I think the ship within a ship concept has become a must for the behemoth-sized ships. I can’t imagine sailing with the population of a small town and finding it relaxing. I’m for smaller ships.
Yes indeed I have and the changes were made because the ship was avoiding a hurricane. Like you I didn’t complain because the changes made were for our safety and I got to go to some ports I had never been to before.
I’ve only been to Grand Turk once but we both loved it. Not a bad change for sure. But the way I see it is I’d rather be on a cruise with an amended itinerary than at home doing chores 🤣
We are set to embark on our cruise vacation in 2 days, Sunday September 29th from Port Canaveral. I bid on the upgrade to the Yacht Club and got it. My husband doesn’t know yet. We’ve never had this sort of experience before. I wanted to learn about it and found your video. It has been very helpful along with other people’s comments. It’s my 70th birthday cruise (October 3). Thank you for your helpful, informative videos.
LOVE the Yacht Club! One tip that our butler gave us was about Ocean Cay. When returning to the ship, put your blue YC towel somewhere noticeable (ie, over your shoulders) as the crew is trained to ‘spot’ YC guests and they will quickly come steer you in around the crowds. Also: tell your cabin steward exactly what you like ie, a certain alcohol, ice bucket always filled, preferences in the minibar, etc. I told them I love their chocolates, and every night ended up with a generous amount of chocolates in my cabin :) The one thing I would maybe change is the embarkation….a different entrance maybe? While it was super fast, it felt uncomfortable bypassing all the other (non-YC) guests, especially those who did not know why we were being escorted in past the regular line and getting all those dirty looks! Hope the sea wasnt too rough with Helene. Have a great time!
I agree with the entrance also getting on and off the ship but all in all it was a good experience for us and much cheaper than RC Celebrity and Norwegian

We recently disembarked MSC seashore on October 6, 2024… We had a wonderful time in the yacht club… It is our third Yacht Club experience and we have cruised four other MSC ships since 2017… We are looking forward to our next Yacht Club experience… This was a very good video especially for Cruisers needing answers to Yacht Club questions… yacht Club has definitely exceeded our expectations… However we are learning that not all experiences are the same… With this past one being our best… Glad you got to experience Yacht Club🚢
I booked a cruise for my wife and I for her 40th bday in 2 weeks and decided to bid on an upgrade to yacht club and won so glad we get to experience this!
You should have been treated better without the upgrade. Play it forward this keeps up it will all be Yacht club class and they have to come up with another class..............
@@tonyintrevado8960Not on the MSC ships cos they already have that. They've built other ships that are entirely the Yacht Club experience- EXPLORA JOURNEYS.
You definitely get what you pay for! We have booked a “Concierge” level on our Oceania cruise and it includes priority embarkation and access to the spa lounge and concierge lounge. We are not into partying and noise and want to enjoy relaxing and quiet areas. Not sure I would want a butler though.
I've done MSC Seashore 3X since over the past 3 months. If you haven't done it, the Thermal Spa is tremendous. It's a necessity for me. You are going to love the yacht club on the private island. Top notch. Btw the yacht club has ruined my wife she will never go back to the other side. Lol.
That's funny. My husband calls me Princess because we flew first class once, now I refuse to go coach.lol He will probably not let me cruise in the yacht club.
Hey Illana, thank you for the information on the Yacht Club. If we were ever to travel MSC again Yacht Club is the only way I would go. I did not realize how few people there are actually in Yacht Club, sounds really great. I hope you enjoy the little time left on your cruise and can get in some real relaxation and put your work aside. You're like the Energizer Bunny but everyone needs some "off time" too. Happy cruising.
We just went on the Seaside and got upgraded to the Yacht club. Loved it ! Actually the first time we have enjoyed the pool for an extended amount of time on a cruise ship. It is well worth the extra cost if one can afford it. Thanks for your review , only makes us want to book another MSC cruise.
Hmm that sounds interesting- did you ask for an upgrade? Anyway I have never used the pools on any of our cruises - but perhaps in the yacht club 😂. We always try to do some sort of beach or private beach excursion however to get our beach fix in
I just priced the YC by picking a sailing at random and it’s really not too bad for all of the perks - the private butler alone seems well worth it! I’m definitely going to consider this for our next cruise. Can’t wait to see the full review video!
