- A circular walk around Elstree and Stanmore, taking in Aldenham Reservoir, Wood Farm London viewpoint and Pear Wood. I started at The Manor Hotel. There's a nasty road crossing on this walk across the Watford Bypass.

Hi Marek, hi gang. I received my membership today. I am very excited.
I was told that the Hythe ferry was "hoping" to be running again for this coming bank holiday. So you may be in luck.
Excellent. I might try it later on in the summer.
Hi Marek, we just watched this after our own walk round Wheathampstead. Nice to be a winner. 😃 Cool Dude 413. Peter
Congratulations Peter. You can put your winners badge on for your next walk and everyone will think you are the King of Cool.
meow lol... i actual tell my friend bad jokes and she cracks up. keep them coming
Love the videos . Pickled onion Monster Munch. Walkers Salt and Vinegar. Dorito chilli heatwave
Three classic power crisps. Good choices.
SKIPS, NIK NAKS NICE N SPICY, errrr Walkers prawn cocktail!!!
Three wise choices cool dude.
Classic pringles, walkers prawn, and classic ruffles
1) Frazzles 2) Quavers 3) Scampi fries. I once stayed in a hotel where the bath was directly in front of the window so you could wave to passers by or passengers on the bus as you bathed.
A pack of Scampi fries with a pint is excellent. Even better if you are in the bath waving to strangers.
Big Hula Hoops Smoky Bacon, Cool Original Doritos and Ready Salted Walkers baked for me, but I eat so few crisps these days that three single packets might last me my lifetime.
PS. Seeing that Lions cap reminds me it was Nat's podcast that led me to this channel so your plugs there got at least one member 👍🏈
The first appearance of Smoky Bacon on here!
Good old Nat. I got the hat free when I did an internet American Football thing. Someone who didn't know anything about American football was editing it. They edited me talking about Josh Allen, cut to someone else and then cut back to me talking later about Stefon Diggs. The final pience sounded like I say Stefon Diggs is a quarterback. I literally got about 50 messages calling me an idiot. Just about worth it for the cap. I am still upset about Matthew Stafford leaving.
Phenomenal video, thank you, Marek. My three crisps would be: Chipsticks, Monster Munch & Space Raiders.
You have got for the salt and vinegar triple whammy!
Smile on my face, although the walk looked truly awful. Think 2 cool dudes out of 5 was exceedingly generous.
I first stayed in a "hotel" when I first went abroad to Le Touquet in France on a weekend school trip (mainly a lot of time on a coach) when I was 13. Turned out I had to share a bed with my room-mate. THAT was scary!
Cheese and Onion, Cheesy Wotsits and yeah, Frazzles. #488 signing off and away. Meooooooooow!
I have had that before. Someone's card opening my hotel room door in the middle of the night. Since then I always put the lock on.
Rewatching Feb ‘24
Nice to see my old growing up territory. Many a great ( drunkenly student) memory made here growing up. Lots of ghosts aliens sightings and strange tales. Still can't believe how mush rubbish there is there very sad. Have to say walkers prawn cocktail Frazzles and monster munch flamming hot flavor :-)
I like Flaming Hot Monster Munch too, but if you ever try eating more than one pack things go rapidly downhill.
Must say I'm shocked nobody suggested Brannigans as their favourite crisp, yet I'm not surprised having just goggled they are no longer in production! My heart is broken & my mind is blown.
What! I can't believe they no longer make them. This is an outrage. Several people have suggested the Beef and Mustard in the comments.
My hotel survival story isnt scary but it was a dance with death. I was dehydrated AF from a mad session on the booze and couldnt drink the tap water. The only thing to drink was the mini bar full of vodka and I blank out drinking vodka and turn into a right bellend. So vodka for breakfast it was. 5 minutes later I was watching my drummer take a decent punch to the face from a rather large lady for knocking on her hotel door and blasting her in the face with a fire extinguisher. The day got worse but thats a story for the podcast. Nice one for the shout out cool dude. Cool dudes assemble!
