Thank you so much for the video. I just bought the 2024 Cicic Hatchback in January,2024. All black including windows etc.. the car itself is beautiful. I am an old lady, 66, but this car is very sporty and easy to drive. I wanted a BMW so badly, but coworkers talked me out of it, so settled for the Honda because I knew in the long run it would be the better decision. You can never go wrong with a Honda. Had a CRV, an HRV, now the Civic. Even had the Honda lawnmower.
A friend just bought this EXACT car. Same color, Sport trim, hatchback, CVT. What a solid, excellent value Honda has offered up! Tight and quiet, punches above its weight in quality. And no one will miss your arrival in that Boost Blue paint. Write the check! Hard to do better than this Civic Sport for the money! Great review!
Man so many people seem like they aren’t the least skeptical in cvt trans, actually most people don’t even know they exist probably but I just can’t get over the trust issues I have with them 20 years as a mechanic
I just leased this EXACT car having turned in my 2021 Sport Turbo...Driving it home I was bumming wondering why it didn't want to move....Then I realized it's NOT A TURBO...OOOPS.LOL. My BAD! LOVED.the BLUE, SO SO MUCH! Three years ago all that was available was white. My BIG Brother works for Honda so I get a SWEET *SS deal ....Watching your video here now, I am content with this pretty little blue car now. I appreciate your detail in this going OVER everything about this vehicle. My new vehicle. For three years anyways. Next up for me....The CIVIC R TYPE! Thank you again for this video. It eased my soul....😊👊
@@ELP1125 I think its all they need. The only fun sedans that still sell are like the Dodge Chargers and a few others usually out of reach for most people.
What are you talking about? Every car manufacturer has 2-3 sedans in their lineup. Hell, the Camry is probably still one of the best selling cars. Kia, Hyundai, Nissan, Toyota, Honda, plus all their respective “higher” end versions like Infiniti and Acura. There are sedans everywhere and they are not out of reach of most people. I’m not sure where you are getting this information from, but sedans are alive and well.
I just bought the 2024 Civic Sport sedan in white. It’s overall a great car and corners very well. I upgraded from an ‘08 Accord and this was a major upgrade in a small package. Glad I made this decision which should be trouble free for years to come.
I almost got this car, (2023 though)looked awesome...but I sat in 2022 accord sport SE and fell in love with all the room Honda is making some amazing cars, upgraded from a 2013 cruze
Thanks for the Christmas wishes, but it’s July dude The civic hatch rivals the GTI . Love the hot hatch version- drives like a car with the practicality of a SUV
Excellent overview as I'm in the market. Live in NYC haven't owned a car in 25 years. My last car was a 1990 Acura Integra that I loved-especially the manual transmission. This looks similar and well priced-I'd get the sport touring. Thanks for the excellent run through
Although I’m getting the sport touring here in a couple of days, this video helped ease my mind a little. I’m not leery of Honda, not at all, I had a 2016 civic coupe and that little car was such a good purchase. I ended up trading it in for a 2020 Challenger AWD, which was also funny because I was going in for a civic hatchback. The salesman sold it just before I got there(which did piss me off because I made the appointment for that specific car), and ended up with the 20 Challenger. Great car, and I honestly love it, but I drive a lot for work and need more space. I also wanted to get something that was feature rich so I went with the sport touring. Despite being a little bummed at saying goodbye to my challenger, I’m excited to get my civic. Honda does a great job. And for those ready to chastise me for getting rid of the challenger, it’s about mileage and making the car last. My chally has 50k miles now and I put almost 3k a month in just for work. I would kill that car in a year driving like that and I don’t want to. Plus I’m on the path to get something else with more power in a couple years. I’ll let someone else enjoy my challenger for a while.
Great video Kenny! Papa Smurf blue made me lol because I was thinking the same thing! 4 door hatchbacks like this are so good. Hoping that you are doing great!
Great review. Awaiting the '25 release as the front bumper has a design change. Now the question is Boost Blue or Rallye Red - keep going back and forth on those...
I own this same exact car. I will say the car makes a lot of noise in the interior. The dash and air vents creak so much when driving. But besides that I really love this car.