We will be taking our second MSC YC trip in December. It’s the only way we will travel. We booked an interior YC room and saved about $1,200! Yes, the room is smaller and no balcony but honestly, when you’re in YC, you don’t have to fight for a deck chair or wait in ridiculous lines for food or drink. We won’t be spending much time in our room anyways so why not.
I've been cruising for so long that I remember when the entire ship was like Yacht Club service. I still enjoy cruising but I do really miss the service and meals from 20 years ago. Great video for YT. I'm heading out on the MSC Seaside in Aurea class in December and looking forward to it.
I will be taking my second MSC Yacht Club cruise in December. My first experience was on the MSC Euribia and my next cruise will be the MSC Seascape. I throughly enjoy the amenities and the small ship feeling. Yacht Club is a wonderful way to enjoy a cruise.
I'm about to sail MSC Meravilia for the first time...and in the Yacht club. So this was very helpful. -- Grand Turk is one of my all-time favourite islands.
About itinerary changes ... I was on an NCL Caribbean cruise with the first stop at Bermuda this past January. Due to bad weather, the ship's captain decided to skip Bermuda and simply continued onto the next port. Since I had been to Bermuda multiple times (both via air travels and sea travels), I did not mind skipping it at all. Plus we got to have an extra sea day ... I just LOVE sea days!!! I love being out in the middle of nowhere, temporarily disconnected from everything (well, other than my fellow cruisers and what's going on on the ship, that is.) 😊
We heard negative and good comments. We went on Seashore April 2024, loved it...food was ok though. So we tried yacht club in July 2024 and absolutely loved it! Being able to see the excitement of the ship and then come back to serenity, is wonderful. The staff make it the best, from the room butlers to the director. We have booked again on the same itinerary in January for yacht club. It's definitely worth the cost... only way I will travel. Can't wait to do a Spain trip.
Yes, we've had itinerary changes, due to Hurricanes. It was all good, better to be safe than sorry. We've done a Sky Suite , which is part of the Retreat on Celebrity. Sounds very similar to your experience in the Yacht Club. It was absolutely fabulous - sigh!
Oh so happy your doing this! We have been playing with the idea of doing YC its price tag is up there and we were not really sure it was worth the cost...looking forward for your full review! Seascape is actually our best liked ship!!...viv
Twice cruised with MSC... both times were upgraded to Yacht Club for slight fee... price was about 25% of what would have been paid if booked YC originally... your 3 day review is so spot on... we have about 40 cruises under our belt so we are able to appreciate quality... everything about YC is wonderful... better than any other cruise line special area (Celebrity, NCL etc.)... very much looking forward to your review following you 7 days...
I agree I have only sailed recently on MSC in the YC and for the price compared to my favorite line it is unbeatable on RC you have to be in Star Class to get a similar experience
We've had one itinerary changed. There was a storm and we couldn't go to the private island so we went to Key West instead. People were not happy about it and they were very rude to the cruise director. We wrre able to go up to him later and tell him hecdid a great job and knew it wasnt his fault. He was appreciative. We were actually excited about the change, but probably the only ones. I say safety first.
I have to say, I have heard such mixed reviews about MSC that I cannot bite the bullet and book it. I think the only way I would book it, at least for the time being, would be if we were sailing in Yacht Club. We have sailed in NCL's Haven before, so it would be a fun comparison. I definitely liked going from the hustle and bustle of the main part of the ship and then retreating to the quiet. Looking forward to seeing more about what you think of Yacht Club!
I also didn’t like all the tiered systems BUT I do understand it and if people want to pay $$ than that is their choice. I try to avoid some cruise ships if I think they are a “party” ship only and also prefer less kids as we have done all that years ago - doesn’t mean I want totally quiet either. So far have been very happy with basic cabin etc. will be on the Seashore and checked out Yacht Club at double our cruise rate so nope! Instead will put towards another cruise 😊
I LOVE your videos!! Does MSC give points in the casino to help you get upgrades and/or free cruises? We’ve been sailing on Royal Caribbean because we keep getting free cruises.