This sounds a lot worse than a door handle falling off to be fair. Thanks again for the t-shirts dude.
@@cdwc fek the shirts how was the noodles?
En route to the World Cup in South Africa 2010, I had an overnight stop in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) and was put up on the 10th floor of a hotel in downtown. It was scary because the hotel was still under construction and there was only glazing up to the 7th floor. Good job I'm not a sleepwalker.
I hope you weren't paying the full rate.
Ready salted hula hoops
Salt n vinegar chipsticks
Prawn cocktail walkers
😋
A pack of salt and vinegar chipsticks at the right time is pretty near unbeatable.
Thank you very much for this video Marek, I love your videos and with it being my birthday tomorrow this has really set it up. I always look forward to your videos they are great. I know it sound weird but just wanted to say how much I enjoy them keep up the great content much love. :)
Today must be your birthday! I hope you have a wonderful day. Thank you for your kind words. It is really nice to know that people like my videos. Stay cool.
Hi Marek 👋
If you're getting put up in the Manor Elstree, you're doing pretty well.
I stayed there with Mrs Rentaghost for our anniversary in 2019. The strangest thing that happened to me was having to get up and get dressed at 1am to go downstairs and turn off the TV in the bar, which had been left on BBC News at full volume.
Three crisps?
Pickled onion Space Raiders
Salt & Vinegar Discos
Flame grilled steak McCoys
All the best,
Cool Dude #23
I think I was in the smallest room possible right at the top. When I arrived I was asking about the history of the hotel and receptionist said a previous owner hung himself. I replied 'Not in my room I hope.' Then she didn't say anything.
@@cdwc
I can't help thinking they've screwed you over.
If it was up to me, you'd get a Premier room, a basketful of Space Raiders and a Shoe/Choux/Sioux bun
Hey bro ,new subscriber here.
Great video, keep going 🌍, stay healthy. Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
Hello Cool Dude. Thanks for the sub.
About 35 years ago I got locked in the shared bathroom in a guesthouse in Llandudno. You had to leave it ajar as it somehow locked itself from the inside, I went in, closed the door but then couldn't reach the handle to get out. The son of the owner had to climb a drainpipe and get through the window to set me free, he was also called Neil. Great days.
Walkers sensations sweet chilli, Doritos chilli heatwave and even though I can't remember the taste I adored KP skydivers when I was a kid (after a Google, flavours were salt and vinegar, cheese and onion or roast beef), at the time it would probably have been s&v.
I completely forgot about Skydivers. They were delicious (the salt and vinegar ones).
I wonder if it was a future Neil that came and saved himself from the bathroom.
@@cdwc
Well that's something to look forward to.
Always good to see a new CDWC video. And relieved it wasn’t a wash out as the weather recently has been pants.
My choice of crisps right now would be steak McCoys, the US version of flaming hot Cheetos (hotter than ones here in UK) and sour cream Sunbites. Stay cool everyone
I tried the sour cream Sunbites, I worry they taste a bit like how I imagine feet would taste. I am a big fan of the Sweet Chilli ones, but the barbecue were disappointing. I think they should copy Wheat Crunchies and do a spicy tomato version.
@@cdwc Tomato wheat crunchies were/are epic. Can you still get them? I once had sweet and sour quavers and they were amazing but were soon discontinued.
I wonder what the CDWC members’ preferences are for sarnies and sweet snacks..?
I remember visiting New York. I was young, first time visiting the States and found a great deal in a new hotel downtown Manhattan - everything gleaming, sparkling, brand new. Picked up the soap in the bathroom to wash my hands, it slipped through my hands and went straight down the toilet. Instead of putting my hand in to pull it out, I flushed the toilet thinking that would solve the dilemma. The water came into the bowl and wouldn't drain. The water kept rising and then overflowed the toilet and went all over the floor in the new bathroom. I called reception, kinda downplaying the situation after trying to mop it all up with a few towels and not mentioning the soap. The handyman arrived and on his radio I heard someone speak "There is water flooding into the restaurant. We are taking the artwork off the walls". I felt pretty bad but more guilty that I left the plumber to get on with it and didn't tip him.
