If DJ Ukelele was NorveLLL's #1 QB target, then he's incompetent. It's also pretty telling that he has to rent an entire team out of the portal in year 5.
You can’t just keep taking L’s for the seniors. Do what’s best for the whole team. Right now that’s giving the young guns some snaps.
NIL is the unmentioned factor in all this. I understand Mike wants to be able to pitch loyalty to recruits, but playing the best players is an even better pitch in the long run.

DJU was awful at Clemson. We lived on pins and needles with DJU at the helm. My nerves stayed tore up.
I saw the writing on the wall when DJU transferred to FSU. They were going to experience the same pains that we at Clemson experienced for two years. DJ never developed as a player. He showed an initial promise in his first game at Clemson against Notre Dame, subbing for Trevor, but that was it.
Army scored 56 on Memphis one week after FSU scored 12 !!!

Born and raised in Florida and I did the war chant before I said mamma and I've haven't missed a home game since Danny McManus. DJ might be the worse QB I've ever seen at FSU.
He is the worst QB in FSU history, I don't think any other FSU quarterback has ever played this bad. Not one. Dan Kendra played better .

The whole Warchant media team finally sees how terrible DJU is and are backtracking on their statements. And I still cannot believe Corey, Ira, Tom and Jeff had him as the #1 player coming into this season. Whatever spell they had yall on I’m glad it’s finally wore off on you.
I think all those reasons are true.
I also think he feels a bit obligated to DJ and his family for bringing them here.

Brock isn't the future it's the other kid behind him that has better skills. The young freshman recruit this year.

Norvell refusal to start using either Brock or Luke has completely zapped any joy I had watching FSU football. The guy doesn't want to admit he messed up bringing in DJ. There is absolutely no need to keep rolling DJ out there out at the expense of the development of our future QBs.
What does this really say about Brock and Luke?

Norvell hasn't recruited a QB who did anything for FSU
LSU, OSU and now FSU...at what point do you drop the underperforming stock? DJ is SLOW at EVERYTHING. Pack up Norvell and his entire program and start over.

DJ cannot run Mikes offense. The RPO style needs a smart athletic QB. DJ is neither. If Mike insists on DJ, u have to change the offense to a drop back pro style.

He missed a wide open receiver late in the game. Over through him and it wasn't even close. He's not accurate.

Couldn’t agree more that DJ is not a quality starter, period. I’ve seen so many open guys that don’t get targeted. He’s super slow to process plays, doesn’t make good decisions when he does throw, is typically late on his throws, and finally he never runs n creates plays when things break down. DJ has been god awful and it’s affected our entire offense. And yes playing a different QB would fix a lot of issues, if not most of em. So I disagree vehemently with the Warchant staff. Not for nothing guys but you’ve been by n large wrong on most of your coverage of this program. You guys didn’t trust JTrav or Johnny Wilson. Yall hyped this team a ton during the offseason n now everyone wonders what the heck Yall saw at practice smh. I appreciate Yall but I’m not putting any value on the opinions.

Norvell wants to win with his own QB - his first move decline scholarship of Jeff sims - who came down here and beat us as a freshman GT -he preferred Chubba Purdy over everyone he had on roster

He did not like Jordan so he brought in McKenzie - Norvell is disloyal everyone who was recruited and made it to FSU prior to Norvell was better than what Norvell brought in. He was not loyal to Tate and he left but he was better than DJ - and Norvell has him looking worse than ever.
We would be 4- 0 if Tate was here.