I cruised on NCL Sky in August between Hurricanes Debby and Ernesto. Prior to embarkment, the itinerary changed from eastern to western Caribbean. At first many passengers were unhappy but later they seemed satisfied with the outcome. I was indifferent as that was my first cruise. As long I was out of the house, I was satisfied. I was informed that possibly there was a cost differential between the two itineraries as the eastern Caribbean is more than the western one. I raised the issue with NCL but have yet to receive a reply. It has been nearly 30 days since I filed my complaint.
This MSC yacht club sounds absolutely remarkable! Sounds so peaceful nice and relaxing and magical experience. 💛👻🖤🖤🖤💛🎃🎃👻🤎🤎🍃🍂🍂👻💛🖤👻🎃🛳️🛳️🛳️🛳️🎃👻🖤🎃🛳️🛳️🖤🖤🖤🛳️🖤🖤🖤🖤🛳️👻👻💛🍂🤎🍁🍁🍁🍁🤎🍂🍃👻💛👻🍃🍁👻🖤🖤🖤💛💛🤎🍂🍂🎃🎃🎃👻👻🛳️🛳️🍃🍃
As for port changes, they’ve been positive and without much explanation. I get the hurricane issue but otherwise, I’m not sure what other decisions are at play. All the swaps have worked out well in my opinion. But what if one was the focus of the trip? For example: Santa Barbara cancelled on three cruises - substituted Astoria 2x, and Los Angeles Carmel cancelled - substituted with Avalon Gibraltar cancelled - substituted with Ceuta Grand Turk cancelled - substituted with Cabo Rojo Brest cancelled - substituted with extra time in LeHavre.
We had an itinerary change on a cruise in May 2024 to Alaska. We were supposed to stop in Skagway, but there was port construction that prevented us from docking, so we went to Icy Strait Point instead, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
NEVER APOLOGISE for sharing an outside view from a cruise balcony :) It's great to see some of the vistas possible from such wonderful vantage points :) Likewise, never apologise for recording a story from inside a cabin... I, and I believe most people here, LOVE seeing the different views :) Enjoy your cruise and can't wait to see the rest of this episode (I paused as soon as I heard your apology to write this :) )
The Yacht Club experience does look wonderful, but it's worth noting that this experience is VERY different to MSC for the regular passengers elsewhere. I'd love to try it at some point - must be wonderful! Great overview, Ilana!
@@JBM425 overall the experience was great. There were a few minor disappointments though. The vast majority of the staff were amazing and did everything they could to make sure you got what you needed and wanted, the concierge especially. The food in the Haven restaurant I’d say was better than all the specialty restaurants and it had the best bar though some nights a little crowded if you wanted to sit at the bar. If booking the Haven, I’d recommend staying in the Haven proper. Ours was outside of it and we ended up spending a bit of time waiting for the elevators to get up to the Haven, there was no priority access for that. Otherwise there was priority access for everything else. The two biggest disappointments were that NCL at that price point still tries to nickel and dime you for add-ons. The other was the butler service, our butler was MIA for most of the cruise, we saw her 2-3 times total. She essentially restocked our mini bar and brought snacks while we were out. The few times we called her to ask for something, she would refer us to the concierge or the room steward, or just said our request couldn’t be accommodated (like having a bath drawn for my wife). We decided to do room service one day and none of the promised white cloth table service was provided, our food was dropped off, covered in the table, which wasn’t cleared of all the little snacks. Though I heard others had a better experience with their butler and yet others affirmed our experience. I guess hit and miss. There were other little things I didn’t like but that’s what you’re paying for is not to worry about anything, including the little things.
Just recently missed small cruise on Ha Long Bay due to super typhoon Yagi. Also missed 2 ports in New Zealand last year on the Trans pacific repositioning cruise due to bad weather 🤷🏼♀️. Just what it is. Safety first
My wife and I are Royal Caribbean fan but, we did book a Yacht Club Deluxe suite on the Meraviglia out of Brooklyn next December. We cannot wait to try it out, we have heard nothing but good things about it so far.
