Getting ready to buy one to use with my d18. Did you get the speed bevel or round?

    Great video man love it. I just ordered one today and wanted to hear what it sounded like on an electric. I can really hear the difference in your video excellent.

    Never heard of this pick. Seems cool. Although the tone comparisons... I think the other options have their place. The bite the dunlop and fender picks had on thunderstruck, were better. But the Blue chip did seem smoother and have a tone of its own.

      I agree. It’s smoother which means when you want to sound gritty regular dunlops are better.

    Hey, since posting this, can you comment on if it holds up well to pick scrapes? I know the material is said to last a long time with normal playing, but just curious how it holds up to something like pick scrapes, where most other picks/materials would immediately get a groove worn in them.
    Thanks!

    How is the pick for more strumming parts, especially on acoustic guitar?

    How stiff is this pick? I'm looking for a pick that's thin, but very stiff. Would you say the Blue Chip is stiffer compared to Dunlop and Fender picks of the same guage/thickness? Please let me know! Thanks.

      im sure you already got your answer but the blue-chip td 50 may be the one you were looking for

      @@LiamG170 I actually haven't gotten a clear answer yet. Haha, so you're saying it isn't that stiff, and I should move to the next size up if I want something really stiff?

    • @LiamG170
      @LiamG170 2 года назад

      @@MagnusGoGo it is stiff. I don’t have one myself but I heard the higher the number it says on the blue chip pick the more thick it is. The review I saw on the pick is called “Bluechip Pick review acoustic guitar pick plectrum test TD-50 Martin hd-28 d-18 strumming acoustic” at the very start he shows the thickness of the pick. Now that I’m watching it again I realize he says it’s a “pretty thick pick” but you can be the judge of that. Bluechip may have what you’re looking for although if you think that ones too thick. Have a great day!

    I’ve tried to love bluechip on electric, but that lack of bite sounds like I have a compressor on knocking off the transient. I have 2 BC TD35’s, speed bevel and round. I haven’t tried them on acoustic yet, but I hear that’s the place for them. I LOVE the feel, and I do like the clean tone on electric with them…but drive sounds weird. Not what you hear on the old records at least

      Is it normal to have scratches on them? I just got a TD 35 and my friend dropped it and it got pretty scratched up. Not sure if I should try and buff it out or not sweat it