NO I could not disagree more with what was said at the 1:30 mark. DJU was ALWAYS this bad. The only reason that Clemson overcame it is that there was a ton of talent and a good defense. He did okay with Oregon State because they had a good run game and played a lot of nobodies. He has not been good since his freshman year. I was a grad assistant at Clemson that year and I can tell you from seeing it myself that the kid is amazing at practice. He doesn't miss receivers, he works so hard, he has the best attitude on the field, he stays late and gets there first, and he studies and knows his stuff. And the minute that the game starts he forgets everything, gets lead feet, the game goes too fast for him, and he gets the yips. And he slows EVERYONE down with him. At practice it looks fine, but if you look at practice tapes compared to other years with TLaw or DWat he is SO MUCH slower than they were, but since everyone is walking through at 3/4 speed it doesn't show in practice. He is a total bust and no amount of coaching or effort is going to fix it. If it was it would have happened. The kid's problem has never been effort or work ethic. It is the yips plain and simple.
By the way we had an all-star lineup of receivers for him to use and they ALL LOOKED BAD when he threw to them. If 12 players who were great the year before ALL look terrible, its time to look at the common denominator. His rhythm is off and his pass is hard to catch because of it (not to mention the fact that it is never placed right and receivers have to break routes to get them). That is why your receivers look bad
I seen three games of DJ and I've seen enough he needs to sit on the bench you got a more athletic quarterback in Brock and I'm sorry you can't convince me that Brock score 14 points against California
You have nothing to lose now. Brock and Luke need game reps. Money has to be a factor at this point. Norvell made his bed with DJU, now he has to sleep in it.
All I need DJ to do is get the ball to the receivers, NOT to the defenders hands.
THE BUSINESS OF FOOTBALL 101...The "OFFENSIVE LINE" has to control the line of scrimmage for at least 5 sec's and that's the bare minimum! This accomplishes 2 key things in any kind of pass offense. #1 the QB can read the field. #2 The WR's will have time to run basic routes or utilize their speed to blow by the defense. WITHOUT THIS! THERE IS NO PASS OFFENSE, THE QB WILL BE RUSHED/SACKED AND HIS READS WILL BE REDUCED TO SHORT THROWS, AND IF THE PASS GAME IS OFF HE SHOULD DUMP THE BALL TO HIS TIDE END. BUT IF YOU SHOULD DISCOVER THAT THE TE CANT CATCH. THEN WHO'S LEFT TO CATCH THE FOOTBALL? RBS? KEEP IN MIND THEY ARE RB'S FOR A REASON...FAILURE , AFTER FAILURE , AFTER FAILURE, OFFENSIVELY THIS IS NOT AN FSU PRODUCT WORTHY OF THE PRACTICE FIELD. TO SAY THE LEAST DJU HAS MADE A FEW ERRORS AT TIMES BUT I LIKED HIS FILM FROM OREGON STATE ON WHOLE AND HE LOOKED COMPETENT AS A PASSER. I KNOW HES TRYING TO BE SILENT ABOUT THE O-LINE PLAY, BUT MY GOD DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND WATCH THE L -SIDE OF FSU OFFENSIVE LINE...THEN GET BACK TO ME ABOUT DJU. IT IS MY OPINION THAT THE STAFF AT FSU HAS FAILD THEMSELVES, THE PLAYERS, AND THE FANS OF THIS TEAM. ANY QB WHO STEPS UP TO TAKE A SNAP BEHIND THIS O-LINE NEEDS TO HAVE HIS MOUTH GUARD IN AND HIS CHIN STRAPS TIGHT.

Noevell did the QB carousel with JT and Mckenzie and JT wasn't even playing bad football. And now you're telling us he can't do that now with a more mobile QB in Brock? Tell the people we're this makes any sense. Give the young guy some playing time that's all the fans want.
Put his big ass on the bench he runs faster in that little video. You just saw him at practice. Then he runs in a football game. He is embarrassingly scared to run the football quarterback.
If Norvell plays a green neophyte Qb like Glenn, Norvell will lose this team completely and players will quit like they did prior to the Orange Bowl.
It would be a total disaster to put Glenn behind a porous O-line, with no running game and receivers that drop more balls than they can catch.
Norvell has no confidence at all in Glenn and don't be surprised to see him hit the Portal soon. FSU fans need to grow up and stop crying about replacing DJU with Glenn, because that latter has no future as starting quarterback at FSU. Look for Norvell to hit the portal again for a starting quarterback for FSU next season. DJU made a big mistake coming to FSU with a team that has no running backs or good receivers who are the best of the unwanted at any other top twenty program. The future of FSU football with Memphis Norvell is Bleak and Grim. No Cap. Truth Hurts.

Why has DJU become the Tua of FSU? I really like DJ, and rooted for him for the last seven months to ignite this offense. But Norvell’s stubbornness reminds me off Bobby’s blind loyalty to Chris Rix (f***!) and Jeff Bowden (5X f***!). Enough already … I walked away from FSU because of Bowden’s utter unwillingness to make necessary changes, and I’ll do it again (this from an alum - so sad).

Why bring in Brock only to have him sit behind transfer DJU and not develop. Who is the future QB of this team? DJU is not going to give this organization a winning chance, especially against power teams. Brock showed grit in the ACC Championship and deserves a shot as starter.
At 3 losses SO FAR, fsu is locked out of any recognizable bowl. The rest of this season is a glorified practice.