That is an incredible story. Thank you cool dude. Bad stuff happens when you drop soap.
1) M&S cheese tasters (I'd choose them over Wotsits)
2) Cheesy Quavers
3) Flamin' Hot Monster Munch
I can't believe you've escaped the island.
Don't worry I am back now. The island is much nicer than Elstree. Meanwhile Cheesy Quavers remind me of armpits.
3rd: Walkers Salt and Vinegar. 2nd: Co Op Salt and Vinegar crisps. 1st: Scampi Flavoured Fries (Rubbed into my naked torso).
You have truly given yourself to the salt and vinegar gods.
Hi Cool Dude, How awful & scary for you, the bathroom door handle falling off in your hand! That did make me laugh, sorry!
My 3 crisps: Space Raiders, Nik Naks & Twiglets!
Stay Safe & Cool Cool Dude & hopefully no more dramas!😃🚴♀️🚶♀️
Space Raiders get extra point for being 10p (although they are probably 20p now).
Crisps: Brannigans roast beef and mustard; McCoys ready salted (I would have chosen flame-grilled steak but it's good to have something plainer and Brannigans have taken the beef category); Monster Munch pickled onion.
The Brannigans roast beef and mustard is the closest a crisp gets to a proper meal. Whenever I have been to a pub and not eaten I will get one or maybe two packets of those and classify it as a roast dinner.
@@cdwc I see them as a genteel-yet-understated crisp, the kind that's equally at home down the pub as at Ascot or in the middle of a close friend's lavish wedding ceremony. I heard they were being discontinued though :(
1. Ready salted. 2. Bugles Southern Style BBQ. 3. Frazzles.
I've never had a particularly scary experience in a hotel room but once when I was traveling around France in a campervan a man broke in while I was asleep. I woke up and I could see him from the back trying to steal my SatNav. It was weird, I though very quickly, and I decided to speak in English could potentially show weakness, and if I spoke in French I didn't know enough full throttle swears to be fearsome. So I roared like bear as loud as I could to get him to buzz off. It worked very well. Although the central locking on the door he crowbarred never functioned again, but I guess that's better than rape and/or murder.
That sounds utterly terrifying. Did you continue with the holiday or go home? He must have been cocky to break into a camper van someone was in.
I forgot about Bugles. They are delicious.
@@cdwc I was pretty much on the way home anyway, just outside Toulouse. I've wondered about him in the last decade and I suspect he may have been partial to a drug or two. I prefer to think of him as desperate rather than arrogant. He ran away very fast, I think I scared him quite a lot. Sometimes I wonder if he tells a complimentary story in Narcotics Anonymous meetings, it would please me if he did. The time he broke into a camper with a bear in it he knew he had to get clean etc.
I am imagining you browsing in a bookshop and discovering a best selling self help book by him 'The Howl that saved my life' by Jean Paul Satnav.
@@cdwc Thanks for joining in Marek 😁
Top of the crisp tree. Beef & Mustard Branigans. 2nd place T-Bone Steak Roysters, and to mix it up a bag of Wotsits.
These are all power crisps. I agree that the Branigans mustard flavour is the best mustard flavour in all of the crispworld.
Yay ! 😃👍 A new video from CDWC. Really enjoyed this one, a proper laugh out loud episode.🤣🤣 Shocking to see the fly tipping though. 👎☹️ My three crisps would be Nik-Naks, Monster Munch, & Frazzles. Cheers Marek, a real tonic for a Monday morning. Keep em coming! 👍😃 Matt. Solihull.
Nice one, thanks Matt. The fly tipping was really bad, plus a lot of it looked like it had been left for years. That alleyway at the start probably has about 3,000 beer cans along the hedge of it. It sort of left me thinking that Elstree and Borehamwood Council didn't really care about littering.
