I just got a 2015 V6 Mustang, and im really enjoying it so far!!
I’m looking to get one sometime this week or the next.
Can’t wait to get mine & customize it ! So many people I know talk bad about Ford & mustangs . I’m around camaro junkies . I don’t see nothing wrong with the mustang I feel like it has better visibility & overall looks way better & I like how the engine sounds .

V6 has the same apps as ecoboost minus the line lock and launch control exclusive to gt

FYI....15 hp does not in any way make up for an 80 lb weight increase. Also Ford really fudged on their weight numbers for these cars. Multiple 2015 owners of the 5.0 have weighed their cars on 4 point weight scales and they are much closer to 2800 pounds. Realistically the car is closer to being 150 pounds heavier.
Motor Trend had a GT that was well above 3,700 lbs (as stated here as the top weight). The GT can weigh up to 3,800+ lbs..
why the top speed of GT version is 260km/h on speedometer?

i got my 2015 ford mustang gt and honeslty there is so much stuff in it, im still finding new shit in it but i love how you can adjust it from sport, track and normal also changing the colors is nice. but id have to say dont get a automatic get a manual to do it right

I just purchased my 2015 mustang gt 5.0 that cane with a premium package and some aftermarket mods.This is my 3rd mustang but this one is my first push/start car. There's so much technology in this one I'm constantly looking up videos to learn stuff. The different drive modes are cool...only messed with normal and sports mode so far. Anyone out there with a '015 gt who can give some tips to a newbie I'd appreciate 🙏

I just bought a 17 Mustang 6 speed manual with 8000 miles. It's still under Factory warranty until 10/22. I could only afford the v6 but I'm telling you this car is pretty damn quick and sticks to the road like glue. I'm saving for a grabber blue GT Performance Pack
Should have just got a gt with slightly more miles you probably would have paid the same price

I ordered a GT convertible with the 50th Anniversary package, and automatic trans. I have replaced the 35-pound resonator with Ford Racing X-pipe, the stock mufflers with the Ford Racing Touring by Borla, and added a CAI by Airaid. I also replaced the stock lights with LED including the front with switchbacks, and I installed a passenger side JLT oil separator. Including all the mods, and purchase price, I'm better off financially compared to the GM Corvette plus I have the rear seat that is roomier and usable thanks to the rag top.
On my last trip, I averaged 28.9 miles to the gallon, on regular gas too.
I would recommend you test drive a GT before ranting, it's very fast and a joy to flog on back roads. Does it have wheel hop? Yes. Do I drag race? NO.
+G Scurf Just wondering, why are you comparing the Mustang to the Vette? I love the Mustang, but it is no Corvette. Be it price, performance, or experience.
Better off comparing to the Camaro.

I was pricing out a Corvette before I went to the Mustang. I would never look at buying the Camaro. I know it's faster, my friend has the 2016 SS. I enjoy driving the back roads, and the Camaro has lousy visibility out. I hate that.

There is another car kicking ass and that's the Taurus SHO..Its AWD helps on hookup and with a few tweaks it's fast.

+Joe O focus will be more expensive starting at 37k+ i believe and in terms of performance i think its almost equivalent to gt, gt will still be quicker 0-60 and 1/4 not by much though
its all good about this car... its legend, and here it comes with great engine for best price... i dont see any other think to care about here (btw... highly recomend GT version... if somebody dont have enought money to pay for fuel, than dont buy mustang... eco boost is like torture for him:-)

+Steve Cea yeah.. not sure how much research this noob did on the Mustang. I have a 2013 Mustang GT with Track pack.. and although I put another 1500-1800 in the suspension, my car keeps up with the M3's and even most Porsche's (Not the GT3's mind you) But you can set up your car for whatever you like doing. 1/4 mile, the track, time attack, whatever.. its only $$$$.

Between this and the Camaro, the Camaro has better reviews and has a better score when It comes to reliability. That year Mustang has more than a few call backs. I still want one but the reliability not being as good and both at about the same price Is going to make the decision difficult.

these models have been available for a few months. Don't say a model only a few months old is reliable. Give it a few more weeks and you will see every 2015 mustang heading back to the dealership for mechanical problems, just give it a few more weeks baby
+Adam Delone Not only that, but the development timeline is many years. These drivetrains are pretty well vetted before they ever reach dealerships. Furthermore, it's stupid for people to argue about any new car actually being bad. Even the shittiest car you can go buy today is really not that bad. However, the days are probably long gone that you can buy something and keep it on the road working 100% for 200-300k miles. There are too many electronic sub-systems that will inevitably fail. This won't necessarily keep the car from working and driving, but I'd be surprised if a My Ford Touch system holds up for 300k miles. If Apple or Microsoft can't keep a computer working for a few years, I'm sure Ford can't do it either. Still a great car though, and most people aren't going to keep their car long enough for that to be an issue anyways.
+joeracer302 agreed. As for electronics they don't necessarily fail the car. It's a fixable problem that should fall under maintenance and not overall longevity of the vehicle
Adam Delone Yea, most of the items are luxury peripherals that even if they fail don't leave you stranded on the side of the road ... but there are lots of little electronic bits for the emissions systems that will require replacing so the car doesn't throw a code and possibly go into a limp mode. Cars are not as easy for the home mechanic to deal with, but they are safer, more fuel efficient, and have less emissions ... in general just all around better vehicles.

dmxmike2 If your car is gonna live at the track, then sure, get the Recaros. They do have much better lateral support.....but the stock seats aren't "horrible"......at all. My seat is very comfy to me. And here in NC, in August, the A/C seats are soooooooooo nice.
I get a true track person getting the all manual (lighter weight) Recaro seats......but man, I wanna love being in my car, and those seats are fucking awesome. It's not like after every turn, I'm saying to myself how much my seat sucks.

It's because Shelby, the designer of the Shelby mustang passed. So her input was no more and the designers had no idea what they were doing. At least that's my theory.