Thank you for the video. Questions: Can you drop your luggage off by car and then go park? Can you see the TV from the bed? I noticed it was by the couch. How do you order the pizza? Also, have you had the butler escort you to shows (do you need reservations in YC)? Loved all of your outfits. Everyone looked so nice. Thanks again!
I imagine you can drop off your luggage and then go park. YC crew is all about making it as accommodating as you need. One thing I heard but did not experience myself (didn’t ask) is that your butler will even unpack for you. Not sure if this is still true, but I’m all for them doing this (since it’s just a matter of taking out the packing cubes from my luggage lol). @lifewellcruised did you hear about / use this perk?
@@LifeWellCruised I was going to mention that. In YC one can go to the concierge desk and ask for an escort to the shows, and they will lead you to dedicated Yacht Club seating area. We've been on YC on Meraviglia, Seascape and Seashore. My DW absolutely loves it, and we feel it's a great value for what you receive.
We've had a few itinerary changes over the years and they were all due to weather issues. We've missed ports, stayed in Yokohama 24 hours waiting for a typhoon to pass, circled in the Med for 24 hours due to high winds at Barcelona, and had extra days at sea from time to time.
We dont have that same experience in Europe. Here in YC- the muster drill - we must go to our allocated meeting points once the drills announced. (ours was the Casino )
I was going to book the yacht club but our suite was forward. Are there suites in the yacht club in the aft? I then booked NCL haven which I have been on before. It would be great if you ever do the Haven the pros and cons of both in your opinion. Would love your honest opinion in the two ships in ships.
I've heard nothing good about MSC. Personally, I've never sailed on MSC. I'm a TA and all of my clients who have sailed MSC refuse to ever sail with them again. Your video and honest review of The Yacht Club has me thinking that I should consider giving MSC a try.
I appreciate your comments. We actually tried MSC for ourselves on this same ship 6 months ago & truly didn’t know what to expect. However, knowing there’s something for everyone, we really liked a lot about it. Here’s more info (regular cabin) in case it can be helpful as the line has evolved the last couple of years :) ruclips.net/video/2hhiatVaXok/видео.htmlsi=oggYaE9ztTQW5j1H
Yacht Club is the only way to go. And on the Seashore (and I believe the Seaside) the restaurant is in the same YC area so you don’t have to go off wandering through the rest of the ship to get to your VIP YC restaurant. And, YC has its own swimming pool which is NEVER crowded. All this to say that in essence, you really don’t ever have to leave the YC if you don’t want to. But if you do, your butler will escort you. It’s pretty great, and the only way I’ll do MSC.
We did a Mediterranean cruise with MSC a few years ago and even back then heard some negativity BUT we totally enjoyed it. Fabulous itinerary, great food and met some great people. We are fairly easy going people but this cruise did come after a Disney cruise which was fabulous so there is that. Trying out MSC for a Caribbean cruise in November so will see how that goes ( not Yacht Club).
We sailed MSC for the first time time in the YC and it was a very good experience to receive the service we got you have the in Star Class on RC or the Heaven on Norwegian but I am giving YC the edge
We just booked MSC Meraviglia out of Brooklyn today. Husband no longer wants to fly so this is the only way we can get to an island beach. I booked yacht club based on experience of a friend who is also a non-cruiser like we are, and the various positive review videos online. I love your videos and cruise content - very informative for us newbies. I was very excited to see that you were sailing the yacht club and we would get your great reviews. Keep the details coming! Thank you.
We are considering this yacht club ship/itinerary too! No need to spend $2000 to fly in the day before and stay at an overpriced hotel. When are you going????
Enjoy that YC. Been on 7 MSC cruises, first one was the DIVINA and had a suite Next 6 was in the YC and enjoyed everyone. I'm booked for next year on their new ship America in the YC can't wait
We are going on our third msc is march and was thinking of going on the seaside in January and maybe trying the yacht club. Do they have the entertainment and music by the pool or is it more quiet? That would be the only thing I would miss. Definitely wouldn’t miss the buffet in the regular area!
