DON'T BE SCARED of the MUD! RC Cars Vs Mud, how to clean them. (how I clean them)

  • Are you scared to take your RC Truck in Mud? Here's how I do a quick clean after running in Mud or Water. Sometimes I will completely strip them down and clean them, but this technique will prolong the life of your RC Car.
The RGT EX series have really impressed me. Is there anything else out there for the same price that matches the performance? (This is pretty much the same now as the New FTX Outback 3 Hi-Rock)

This is the best cheap RC Crawler I own, and it does need a few tweaks (sloppy rear suspension)... but they are all easy fixes.

Nice video and thanks for it, but don’t forget WD40 is a water repellent you need to put some light machine oil around the bearings and linkages because the WD40 will wash that off as well as your moisture xx

Yes, that's a very good point. I also use a 'Wet Oil' designed for bike chains/gears to lube the bearings/UJ's

Great looking rc, yes it’s definitely best to wash the mud off and don’t let it set hard, it will ruin the bearings.
    Great vid mate 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️

Your "one long take" style of videography makes it feel as though the truck really is going on one long journey, an impression that´s aided by the sound kit and the extra realism it provides.

Thanks Del, I think on videos like this is important not to keep cutting to different scenes too often. Slow moving Crawlers are my favourite to drive/record one handed.

@@TomleyRC I´ve been out today, tracking my latest build with a camera taped to a broomhandle - when I reviewed the rather jerky footage I thought ruefully of the perfect tracking shots routinely obtained by you and by others, such as Derek from Holly Hill RC, Mark Bryan, etc...

@@TomleyRC Ive got a Chinese cheapo sound kit in my 1/6 F350. Its got this incredibly annoying tire screech sound effect when breaking which sounds repeatedly in reverse but with very loud twin speakers in forward it actually sounds pretty good.
