Thank you for watching, boss.
Any hurricane flight with AF Proud is a flight I want to be on. Virtually. In my living Room. On the Ground.
do a barrel roll!
😂
you love the smell of AF prouds farts its ok
Versus say... Your living room on his plane?
@@Psikeomega I do have a VERY comfy chair.
"i guess this qualifies". exactly what you wanna hear from your pilot.
Passenger in the end "GET ME OFF THIS MOTHERF**KER!" had me rolling. 🤣
Same!!!
Wasn’t sure that was what I heard. Haha
The passenger audio is hilarious.
makes me crack up every single time
This is probably the only way I would like to re-live this stupid storm.
I love whenever there’s a hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico, everyone is taking off and flying into the hurricane.
I love the Microsoft Flight Simulator community
Nosediving when missing ILS in a hurricane? Damn, I love this channel.
I'd still say his Thunderstorm landing in Chicago was the best "hope and a prayer" successful landing but this was a solid 2nd. ruclips.net/video/HuYtq9r0QBA/видео.html
He's just like me FR
“The seatbelt sign was off the whole flight. Probably have about ten passagers left”
How many of them left are from the standing room only
All but they wouldn’t wake up
@@Airforceproud95 haha
Thanks for forgetting the seatbelt sign. My food is stuck on the ceiling and I’m 3 rows back from my assigned seat 😤
🤣🤣🤣🤣
That's a good thing! You shouldn't trust the airplane food, and the back is supposedly slightly safer. I call that a win!
Wait that’s what happens. I recently started flying firm Oklahoma to Colorado and like it’s a small plane for United and sometimes the light doesn’t come back on but we all knew to put our seatbelts on lol
Retired 53WRS Hurricane Hunter weather officer back on freq. At around 8:45 you mentioned a 20 degree crab angle, 80kt cross winds and called them "crazy". As one of our most senior pilots used to say, "That ain't nothin'!" Standard storm penetration speed for a WC-130 is 180kts. In big cat 5s at 10,000ft. we have seen winds coming from our sides at roughly that speed. So inbound as we penetrated the eyewall the pilots were cranking in the crab angle till it got to about 45 degrees left crab, then in the space of a minute or two almost all of it would be backed off as we got into the eye and the winds died off. Then after crossing the center we'd slam into the far side eyewall and the winds would go from 20-30kts back to 180kts in that same minute or two, as the pilots cranked the crab angle back in to 45 degrees _right_ crab.
And the winds were far from steady - lots of gusts. I've seen our pilots cycling the throttles from flight idle to full power in just a few seconds, as they worked to keep the plane above stall speed and below a speed that would put the wings at risk.
Flying big storms can be a real E-ticket ride (for those of you too young to get the reference, check wikipedia)!
14:28 “get me off this mf” Made me laugh.
😂
😂😂
🤣
😂😂😂
Bro was traumatized
His nose dive landing reminded me of when I was in Japan and got to try a actual 747 flight simulator the ones that move. They set it to start on the approach but by the time it all loaded I had already overshot the glide slope so I did the did nose dive thing. The Instructor was screaming WTH! I made the landing and when they opened the hatch all he said was "I can't believe you did that, you Red lined all the stress gage markers you should have ripped the wings off but somehow didn't. You actually landed it, Everyone survived but they are all going to the Hospital for physiologically distressed and will never fly again."
Well, you landed it with no damage and everyone survived, I see this as an absolute win XD
any landing you can walk away from is a good one
Maintenance control is shitting kittens right now. They have to pull the plane out of service an spend a month checking the wings that got over-G
Mhmm
Greenpeace is proud of you!😂
“wtf was that!?” 😂
Honestly i replayed that segment 4 times as i couldn't hear it for my fits of laughter.... literally tears 😂😂
13:12 hahaha
Why do I keep imagining "WTF Was That?!" guy with a bitten-through cigar in his mouth and parts of the aircraft hanging off?! 🤣
😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Delta 565 we're going to need a clean-up on aisle 1, 2, 3 and 4. Priorise passenger dry cleaning atfer that landing, they all pooped their pants
The Japanese AF 1 is not a mistake. The ASDF operates two 777-300ER for VIP transport, officially called "Japanese government exclusive aircraft." Their call signs are Japanese Air Force 1 and 2. They always fly together, one as primary transport, one as backup with maintenance crew.
The rest of the terminal wondering why I just bolted out the gate, threw myself on the floor, and started kissing the ground.
