Awwww, thanks again for the shout-out, Lisa! I have another eggplant, seaweed, olive float piece on white clay waiting to go in the kiln, so we'll see how that turns out. I think yours is just lovely. My 'soft seaweed with hints of eggplant' could've been a one-time gift from the kiln gods! 😂 Love the Winter Wood save on those overfired mugs! They look very nice! Great kiln opening. Everything is beautiful! Happy Creating!
Another great firing Lisa! That addition of winterwood was perfect and I like that toasty look! River birch, Root beer you have the combo's working for you. Thanks so much for sharing and I love watching the kiln openings too. Nothing beats seeing a beautifully glazed item come out of our kilns! Well done.......😁
Another beautiful load of pots! Thank you for posting your unloading - I get such enjoyment watching kiln unloads, and yours are always so informative.
What a great surprise! Another kiln opening!! Wow these are just gorgeous!! I would love to see how you make the white glaze. I was talking to my husband last night about making some of my own glazes because the cost is just ridiculous! I was glazing yesterday and have a bunch of mugs that I just couldn’t decide on what to glaze but now I do!! I LOOOVE THE deep sienna speckle mugs you made! I’ll be trying that out today after I load my bisque kiln! Thank you so much. I’m really excited.
Thanks Michele! Yes the deep sienna speckle is lovely. I also love it on brown clays, it becomes deeper but still very vibrant. Stay tuned! A glaze video is on my todo list.

Such wonderful work thank you for sharing please post that white glaze recipe I live in Ontario and only an hour from Tuckers
Thanks. White glaze video coming soon!
Love your videos! Which root beer glaze is that you are using?
It is. Coyote root beer. A great glaze.
Could wax resist safe your lettering from drips ?
Unfortunately I don’t think so. Wax burns off before glaze starts to melt.
Great work from DoveCreekPottery. What is PEI girl
I ussome of the same glazes
PEI stand for Prince Edward island where I live 😊
