Years ago, I fixed my DRL on my Honda Odyssey 2002! I want to thank Carsten Croessmann for it because it was his video that showed me how to get it fixed, I think I did about 6 weld points and it has been working ever since!👍
Hey Carsten, Thank you very much for the solution to the DRL problem. After buying 2 new headlight bulbs(which didn't solve the problem), I found your fix on Google, which worked like a charm. Only took me about 15 minutes and saved me a few hundred dollars at the dealership. My problem had been lingering for about six months and was getting more severe as time went on. Had no running lights, then no high beams, plus the constant buzzing unless I flicked on the high beams. Vielen Dank!!
Great to hear, in my opinion this is what youtube is great for instead of stupid videos. Maybe I will remake the video one day with a better quality, but until it helped some people and I really don't want to win an award for the video quality. Bitte schoen!!! You're welcome.
Thank you very much for posting this video! It cost less than $15 for the soldering iron and the solder and about 30 minutes of work. The noise is GONE and my family loves me!
Thanks Tom. Actually that's where my Ody is from, I bought it 15years ago in Montreal and exported it to Germany, It is a Canadian Spec Ody. As you see on my Odometer in the Video km/h is in big Numbers and mp/h underlayed. Do you think you can do me a favor? I am looking for a driver side mirror, only the Canadian Specs are heated the US SPecs are not heated. I tried JDMEngines in Toronto by mail, but they told me they haven't some. Can you tell me a junk yard near you? Or buy me a used one somewhere near you and ship it to me? I wire the money thru Paypal, just need the mirror itself not the molding, but must be heated mine is a 2002 EX-L RES. Thanks in advance. You can get in touch with me by this email carsten.croessmann@gmx.de
Thank you very much. I fixed on my car as well. First I thought it was light bulb, then I thought it was the fuse. Did not know this much had it not for your video.
Thank you very much for this video, I followed it exactly and completely fixed my van. It would have cost me $60 just for the new part if I had agreed to replace it.
where exactly is the 2002 honda odyssey usa drl module ,check not in the located behind the glove box & driver side and passenger side fuse panel ? tnank you
Hi Richard, it should be there behind the glove box when your Odyssey is an US/Canadian Spec. It is behind the Glove Box on the Passenger Side of course. Good Luck, if you have further questions just ask. Carsten
Sir, I repeat your way to do, the DRL light indeed disappeared. But it appeared after a few days. Do you think that I should replace the entire controller?
+巫冠翰 I would recommend to take it out and go to an electronic shop, they are more familiar with the components are solderedon the board, let them check, maybe it is just one of the relais on the board they have just to replace it instead of buying a new controller. Which is quiet expensive I guess. Carsten
Thanks for taking the time, I will complete this task with ease after watching this video and save myself a few hundred bucks 👍. By the way your English is very good, a lot better than my German 😀
i dond find any infos online for 2005-2010 drl module location...my relays are at passenger side of engine compartment...relays are fine..trying to find the damn module..nothing behind glovebox for me its the heater resistance module grrrrrr 20yrs as a tech im fuckin pissed off lollll

Great video. I love watching problem solvers work through the problem. As my grandpa used to say, "If it can be fixed, why buy a new one"?
