He crazyyy I would have let him do it and watch him till he realizes he wanted his time and if he tried to put bulb in from top I would had said nooo Noo do it by removing bumper
Hey Ralph Bob The Mechanic!, I'm sure you know how to turn off the day running lights (DRL)? It's easy find your parking brake step on it, until one click (so it won't actually set), that's how you turn them off!!👍👍🤠🤪🤠
I installed LED DRL bulbs, and now my DRL warning indicator on the dash is on all the time unless I put on headlights. Apparently the only solution is $32 resistor/capacitors for each side! Anyone know a better solution?
Cow looks easy but in my case I changed the light 2 times and I still the problem and wen I’m driving and I pass a a bumpy spot sounds like a beaker and the light goes on but a soon a turn switch off it does the seem so I haven’t have time to look it so let you know if I fixed it
Where’s the possible scam? What could a mechanic say to rack up charges? Mentioning the claims of possible extra charges would be helpful in my opinion. I’m sure you’ve said this in other videos though. Just some friendly constructive feedback buddy.
@@RBTheMechanic I just disabled them on my buddies 2011 pilot. There's absolutely no reason for them. I've disabled DRL in all my friends and family vehicles.
Ty... My mechanic said he had to charge labor to remove bumper to get to the DRL lights . I said hell no. 😂😂😂

Thank you! I never knew the brake fluid reservoir could be removed that easily!
That's power steering
@@duckwacker8720Thanks!
Thanks a lot for sharing. Very detailed. Really appreciate your taking the time and trouble recording it.
Yup will help lot of people from getting ripped off
@@RBTheMechanic indeed.
Thanks for the help bro.
"I got this bulb right now right now"😂
Cool update me!!
I’m glad I save a lot of money changing out one of my hid bulbs that originally burned out
Cool glad u saved!!!
@@RBTheMechanic thanks dude
Excellent!!
Thanks man, you made it easy! Bam!
Wecome!!!
So mines just stop working. I check all the fuses and they look fine. Could it be just that the bulbs are bad?!
Both stopped working togather? Or one at a time. I would say bulb or fuse depends how they went out

I gotta look in tot that trick
I replaced them with led lights and that DRL showed up do you know the reason?
Yes because led draw very little power so it detects as if the bulb is out try putting resistors in circuit might work out
What are resistors and how do you do that .?
Problem is, the are $32 for each side! Unacceptable!
@@Mark-hu1cb did u figure out

Yes resistor should be ur suction due to led consume less electricity so it thinks bulb it out it should fix the issue
Led consumes smaller amount of electricity so the computer sends a signal thinking that the bulb is blown. Need resistors

Could be bad bulb that click on and off from bumps

Try going to mechanic with light on dash first we have to scan $100 really!!!
Disable them
Nope