That *high five* with the Spirit broke me
Spirit thumbnail scared me greatly
it should.
This reminded me of when I was on a flight inbound to Billings, MT. For those who don't know, the area is notorious for high winds, and my flight was on one of the worst. As I learned afterwards from checking my weather app, the wind was damn near perpendicular to the runway. My single biggest memory wasn't the turbulence or the sharp tilting during approach, it was when I looked out my window and saw us on approach to the runway. My window. My window on the SIDE of the plane. I saw the runway coming towards us. I swear I wouldn't have been surpised if I hjeard eurobeat start playing through the PA system, yet that guy pulled off a three point landing like it was an average tuesday. One day I will find that pilot and buy him a beer.
Florida man is flying a plane again, time for this day to get a whole lot better
Japanese Air Force One... *leaves the room*
**USER DISCONNECTED**
13:12 The screaming and panic from the cabin gets me every time 😭😭 lool 😂😂
First time ever watching a flight sim. I have no clue what's going on, but you made it look insanely easy. Bravo
I just wanna see that from the ATC perspective.
"What's that dot RAPIDLY going downward?"
*[SOUNDS OF AIRFORCEPROUD ABOUT TO KAMIKAZE THE TARMAC]*
Hey AFP95! As a flight student, its super cool to see Austin as an actual airline pilot in your vids. Any chance I would be able to chat with him and pick his brain about the career path and how I could get to be in that position as a captain one day? Would be really helpful to be able to find a good path forward from my career change from engineering.
Have discord? I’ll pass this along
@ hey thank you so much! I do have discord, it's just my username on RUclips as well
This was one of my favorite MSFS events lol. I was FDX1097, had some weird control issues with my plane on final so had to go around and try again. Probably some axis binding issue idk. Great video!
Flew into Milton around the same time as yall (virtually thankfully). When I saw 29.19 on the METAR I spat out my food, good times.
13:48 well you've landed, Spirit is taking off into those winds so I think you can loan them a winglet
RIP Spirit, They didnt have enough cabin pressure to cover all the holes in their plane they refused to fix. Also the passengers started eating the plane because the credit readers didnt work.
I just love how you get the passenger voices in your videos. I laugh my ass off on every video that you have them in.
Thank you for such a video.
You actually did a great landing for as high and as fast as the winds were.
Great video, AF proud 95!!!
Gotta love how you “touched down” then got another “five” called out 😂
POV: You’re playing Flight Simulator, and ATC just told you to go around for the 5th time. 😡🔄
ngl, ik this is just a sim, BUT SO MUCH RESPECT TO ANY ONE in the airforce or pilots. especially if they fly in hurricanes.
(love the content, keep it up lol)
I revisited your channel after some time. And it is still cool fun. You have a great funny comments 😂 "...very bad idea... switching safety belts sing of, good luck back there..." and I love commentary with your passengers
4:42 i was noaa 43 during that huricane lol the altemieter dropped to 28.10 inchs where i was, i dont know if you were there when it happened but all of the zma controls got off bc the wind was screwimg up the finals to a point of no return lol
Yep, Spirit definitely gave you a high five... Wow! I was biting my nails for you on that approach!
hurricaneflyer95 is back!!
Flight so bananas he flew it the entire way with his reverser doors deployed
I gotta say that landing was crazy. You looked like you were dropping like a stone but you managed to float it to safety
"Anything's VFR if you're brave enough" had me cackling. I was thinking about the night before thanksgiving at LAX. Mother nature dunked the whole airport into the thick and chunky. No plane could carry the weight of the person's balls - man or woman - who dared to fly through that soup VFR.
I was freaked out when i saw your landing attempt and the computer is yelling at you terrain ... pull up .. terrain ... ... then the bounce and balloon / float ... That scared even me .... But holy hell entertaining as always :D
Any landing you can walk away from is a good landing.
Hey, nice landing! You got a 5' call-out... TWICE! 😆
One word of advice-during takeoff, leave auto throttle on, (trust ap to do its job at 3500ish feet), have elevator halfway down on takeoff roll before 100 knots (neutral after) and say “positive rate of climb”. Also, flaps retract with the 2 dotted lines on the speed tape, you can set baro to say “std” and srt thrust to climb when the PFD says “thr climb” and you also don’t need to manually set speed (unless needed)
The landing dialogue from the cabin was about as expected
The more I watch these, the more I want to get involved. Would you consider a beginner series??
