    I have been in Construction for 25 years. This is best tutorial video for a Exam class, the best instructor i have seen. No B.S, great tips and techniques to find the relevant information quick, very straightforward and informative. I just checked the website, too bad it doesnt provide G13 IRC exam.

      Each municipality will have its own rules. Texas, on other PSI exams, allows notes, so I am sure that is just what the employees at the testing center are used to. The candidate information bulletin is pretty clear that notes are not allowed, so I wouldn't chance it.

    I have a class C (g13) currently, and I figured going for a class A (g11) will allow me to take on any project.. is this thinking correct? From what you said the class B (g12) sounds more wide spread in terms of projects I can take on. (I want to get into apartment and small commercial projects) just asking in general, as I’m sure it is location dependent. (I live in NE and there is no state-based test)

    • @constructionseminars4197
      @constructionseminars4197  5 месяцев назад

      The G12 actually covers both residential and commercial. License classes depend on jurisdiction. Generally apartments are considered commercial buildings and would require a commercial license.

    • @constructionseminars4197
      @constructionseminars4197  5 месяцев назад

      If you are talking about the ICC contractor's exam, yes. If you have a state exam you are studying for, you would need to check the candidate information bulletin for that state's test to see which books the test is based on, and whether or not you can bring the book to the exam.

    I find it very difficult to locate information in the IRC. Glazing is a perfect example. When you use the index it does not reference other areas that also give info for glazing requirements. I find this type of issue everywhere in IRC. When taking a test that only gives you 90 seconds to find the answer, the structure issues of the book make this impossible.

    • @zjomamma1904
      @zjomamma1904 День назад

      that's why he says you have to understand what is the context first. if you're looking for glazing in general( let's say opening requirements ) the index would send you to chapter 3 . however if glazing pops up related to energy efficiency (the context would be energy efficiency) then you would find glazing in chapter 11.