I was wondering about you guys! We went on quickly & when I didn’t see you by the next day I had a feeling. I felt so bad. Please send me an email if you can - hope there’s a make up cruise for you both (lifewellcruised@gmail.com)
Hi, I love your videos. I have spend a lot of money since I have been watching them. I have been on 47 cruises. I wish I would have known about all the great items you recommend sooner. I see in this video you are using Nomad Lane Tote and the Bento Bag. I have not seen you talk about them. Can you please do a video about them. Thanks!
We are thinking about booking an MSC cruise in the future but I have seen from other vloggers that the food is not good and service is very slow in the MDR and at some of the bars took a whiel to get a drink. I'd like to know if you go o the MDR for any meals how the. quality of food is and how attentive the wait staff is. Keep in mind we are toaking our first cruise in december so we are new to the whole concept of crusing, but are hopeful that we love it . additionally i love your conent and have learned so much about what to expect so I don't really feel like we will be a first time cruiser so thank you for all your advice and tips. hopefully some day we can be on a cruise with you and be able to meet you.
Nice, I am on Magnifica as well. Side by side with Seascape in Nassau and its almost time to leave. Getting ready to book on Seascape for next year! Enjoy!
In March when I sailed on the Carnival Magic we were supposed to go to Costa Maya, however, due to the winds we couldn't dock so we ended up with an extra sea day
Thanks for this Video. You answered a lot of my questions!! One question, did you have to go to a card terminal so you can buy things onboard or was it like your like cruise if you entered your credit card online you were covered? Also, can you visit the chocolate store, it just fascinates me based on the descriptions I have seen !! Glad you, Ethan and Hubby are safe from the storm !!
Great question! I did add my card to the atm style card terminal. Lol, that chocolate store, Venchi, looks like a dream. Every night we get more chocolate delivered to our cabin 😂. I’ll try & go there tomorrow & show it in another video :)
It’s pricier than a “regular” cabin, but less expensive than a luxury cruise. I’m collaborating with MSC on this cruise, so they have booked it for me, but looking into it it’s not as pricey as I expected
I can tell you from experience that it’s a lot cheaper than The Retreat on Celebrity. I’m not saying they’re exactly the same, so it’s like comparing apples and oranges, but if you want to try the ship within a ship experience, MSC is probably the cheapest way to do it. We’ve always wanted to stay in one of the Edge Villas on the Celebrity Edge class ships, but it’s too expensive, so we’re trying out the Duplex Suite with hot tub on the MSC World Europa. It’s a third of the price of the Edge Villa for the same length sailing in the same month in the Med 😀
IF I ever do MSC the Yacht Club is the only way I’ll go. It suits me since I became disabled; plus I’m retired now and I want a more relaxing experience. And yes I’ve had an itinerary change back on the Bliss in 2018. Had NOTHING to do with weather. In fact, many of us who were in an impromptu Cruise Critic/Facebook group had wondered WHY we were still allegedly stopping in this popular Mexican port that was then ranked on the “OMG DON’T GO” State Department warning list. For reasons. 😅 About 6 weeks before the cruise, NCL finally switched to another port, supposedly for “fuel optimization” 😂Yeah. Sure. Whatever works.
I have not cruised yet but we have 3 scheduled over the next 2 years. I wish I knew about ship mate and how it will show you alerts for cruise discounts before I had scheduled our first cruise which I feel I paid too much. do you know anyway to get lower cruise fairs? like is there a certain time of year that there is sales?
I have yet to do MSC. Been right next to them on the dock. Fun people on their balcony's and we just chatted. I had dislocated my knee and MSC had no desire to go play. They loved their trip as did aye..lol
I just returned from a Royal cruise. We paid $18 per person per day. When we ordered from the bar we were charged 18%, who gets the 18%, the bar crew or Royal?
The rack rate price varies but usually the baseline for an interior YC room (which is what we usually do) is $250 to $350 per person per night. That being said, the earlier you book the better the price. And when you look at the included perks (the premium drink packages, the priority embarkation, wifi, a bottle of liquor for your room) the value is definitely there for what you pay for... Especially if you bid for a YC upgrade and get it (which usually allows you to get in for a lot less than rack rate). Also, if you book the YC direct, and want some extra room, ask for an accessible interior suite. It has a lot more space (and as a family with some mobility issues, it is necessary and no extra cost).