Salt and vinegar Kettle chips, Posh walkers, sweet chilli and sourcream. Paprika pringles
I have never tried these Paprika pringles but two people have mentioned them.
@@cdwc They're very moreish like Ribena or Cocain.
lol. frazzles, whatzits, monster munch. ooooow
Good choices. All those do get stuck in your teeth though.
Yay!! Another cool dudes video!! So my three crisp choices would be: prawn cocktail Walkers, salt and vinegar Pringles and spicy tomato Wheat Crunchies!!
Spicy Tomato Wheat Crunchies are an excellent example of the perfect flavour and texture in a crisp. Thumbs up.
Pickled onion monster munch ,Beef space invaders and M&S cheese balls ( old ones in a green packet ).Have tried a few of your walks on the Isle of Wight perfect way to find your way around we’ve-recently moved here from London .
Nice one Martin. Thanks for joining. The membership will be in the post tomorrow. You are officially Cool Dude #545.
I don't think I ever tried those M&S Cheese Balls.
Hope you are enjoying Island life. Tennyson Down is pretty spectacular. I am hoping to walk across the island in a day pretty soon.
I had this very thing happen to me in the bathroom at my home where the handle actually broke but thankfully my phone was in my pocket so I could call for help. I had to wait ages for my parents to come around and let me out.
I wonder how many people have starved to death in hotel bathrooms. What an awful way to go.
Scariest thing that happened to me in a hotel was in Glasgow, away with work and in the middle of the night some drunken man got into my hotel room. He’d checked in late and the newbie on reception had accidentally checked him into my room! He was quite affable and apologetic thankfully, but still not what you want waking you up at 3am!
Edit for crisps!
Salt and vinegar Squares
Ready salted walkers
Doritos Flaming hot tangy cheese (if they can pass as a crisp??)
I had that where someone's key opens your hotel room. It is awful. I always double lock the hotel room doors now.
@@cdwc happens more often than any hotel would want to admit! The stories I’ve heard from friends who work in hotels are pretty horrifying at times. I usually double lock as well but on this occasion there wasn’t the option. Sod’s law!
Cool original doritos for nachos, tyrells sweet chili cos they're the best tasting thing ever and then salt and shake so i can still have ready salted or plain if im not in the mood for salt
Salt and shake seem to have disappeared.
T Bone Steak flavour Roysters, Prawn Cocktail Shells (any supermarket brand) and Chilli Heatwave Doritos
Excellent choices. Every time I have Chilli Heatwave Doritos I am reminded of how good they are.
Great to see another CDWC walk.
Nice one cool dude. More coming soon once it stops raining.
A rather litter strewn stroll today Marek. Thanks for the mention. 😎👍
Crisps 1) ready salted
2) cheese n onion
3) prawn cocktail
A pleasure Jag. Three classics flavours. Good choices.
The busy roads and horrible litter made me feel anxious. Glad you made it home safely.
The filming did not really capture how bad that road crossing at the end was. I had to wait about ten minutes for a break in the speeding traffic and run across while cars sped towards me. Luckily I am the 8 millionth bravest man in the South of England.
I always carry a pack of Polo mints with me to give to horses so that their breath smells better especially if they've been eating their own poo. Fave crisps are ready salted Hula Hoops, Cool Doritos and Cheesy Wotsits. Congrats to the winner. Cheers
That must be why horses like polo mints so much! The mystery is solved.
I did get stuck in a hotel lift once which stopped between floors and I could hear the dinner gong ringing but couldn't get out. I thought I was going to miss my dinner, that was scary.
Tyrells chilli, skips aaaand walkers ready salted.
Walkers ready salted are an excellent crisp. I think a lot of people who are eating their three packs for the rest of their lives will regret not choosing a neutral flavoured crisp.
Ready Salted Walkers, Bacon Walkers and Paprika Pringles
But now I'm thinking about cheese and onion!
Yes I think in retrospect I should have allowed for five packs for more variety. Enjoyed your flour video. Keep making the films cool dude.
Lays thin crisps, Red Rock Deli sweet chilli and sour cream & Samboys chips
I haven't tried any of these crisps!
