Guys several years ago your review of the VA Vylyn shaft got me to purchase a 55 gram stiff, the best shaft I had ever put in a driver, this year my swing speed/strength dropped and I bought a 55 gram VA Vylyn Regular and love it, the regular gave me back the pop I lost with the stiff shaft. This Autoflex is on the radar now, when you get a certain age you start thinking of spending the money you been saving before the Nursing home gets it all. Well done again, love the tech content and your presentation.
I would love to see someone with a worse swing than Matt give this a try. Meaning someone that is normally inconsistent to see what it is able to correct.
If you put mine and Matt's swings side by side, Matt would look like he's playing a 3/4 shot and I'd look like I was busting my spleen with all my might... and both shots roll out to 270.
Love that you guys have continued to test this shaft and not simply ‘discounted it’. I mentioned it at local (chain) club fitter and they simply laughed it off. Fascinating stuff!

These auto flex videos continue to blow my mind! Really interesting to see it at human speed vs Matt speed. Although it was sad to see how slow my swing must look. Lol
To see what the shaft would do for an average player's clubhead speed....exactly. See them take some rips with a standard driver and then the autoflex. But even if you're getting an extra 5+ mph of clubhead speed is that worth $1100?? I mean I suppose if you're fabulously wealthy🤣🤣 But that's a lot of dough for maybe 15 extra yards on your perfect strikes.
@@chrisgilligan4968 Chris I agree with you, however, there are quite a few guys at my club that would spend almost ANY amount of money to hit it 15 yds farther. Of course, they have plenty of money!

A couple of important points. 1. super annoying to watch Matt take reduced swings and hit it 270 down the middle consistently, seriously thinking about taking up tennis. Have Matt try the Autoflex at 45 or 45 1/4, at his normal speed with his optimal autoflex shaft/setup. I bet it beats his “gamer” on accuracy and distance.
It's amazing how Matty is able to hit the ball well at any speed he wants, but commonly the people who swing at those speeds are medium-high handicapers who sucks at hitting the ball in the middle of the face. So to really test the autoflex shaft, one of this high hándicap guys have to test it.
Nothing ahainst Matty, but as Ian said in the video you should test these shafts with some proper lower-speed-swinger. Someone who loads the shaft all out but does not swing faster than a certain speed.
I would really love to see a true 15-20 handicapper with 90-95 mph speed on the show swinging this thing. Will be calling my buddies/relatives out in korea if the shaft still performs.
Do you guys have a high speed (120frames/sec) camera that can show the shaft loading shape from the transition to the impact? It would be interesting if you can compare with other "normal" shafts.
104 club head speed, 148 ball speed, 270 yards ... where can I sign up for this? My club head speed is 104, and with a ball speed of around 155 - 270 might show up once every 3 or so rounds, and then only if the course is relative firm!
I stock autoflex in the UK and have found the accuracy that the shaft gives for both off centre hits and clubpath/face differences are even more beneficial than the extra distance. For me the TSi driver is as long as any other driver with Autoflex is the longest straightest driver ever hit.
@@franexley4373 by far the TSi is best driver head of this year. It will be interesting to see how the others match up. I think ping G425 will push it on consistency. @@rhino305 try and get on a launch monitor Ryan, see if you can establish which variables are out of line for you. See if your Dyn Loft is too high, etc
@@dyoox01 Gotcha. Assuming the average 20+ handicapper had properly fitted equipment, I would imagine that they would still end up hitting a lot of balls wherever they normally do (heel, toe, all over the place) using the Autoflex. If anything they might get some extra distance from the extra clubhead speed it seems to impart without sacrificing anything in the way of dispersion. The though thing about doing test like this with higher handicappers is that they don't consistently square the club face AND their swing paths tend to be all over the place.
A little disappointed Matt didn't hit the noodle version at 110+ to show what happens if you buy the wrong version. That bit of amusement aside, awesome video. Love my Ventus Blue but this is really tempting.

Any chance we can get an average guy in the 20+ handicap range to try it?
Are you curious to see what it would do on bad shots?
@@16-bit-trip5 yes! I don’t always hit center on my driver. Lots of strikes on the heel.
Makes me want to get one 😜 good video guys. As usual
A little disappointed Matt didn't hit the noodle version at 110+ to show what happens if you buy the wrong version. That bit of amusement aside, awesome video. Love my Ventus Blue but this is really tempting.
Why doesnt Matt swing it right handed
so we can see how well he’s striking the ball with each shaft without the right handed swing being a factor
Well, it’s OBVIOUSLY a left hand shaft.
AFTER I SAW YOUR RUclips I ORDER 505X FROM KOREA. I HAVE ON TAYLORMADE M5 AND SO FAR SO GOOD. I'M WAITING ON PING G425 MAX IN US. I'M GOING TO PUT PING G425 MAX ON THIS 505X. I LOVE THE SHAFT
Matts old man swing is my good one ha ha. Wish I could get up to his real speed!!
Iron Matty at his best...short and harder load coming right up. That's really cool to see at more relevant swing speed.
I’m thinking of buying one with a Taylormade tip, which do you recommend sim or sim max? Just to get it in the right swingweight? Thanks
Brilliant boys , for showing us thank you
Would u think that a tiger or spieth would do good with this shaft?
My launch monitor readings are very similar with my stock Ping Tour 65. Apparently, in the hands of a highly skilled golfer, drives are dead-nuts straight with the AF.