Had to wait almost 2 months for my local Honda dealer to receive a boost blue sport 6-speed. When I found out that they still made the K20C2 and a 6-speed I had to have one. If you really want a sport 6-speed you may have to wait for it.
I only wish Hatch's got more love from the aftermarket scene, only 1 exhaust option, hindsight being what it is i would have grabbed the sedan. Only for the lack of aftermarket love, great vehicle.
👍🏻👍🏻 Loved this one!!Hopefully you get a hold of a sport touring. It's night and day. It gives you enough power to really enjoy the amazing handling found on all the 11 gen's. I have had a white S. T. for 18 months 15k miles 3 oil changes & tire rotations. I am more convinced with each curve, freeway on-ramp and back road I have encountered I could not have made a better choice for the money.
Waitaminite... the "sport" version has the slower na engine? My 2024 EX-L has turbo vtec, blind spot indicators, sunroof, plus all leather interior .. so the Sport seems like a basic default cheapy version by comparison.
Exactly! I drove my ‘02 Civic LX (7th Gen) for 18 years. Finally bought a new ‘23 Civic Touring in January 2023 and it really is my only gripe about it. It’s HUGE - or at least, it seems so. I’m a small woman who needs a small car. As you said, the 11th gen Civics are the same size as the ‘90’s Accords! 🤯 Not a fan of that. But, Donut Media has some interesting information on why cars are getting bigger: m.ruclips.net/video/GjCxdmSL5jk/видео.html&pp=ygUgRG9udXQgbWVkaWEgY2FycyBnZXR0dGluZyBiaWdnZXI%3D
That's exactly what I wanted to get. I agree with the stock wheels. But the HR-V Sport came out, so the Urban Grey Pearl was better for what I want and need, but I would have both if I could... But the 2025 Civic is updated with new styling and improvements, but now I would get the new Sport Touring Hybrid Hatchback in this color if I don't get the HR-V Sport. Only the Sport & Sport Touring Hatchback has the available 6 Speed, not the Sedans. And after 2024, the 6 Speed will only be available on the Si & Type R for 2025. The base trim is the LX and will only be available in the Sedan for 2025. It's July 2024 when I am commenting now, and the 2025 Civic Sedans are coming out with the Hatchbacks later this summer. Along with the LX Sedan, but Sedan and Hatchback will have the Sport trim like this, a new Sport Hybrid & Sport Touring Hybrid w/ 200 horsepower and 232 ft/lbs torque. The 200 horsepower 1.5L turbo engine will still be available with the Si & the 300 horsepower 2.0L turbo on the Type R. The 2025 models will have refreshed front end styling, done chassis and mechanical improvements and other additional equipment, especially in the Sport Hybrid and Sport Touring Hybrid trims.
It’s a damn shame that there is no blind spot on the sport trim. This costs 26-27 grand msrp and that’s not even standard. I love Honda but they need to step it up in the Standard Safety features game.
I have the same exact car but ine white have it for about 6 months and its giving lots of problem. the passenger's seat belt buckle keeps making squeaking noise whenever I drive. the steering wheel make grinding noise when turning. whenever I break or accelerate the car feels like it jerks. bring to the dealership doesn't do anything cause they will just say theres nothing wrong with it. Also why is the range and fuel so bad when I first got it it was like 380mpg but now its 250mpg-280mpg. Idk if its just my white 2024 honda hatchback sport but if anyone having problems place tell me.
Ruff ride. Bouncy. I did pull 6 seconds on the 2.0 cvt. 7 to 8 is pretty standard now over 9 seconds. The Sedan looks better. And pressing the pedal just right is a art form. You don't floor modern injection.
Boring car, but I get that some people want basic point A to B transportation. I can’t really hate on the car; simply that I prefer cars with better handling, power, & overall driver feedback: BMW, MBZ, Cadillac V, or even Alfa Romeo.

Honda are the only few who can still get away with selling sedans because they build them very well.
They literally have two sedans for the US market. If they really built them "so well", wouldn't they have more? 😂
