    4:56 the frosted lemon probably contains tin. If you put a glaze with chrome next to it it can flash pink.

    Your ancient copper looks great it has that patina look too it. I have gone for the shiny copper look lately but the patina look goes well with a lot of glazes.

      Thanks. Yes ancient copper certainly varies a lot with different firing schedules!

    Thank you for sharing - love the frosted lemon mugs! About the Satin White glaze, by any chance do you keep track of your specific gravity? I am looking for a different liner glaze and this seems like a good one, would love to know how much water to add...

      Gosh I’m embarrassed to admit I don’t check specific gravity. I believe I usually go 10 to 9 ratio on dry ingredients to water. So 10kg of dry would take 9kg of water.

      Thanks! They are about 2.5” high by about 3.5” across. I use about 275 grams of clay to make them.

    Beautiful work! What is the yellow glaze at the bottom of the black with Jens juicy? Also the glaze on the top that looks dark amber over the firebrick red?

    • @finklepottery704
      @finklepottery704  Год назад

      Not sure about the black ? The firebrick red had a rim dipped in temmoku gold first. It created the amber