Lmfao the cabin audio
3:37 "Make a left right there at Delta."
Oh the joys of Atlanta ops.
I love all the aircraft popping wheelies on push-back.
As always;
Huge shoutout to the VATSIM ATC. Not all heroes wear capes o7
I thought I heard you on the frequency!! I departed KATL just before yall.
Thank you for putting the passenger audio in the video. It always makes me laugh 🤣
13:10 was gold lol
Formation flight into a Cat 4 hurricane was not on my bingo cards
The cuts of the passengers talking is my favorite bit i hope it is always there i love if
I love the passenger response to the wild landing. 🤣
as madness as this was. you are the only pilot id trust to make that irl.
The worst part about the entire flight is that the passengers are going to Florida.
Na florida is amazing
When will the inaugural “Flight simulator 2024 SFO sh1tshow” be?
"wind 030@41 gusts 71", and you survived the landing? GG WP.
The atlanta control has the voice of a dude id love to meet🤣
I want to see MS Flight Sim release an AirforceProud95 fuselage livery.
pulling seat cushion out of your colon on that one.
Stable approach ❌
2 white 2 red ❌
Main gear down first ❌
Didn't porpoise after touchdown ❌
Landing score: 4/10
Yup, checks out
😂😂
My man is out there carrying Shinzo Abe through the skies 🫡
"Seat belt signs were off so we have about 10 passengers left" - made me laugh lol
Not dying is a very important part of air travel, you succeeded!
I’ve been playing flying games for 30 years and I’ve seen some sketchy landings and done some sketchy landing but landing was sketchy it made me say oh shi
Reminds me of a funny atc interaction between spirit and the tower "uhhh....tower this is spirit airlines, we'll either make it through the thunderstorm or we wont."
Vanguard tier bonuses look incredible! Alemio is rewarding its loyal presale participants and early adopters well!
The cabin commentary is always on point "what the fuck was that", had me howling.
I saw Spirit heading towards him and I said to myself "wing strike" but then the *high five* got me good lol
Like GTA and Red Dead Redemption have serious role play communities.... i would love to rp as a Spirit passenger. 🤪
Good to see Austin back. Was waiting for a hot air balloon doing 500kts though. 🤣🤣🤣
There might as well be a playlist at this point on like the 3 or 4 videos on the channel that were solely based on this hurricane 😂
I was so sure you'd not be able to land. That was insane.
"Craziest landing of my life." *remembers back to landing airliners on carrier decks in FSX 😂
7:50 Good thing you did otherwise you wouldn't be able to see 🤣
The most dangerous thing on Spirit Air is, tripping on a chicken-bone thrown in the aisle. 😳😵💫
@0:24 you would make ryanair proud
8:22 truly a locked in atc 🗿🔥
Good stuff. Not sure how your landing gear thinks of that though.
“ The seatbelt sign was off the entire flight” I’ve never laughed so hard 😂
Babe wake up, AirForceProud95 posted another RUclips video!!
Last flew in and out of ATL back at the end of June. This was hella realistic.
Exactly what you want to hear out of the cockpit
“I don’t know *Too Low, Terrain* I guess this qualifies *pull up*
I was the F22 flying into ATL that day. Thanks for the feature!
Better landing then any RyanAir flight I have taken.
HES BACK
The passenger audio has me dying holy smokes 😂😂
That last line about Spirit at the end 😂👍🏻
IT'S RAININ SIDEWAYS
No passengers were harmed in the making of this video
"You can do everything once"
My new catchphrase 🤣
AF2 flying into a hurricane. Welcome to realism
"everybody wants to fly through the hurricane" yip! 😂
2:34 ayy to Columbus! They've been running 757s on that route occasionally, I finally got to see one the other day
Back near 40 years ago during my parents honeymoon they were flying into Tampa during a hurricane 🌀 and were barely able to land. This past year has hit Tampa so hard. Flying from pie to Indiana in a private jet during this was possibly the most horrific takeoff I've ever performed with a 50 knot crosswind and tailwind all the way to atl. However my most horrific flight was landing with no brakes in a small town grass and hoping to god that it stopped before we ran smack into a business that no longer existed but the building sure did. Between that and skydiving over Tampa bay down to Clearwater beach was probably the most amazing yet horrific experiences of my life
I like how it told you to pull up! Pull up! I’d be like what you think I’m doing 😂
i used to watch these types of vids in my middle school lunch times. then fell off but im so glad i found it again (im an apprentice)