All the negative comments sound like envy to me. Leave be those who want their experience and don't mind paying. They have just saved more towards paying for their experience. Besides. Some people are in an INSIDE CABIN in Yacht club. I paid 3098 euros for BOTH of us in 2023 on a 2024 sailing from NYC. We get tonnes more compared to RCI & NCL in a normal category. I cant justify their prices anymore.
My itinerary changes have been safety related -- political issues. 1) RC swapped Athens and Crete because, there were demonstrations in Athens on our original day. 2) HAL canceled Colon, Panama due to demonstrations/riots. 3) Oh, and HAL canceled Sydney, Nova Scotia due to high winds. I was disappointed about the two canceled stops, but I understood.
I will be on a MSC cruise,it’s a couples christian cruise to pubertal plata Dominican Republic, San Juan Porto Rico and charlottes Amalie feb. I heard good and bad about MSC. What does it cost to go to the yacht club?
You can look at your specific sailing area fares will vary. There’s no bad choice, but if you appreciate a more upscale & serene experience, consider checking it. You’ll enjoy I’m sure either way
I did see a cruise ship called Azuma, something like that that had most everything the Yacht club has. Can you say how much more it is over the cruise price please?

It’s true cruises have changed as they have gotten popular & ships are larger. Thanks for sharing & have an amazing cruise!
So true they’ve accommodated the masses and now have to pay premium for what used to be standard service
LOL when I cruised in the early 80's service was worse imo.
I will be taking my second MSC Yacht Club cruise in December. My first experience was on the MSC Euribia and my next cruise will be the MSC Seascape. I throughly enjoy the amenities and the small ship feeling. Yacht Club is a wonderful way to enjoy a cruise.
I can definitely see why people book it again! Enjoy
I'm about to sail MSC Meravilia for the first time...and in the Yacht club. So this was very helpful. -- Grand Turk is one of my all-time favourite islands.
Can’t wait to see the rest of your cruise.
Good to know! Thanks for sharing your experience
Totally agree love the YC after sailing suites on RC Celebrity and Norwegian it is really the best deal all around
Great review as always
Love thiss..every summer I pull out my little black luxrul clutch and this summer I'm coming out with new heels so that will be my summer wear.

The best offer of ship in a ship at sea!! Best value for money as well!
We hear this a lot! Thanks for sharing
Great video Ilana!
To have that getaway oasis on a ship is absolutely awesome no matter what the cruise brings. 😊
Totally agree!
That sounds fabulous 👏
I agree I have only sailed recently on MSC in the YC and for the price compared to my favorite line it is unbeatable on RC you have to be in Star Class to get a similar experience
Thank you for the video, I'm doing seashore YC on Nov 3 im so excited
I haven’t done Haven yet, but I think that would likely be a fair comparison
The cabin looks huge, love it ❤
I cruised on NCL Sky in August between Hurricanes Debby and Ernesto.

@@LifeWellCruised I am definitely checking it out when I on MSC crusies 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
As for port changes, they’ve been positive and without much explanation. I get the hurricane issue but otherwise, I’m not sure what other decisions are at play. All the swaps have worked out well in my opinion. But what if one was the focus of the trip?
For example:
Santa Barbara cancelled on three cruises - substituted Astoria 2x, and Los Angeles
Carmel cancelled - substituted with Avalon
Gibraltar cancelled - substituted with Ceuta
Grand Turk cancelled - substituted with Cabo Rojo
Brest cancelled - substituted with extra time in LeHavre.
Love the white table linens!! Beautiful ship!!
Us too!
Thank you for the View! 🏖
I knew that you would enjoy Yacht Club. You will really see the difference in the experience when you get to Ocean Cay. Have a wonderful time!
We had an itinerary change on a cruise in May 2024 to Alaska. We were supposed to stop in Skagway, but there was port construction that prevented us from docking, so we went to Icy Strait Point instead, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Seems amazing - thank you for sharing!
