I was camping in a Texas State Park. It was a very beautiful place. An 8-point buck walked into camp and stayed there for hours??? with his back turned to us and looking intently into the woods. The buck didn't care about us? I was able to approach it and got close. Then I saw it!! There was a Sasquatch, and the deer was on the menu. After a few hours of branch breaking and eye shine...the deer left. The deer knew he was safer with us.

Same thing happened to me. While hunting in the Stanislaus national Forest standing between a group of trees, I heard crashing sounds coming through the woods and out comes this doe scared $hitless, wild eyed, and out of breath. She ran up to me and parked yourself right next to me like a scared dog would. She obviously didn’t care that I was armed and hunting but something scared her. She thought I was the lesser of the two evils and this was before Steve. This was like in 1977. My first thought was it was a cougar, but now that I know what I know, I hate to think what it could’ve really have been. After about five minutes she left, and I never did see her and didn’t hear anything else after that, though it was strange to say the least.

I don't understand why so many people are scared of Boogers, especially people who work in the Wilderness areas of North America. I was raised around them in the 50's and they never bothered me or my great uncle. Before I was born, he got wasted on Moonshine and passed out in the Woods on his Farm and a Booger picked him up and carried him home-put him up on his high front porch as he lived almost on bank of Cache River here in AR... Yes they stole chickens-eggs, a hog sometimes and always corn out of his Garden but none never tried to harm us--of course my great uncle told me to never shoot one with my 22 rifle as they have a bad temper and might harm or kill me. I saw the Evidence of them Losing their Temper once when we were deer hunting in cold weather, we came upon an area in the woods about 10 ft. wide, maybe 40 ft. long where all the smaller trees--4-5 ins. in diameter were ripped from the ground or twisted into. I knew that a Tornado didn't do this as it was cold weather so I asked my uncle what could have done this destruction, he said, looked like a Booger had a Hissy Fit...

I have seen 8 maybe 9 in my life time. 6 of the Sabe people that I encounters were in El Dorado county the others were out of state. Reply to this and perhaps we can meet and I will tell you what I know about Sabe people. John Wunschel🤠>-W->
