My favorite thing about fishing is it is a way for everyone to get outdoors and enjoy their time and it's affordable for everyone. Yes you can go out and buy expensive rod and reels, lures, tackle boxes and boats which I have but I spent most of my childhood fishing with a cheap Walmart Shakespeare fishing pole for less the 20 dollars a dollar package of hooks and nightcrawlers I caught in my back yard. I've caught a lot of fish that way growing up

People are inconsiderate when it comes throwing trash out the window... pisses me off. Thank you for taking the time to set the example! We all should do the same, just one bag... please, for each other.
Pretty trusting to sleep that close to the road exposed. Not that I've not slept near a road, hope you were prepared for the unexpected!
I grew up in Idaho, the woods are my get away still to this day.. I'm 60 years old now, you are so right, just go... get outside and breathe. You mentioned Spokane, were from nearly the same place.. Lewiston Idaho here.

Your videos are terrific, and i love the message to clean up. I wish more people followed your example! I've picked up burnt out mattress springs off the Fraser River! I'd say by the looks of that spot they're not hunting but likely shooting clay pigeons over the lake, drinking beer, not cleaning up their carnage, and likely using lead shot which ends up in the lake of course! Keep up the great work!

I sleep well under my tonneau, camping mattress and bag and its comfy even in cold ice fishing weather. I have a longer bed though, I definitely close the tailgate and shut the tonneau to cut down the breeze, the gap between bed and tailgate is plenty of air. I love taking solo trips like this, I don't do it enough with kids now, but even a couple times of year is great.