@@cdwc when you make it to Australia I’ll buy you some.
I know that pain of getting stuck behind someone. I've even overtaken someone before, got lost and ended up playing catch up again.
Side note: one of my aunties used to live in Elstree. But we never went walking and it was a long time ago.
I don't think you missed anything by not going on a walk in Elstree cool dude.
The worst is when you get stuck behind loud walkers. On the South Downs Way I had a lady with the noisiest voice walking about 50 yards behind me for an hour. Every time I sped up they did too. Pretty annoying.
@@cdwc She must've recognised you and wanted to join the club but without paying or following the rules.
Perhaps you could create a No Noisy Walkers badge or car sticker for future members?
McCoys Cheese & Onion, Seabrook Crinkle Cut Canadian Ham and...Pickled Onion Monster Munch!
I am going to seek out these Seabrook crisps everyone keeps banging on about.
@@cdwc you won't regret it.
My three types of crisps would be sweet chili velvet crunch, ready salted pom bears and nice 'n' spicy nik naks. However, if ready salted chipsticks were still available they would replace pom bears on my list and if cream 'n' cheesy nik naks were still being sold where I am, they would replace nice 'n' spicy.
I hope this latest job you're doing means you'll be back on our screens soon. 🙂
Pom bears are great. One pack is never enough I think. These are all excellent choices.
@@cdwc Yes I agree with you on one pack of pom bears never being enough-they are bloody moreish.
Oh, I was thinking about the scariest thing that happened to me in a hotel room. I guess this is more stressful than scary though. Years ago, I was staying in a hotel in Edinburgh. It was so cheap and only about a ten min walk from the main bit. The catch was that the place needed some tender loving care.Me and my husband aren't precious though and we knew we'd be out all day so we sucked it up. One morning, I opened the sash window and a HUGE piece of the window frame just fell out . Luckily I managed to catch it and sort of wedge it back into place but I was too scared to open and close it for the rest of the time I was there. 😂
@Simon Simon They were so nice weren't they? When I was a kid, my local shop did curry flavoured chip sticks and they were nice too. 👌😋
@Simon Simon What was the banjo? Yes I could google it but that's a bit souless.
@Simon Simon Haha! Oh God, some people will literally start a group about anything won't they. 😏
Spicy NikNaks, Walkers Salt and Vinegar and Pickled Onion Monster munch.
I agree with Nik Naks. I think they were originally made from the leftovers of other crisps. I might be wrong on this.
My top 3 crisps are Real Salt and vinegar, Greegs sea salt and cider vinegar and Aldi's ready salted Be Light crisps. If Nobby still made salt and vinegar crisps they would have taken the top spot. They were so strong in flavour it took the top layer off skin of your lips.
Rancheros, Space Raiders and Hedgehog would be my crisps of choice.
Some cult classics. I don't know if I ever tried Rancheros.
Crisps:
- Hula Hoops
- Frazzles
- Pringles (Salt and Vinegar)
Hula Hoops are one of the few crisps I consciously avoid. I think maybe because of the concentration of potato, or maybe memories of school when grubby kids put them on their fingers.
@@cdwc Now you've gone and put me off Hula Hoops!
1. Roast beef Monster Munch 2. Roast beef Monster Munch 3. Roast beef Monster Munch O.T.B.C!
Never mind the danger!
Woah woah woah there Marek. Cool Dude #467 reporting in. I think you need to try Seabrooks Loaded Fries, the spicy ones have quickly become my favourite crisp (better than cheese and bacon although they are still good). I don't think it's just 'cause they are the new kid on the block they are genuinely amazing. If you can't find them just give the word and a couple of multi-bags will be on their way. Stay cool, Bowie xx
I have never heard of these Seabrooks Loaded Fries. I am excited by the prospect of a new crisp variety to try. I will have a look on my next trip to Tescos.
Skips, Frazzles, cheese and onion flavoured Hula Hoops.