It’s been great - more info to come/ thanks for watching
Just wondering about tips. Did you tip everyone or is that added in your price?
NEVER APOLOGISE for sharing an outside view from a cruise balcony :)
It's great to see some of the vistas possible from such wonderful vantage points :)
Likewise, never apologise for recording a story from inside a cabin...
I, and I believe most people here, LOVE seeing the different views :)
Enjoy your cruise and can't wait to see the rest of this episode (I paused as soon as I heard your apology to write this :) )
@@NicholasPyers awe thanks!!
The Yacht Club experience does look wonderful, but it's worth noting that this experience is VERY different to MSC for the regular passengers elsewhere.
I'd love to try it at some point - must be wonderful! Great overview, Ilana!
We’ve recently done NCL’s Haven and are curious to try MSC’s Yacht Club. Looking forward to your reviews.
Awesome to hear
What was your experience like, and how much more did you pay compared to a comparable cabin outside of The Haven?
Safety first
Can’t wait to do the yacht club. Thanks!
Hope you enjoy it!
Just wondering how much would that cost? Would live to do one.😊
@@user-ej9qy9mz6f it depends on the sail date and ship, but checking prices it’s more accessible than many of us might think
Im curious about the Spa services. Is it also included?
Spa services are not included but you do get access to the Thermal Suite if you are booked in the Yacht Club
Thank you 😊
@@criscrikaofficial but if you’re in the yacht club, you get 10% off of a spa service
My wife and I are Royal Caribbean fan but, we did book a Yacht Club Deluxe suite on the Meraviglia out of Brooklyn next December. We cannot wait to try it out, we have heard nothing but good things about it so far.
Sounds great! Please let me know how it goes
Ask your butler about getting dedicated seating in shows....
👏👏
@@LifeWellCruised I was going to mention that. In YC one can go to the concierge desk and ask for an escort to the shows, and they will lead you to dedicated Yacht Club seating area. We've been on YC on Meraviglia, Seascape and Seashore. My DW absolutely loves it, and we feel it's a great value for what you receive.
The actually escort you to the different events also
I meant they
We've had a few itinerary changes over the years and they were all due to weather issues.
That would be fun in the future! Yes suites on this ship are forward but I must say this ship is very stable (for us)
I've heard nothing good about MSC.

Thanks for sharing! I’ve never done an MSC cruise before. Is the yacht club a lot more expensive?
It’s pricier than a “regular” cabin, but less expensive than a luxury cruise. I’m collaborating with MSC on this cruise, so they have booked it for me, but looking into it it’s not as pricey as I expected
@@LifeWellCruised awesome!!! Thank u!!
They loved their trip as did aye..lol
lol that’s a funny way to meet people! Glad you all enjoyed it 👏
Is there a big upcharge for getting a room in the yacht club?
Yes.
Yes
Is Yacht Club in a balcony cabin significantly more than a traditional balcony cabin? Thank you!
It’s more, but a lot is included
I just returned from a Royal cruise. We paid $18 per person per day. When we ordered from the bar we were charged 18%, who gets the 18%, the bar crew or Royal?
I was on aa 5 stop cruise in which we could only make 2 stops.. The cruise line comped us 30 percent of our total cruise. Which I hear is quite rare.
That is rare, thanks for sharing
How much is yacht club? Is it like the retreat on Celebrity?
Prices can vary, but yes similar in concept
@@JosephDickersonUX thank you, you are right, that's not a bad price at all.
Interior yacht club? On Celebrity more exclusive you need a suite or mini suite
How much more is yacht club then a regular room?
We paid $5700
This was for a balcony but the interior cabins are about $3500 it also depends on the time you sail
Oh my! Thanks for sharing
Can you say how much it is per night?
Yacht club makes more sense than roller coasters and trampolines
Couldn’t stop at Grand Cayman last Dec. Rough seas, couldn’t tender
Unfortunately it can happen with tender ports 😢
I will be on a MSC cruise,it’s a couples christian cruise to pubertal plata Dominican Republic, San Juan Porto Rico and charlottes Amalie feb. I heard good and bad about MSC. What does it cost to go to the yacht club?
