Unquestionably one of the best. One of the reasons I’m a musician today. RIP Bobby, you’re missed.

Bobby Darin was one of the greatest entertainers of the century. Such versatile talents, singing, assorted instruments and maybe the best impressionist of his day. I truly believe that he would have been a more famous person than Frank. Before you react to that statement, research how many others agree with it. RIP Bobby D, your music lives on. 🙏💙👏

I believe Darin was the most versatile entertainer of the 20th century. What he accomplished in his brief 37 years is nothing short of Legendary. Singer (rock, jazz, blues, R&B, pop standards, big band, swing, country western, folk, funk, soul/gospel) musician, performer, actor, comedic impressionist, songwriter, producer, arranger, entrepreneur, variety tv show host, activist, husband, father. The man truly did it all, and he did it all so well. One of a kind, Bobby. The Greatest of the greats.

When you weep, weepin' willow, won't you weep for me?
While I cry on my pillow, won't you keep me company?
    Things were fine Mr. Willow
    She was mine Mr. Willow
    Now she's gone
And I can't go on this way!
When you sing Mr. Blue Bird sing a song for me
    Sing along Mr. Blue Bird
    Sing along and maybe she
Will come back to her lover
She'll hurry on back to discover
That she never should have gone away!
When you weep, weepin' willow, won't you weep for me?
While I cry on my pillow, won't you keep me keep me company?
    Things were fine Mr. Willow
She was ALL mine Mr. Willow
Now she's GONE GONE GONE GONE
I can't go on this way!
When you sing Mr. Blue Bird
    Sing a song for me!

What a performer !!! In his 37 years he accomplished the equivalent of 4 or 5 artistic careers, as singer, composer, actor, musician, one of the most talented, versatile entertainers who ever existed. Don't feel bad for having had him for such a short period, let's be thankful for the hours of 1-derful entertainment he left us.