Agree with the first two. I have never enjoyed the texture of hula hoops for some reason.
McCoy’s Salt and Vinegar, Pringles Sour Cream and Onion, Pickled Onion Monster Munch
Yes I like Pringles Sour Cream.
You escaped to the mainland but then went back ;)
Maybe I escaped the mainland?
twiglets, beef hula hoops and I need some help here Cool Dudes... anyone remember these: bag of tiny tubular capsule crisps full of air about 1cm in length and 2mm width? crisps were often a bit crushed but I seem to remember there were tons of them per pack so the quantity-to-penny ratio was excellent. ready salted but may have has s&v version also. I only ever saw them in the vending machine at my local swimming pool, never in a shop. if anyone remembers the name you have my gratitude and good things are sure to befall you for the rest of the day. stay cool!
I think I have a distant memory of those crisps. There were ones in the shape of pigs too which were mostly crushed when I got them out of my satchel.
@@cdwc piglets ;)
•chilli heatwave doritos
•salt and vinegar pringles
•prawn cocktail walkers
Thanks for the vid Marek. Stay cool. x
Thanks Jonathan. Solid choices. Chilli Heatwave Doritos is rightly proving popular on here.
I’m so happy to see a new video. I’ve been thinking about it all day and wondering when you’ll get a chance to post. This is so cool. 😎 I miss London some days.
The cartoons... so funny. Nice 6 pack. 😆👍
Ashamed to say I laughed at the worst joke ever told. Ha! Ha! 😆
In real life it is more like an eight pack but I did not want to show off. Oddly when I did this walk I thought to myself 'I do not miss London'.
Hey CD#1, I think your stalker was behind you at 00:48 and 00:53, not sure you noticed or not but looks sinister. Maybe she was stalking you, stalking her, stalking you?
As for Crisps: 1) Skips, prawn cocktail 2) Disco, cheese and onion 3) McCoys, flame grilled steak
Finally, I got stuck in a high rise fire escape stairwell when staying in a hostel in Melbourne years ago after accidentally walking through a fire exit that shut behind me, when I got to the ground floor the doors to the street were chained and padlocked (health and safety alert). I was not amused after the long time spent going to every floor and banging each door to let me back in :)
Yes I only just spotted that when I watched the edit. She was following me the whole time!
Your hotel story is more horrific than mine. Ha. Also I agree with you about the Discos, but salt and vinegar flavour.
Twigglets
Ready salted squares
Lime and coriander popadoms
Square crisps are great. The salt and vinegar square crisp is a classic.
Walkers Salt and Vinegar crisps . Pringles salt and Vinegar . Macoys ridged Salt and Vinegar.
Litter is so annoying I have bought a folding litter picker and take a bag on my local walks . I'm not sure what else we can do ? Probably not a walk to repeat.
Good work on the litter picking. I don't know if I could handle only salt and vinegar crisps for ever.
As for the litter in Elstree, it was probably the worst I have seen on a walk. I think the council could put a few bins and signs up. The amount of fly tipping was astonishing.
Good to see you back out dude. My crisp choices are: Roysters T-Bone, Cheese and Onion Tayto's and Walkers Salt & Vinegar. You werent filming with Greg and Alex were you(fingers crossed) -Robb
I agree with the Roysters. No it wasn't Taskmaster. Sometimes Walkers Salt & Vinegar are a bit too sharp for me.
Cool Dude 465: Cheetos flaming hot twists, wheat crunchies bacon flavour, and beef hula hoops. Another great video 👍
Cheetos flaming hot twists are great. I find I stop enjoying them half way through a pack though as they are too much.
@@cdwc 😂 Marek go big or go home, you can’t do half measures.
I'm two years late to this walk, but I think the Japanese lady was a ghost from the hotel. Behind you, ahead of you, behind you... no visible form of handbag/backpack... I think that's the most likely explanation. Maybe just check if she's still behind you?
This sounds like something out of 'The Ring'.
