Yeah when I first went back to the western forest area and heard this music, I was like damn. I have speakers for my computer, although they are 20 ish years old they’re super high quality. I remember wandering through the forest when 27:27 came through the speaker and I got the chills. Similar vibes with the song that plays when the forest is on fire, I remember sprinting as flint trying to make it through and I was lost, and my introduction to the game was that music. Actually lots of themes in this game gave me the chills. Impressive for the shitty GBA soundfont. Kinda makes me want to make a video lol.
Where was this when I was in HS. I picked up saxophone to learn how to play these songs cause these songs were so well made. Timeless soundtrack. Underrated too. People talk all the time about the story which is great. But the music is what sells on this perfect game