I like to imagine Marek feels slightly more on edge at all times when he leaves the Isle of Wight like a true caulkhead. P.s. Marek's six-pack and bulging biceps at 1:27 has made me feel inferior to his greek god body!
Technically I am an overner as I moved here when I was six. I will never be truly accepted as an Isle of Wight resident. The drawing is 100% accurate if not understated so as not to intimidate people.
brannigans roast beef and mustard, Salt and vinegar kettle chips, cheese and onion walkers,
I like some of the ham and mustard flavours, but it is hard to achieve the delicate balance between ham and mustard.
@@cdwc yes its easy to go too far with the mustard, i actually like the hedgehob brand of crisps i dont know if you remember them i dont think they make them any more.
Great video cool dude. I think I could manage with only being able to eat bbq beef hula hoops. Does corn based snacks count as crisps as they don’t contain any potatoes?
Good question. I think I would have to classify corn based stuff as snacks. You have to be quite clear on matters like this otherwise it will turn into a biscuit/cake debate.
I was once on a ferry to France, as we was docking my young son wanted the toilet. I said don't shut the door it looks broken. He slammed the door shut and got locked in. I had to fetch help and we delayed the ferry, as they got him out! I was the last car to leave. Very embarrassing and stressful
Your poor son. I bet he thought he'd be stuck there forever.
@@cdwc more me thinking that 🤣
Cheese & Onion x 3. Never Kettle crisps which are like eating razor blades.
Yes I have had some mouth injuries from Kettle Chips. You will overdose on that Cheese and Onion. You could have gone for a sour cream and onion to mix it up a bit.
walkers cheese n onion, tudor pickled onion, chip stix salt n vinegar
Chip sticks salt and vinegar would definitely make my top ten.
Roast beef monster munch
Prawn cocktail quavers
Salt n vinegar McCoys
Prawn Cocktail Quavers are the best quaver for sure.
I think litter and whiskers flavoured crisps would be a good idea. Meooooow it would help you walk faster !!!!
This would solve a lot of litter problems.
Spicy Nik Naks, Worcester Sauce flavoured Walkers and Prawn Cocktail Walkers although the latter gives me mouth ulcers!
I am also a big fan of Worcester Sauce ands Prawn Cocktail flavours, but if I eat them regularly I go off them. Sometimes you can get a really strong Prawn Cocktail packet which is too much for me.
Roysters T- Bone Steak, Burton's Fish and Chips (I'm classing them crisps even though they aren't) and Golden Wonder Ready Salted.
What happened to Golden Wonder. I much prefer the name to Walkers. I bought some Roysters T-Bone Steak the other week. They were much better than I remembered. Maybe it is my maturing palette.
@@cdwc Golden Wonder are still around, they're just harder to find because Walkers (Pepsi Co.) dominate so much. Roysters also did a Southern Fried Chicken flavour which were delish but rarer than hens teeth.
King cheese and onion, Monster Munch roast beef and Skips 🥰
Mmmmmm Skips.
My 3 crisps would be pickled onion monster munch, ready salted and frazzles.
Three solid classics. I agree that if you were going to eat the same three packets forever something neutral like ready salted is essential.
Markies Worcester Sauce, pickled onion monster munch and johnny's onion rings would be my crisp choice.
This was quite a litter laden walk. I hate it when I go for a walk and get stuck behind someone who is walking slightly slower than I am, making me have to decide between slowing down, taking another route or speed up and overtake.
There was so much litter on that walk, it was a disgrace to humanity.
Meanwhile this is the first mention of the classic pickled onion Monster Munch on here. I think maybe adults go off monster munch as they get stuck in your teeth.
I'm 45 and yes they do get stuck in my teeth but that doesn't put me off. I just pick the bits out with a pencil or a pen top.
I reckon you should attempt the London loop once you reach a certain amount of followers
I have been a bit put off by it after the section on this walk. I think there are probably nicer walks in the UK.
@@cdwc Maybe somewhere up in Scotland instead.
What happened to Spring Onion flavoured crisps? They were everywhere 20 years ago and then they just vanished... or is someone going around hiding them from me?
Prawn cocktail skips and Worcester sauce niknaks are the other two I'd choose.
This is a good point about Spring Onion Crisps. Also I think that Prawn Cocktail Skips and Worcester Sauce Nik Naks are two perfect combinations of texture and flavour. Although I may prefer Nice & Spicy Nik Naks.
I've often wondered, does a high number of faces for 'No. of people around' mean there were lots of people around or that there were few people around? Cheers
Yes you are right. The scoring does not really make sense, as the faces represent the amount of people on the walk, so more is negative. Whereas in the walk ratings the more Marek's the better. But I suppose life doesn't make sense either. Stay cool.
Smokey bacon crisps, plain hula hoops, those prawn things that melt in your mouth.
Mike Ehrmantraut @ 5:51
Appreciate the humor and a proper camera instead of GoPro. What gear do you use by the way?
Nice one. I use an Olympus E-M1 Mark III. The stabilisation is excellent and it is pretty small compared to my GH5. All gear is listed here: cooldudeswalkingclub.com/my-walking-gear/
There’s a list of all his gear and much more on his website.
Salt and vinegar walker's monster much pickled onion and flaming hot Cheetos 😋
Double soft crisps. Good choices.
Walkers ready salted, generic cheesy puffs and, Aldi’s knock-off salt flavour kettle chips which are better than the real ones. CD508
Aldi's are very good at making stuff better than the originals. Some of their pizzas are amazing.
Sweet Chilli Sensations, Beef and Mustard Hula Hoops , Scampi and Lemon Nik Naks (the ones that's smell of piss
You are right the Scampi and Lemon Nik Naks really do smell of piss. There is always a moment when I pause before putting one in my mouth expecting it to be gross but they're delicious. Maybe they are actually piss flavour.
Flaming hot watsits, Walkers Max paprika and pickled onion monster munch (honourable munchion: nik naks scampi and lemon)
Pickled Onion Monster Munch is possibly the champion of this mini survey.
Look at that man over there. What's he doing?
Yes.
Flamin hot monster munch
Lemon and scampi nic naks
Cheese doritos
Solid crisps, although I prefer the red doritos.
Maybe your least picturesque ramble, even with the discount given for the ripped torso self-portrait. But the usual narrative more than made up for it. When will we see the result of the work at Elstree? Was it work with De Nero or similar?
It was just an ITV thing. It is more for the youth of today I think. The amount of litter on this walk was horrific.
I saw the Japanese woman behind you at the beginning of the film.
So sad to see all that rubbish. People that do that are arseholes.
1)Ready Salted
2)Sunbites Sweet Chilli
3)Smiths Salt and Vinegar
Yes I did not notice her there until I watched the footage back.
The rubbish litter was appalling. I wanted to grab a bag and a picker to clean it up. People can be so selfish and disrespectful.
All that rubbish omg! What’s wrong with people ffs. Still enjoy watching the walk tho
Congratulations on making it back to the hotel before the Devil got you and not being arrested for stalking a female Japanese tourist.
In retrospect I think she may have been stalking me.
@@cdwc Well, you're a cool dude so it's a constant risk.
Is there a local council or child rubbish picking up club you can tell about the rubbish issue? Get a dozen environmentalists onto that rubbish and it be gone in a few hours. What job are you on? Anything to do with Bushrangers? Pringle’s Sour Cream & Onion, Ausy Twisties but definitely not nz ones yuck, at this point I’d take my clothes off and smear anything cheese & onion flavoured all over myself as it is near impossible to get in nz. But I don’t eat chips anymore sadly... they are very bad for you. So now only very occasionally I eat a handful of wafer thin corn chips from a Mexican restaurant and then my dietician chastises me.
It has to be Brannigan's Roast Beef and Mustard (luckily they're vegetarian), frazzled and good old ready salted. Also I've noticed the Japanese lady in the background in a number if these videos. Spooky and frightening too....
What she is in more than one video!!!??!!!! This is like The Ring.
